At 3,800 m, you hit [music] the Titanic. And just above it is where the infamous OceanGate submersible imploded. The deepest recorded natural point is 10,984 m, 6.8 [music] mi. You might have heard of this point. This is Challenger Deep, located in the Mariana Trench. If you put Mount Everest into the water upside down, there would still be over a mile until you got to the bottom. The ocean covers 71% of our planet, and we've explored less than 20% of it.
