MAGA Voters Are BEGGING Americans for FORGIVENESS After Supporting Trump

[00:00:00]I just want to say to every American that's having trouble with this, I am sorry I voted for him. I regret it with all my heart. I feel like I've enabled this monster to destroy democracy, destroy everything that is good in this country. We've got a very crazy man driving the train.

Not only there, I am actually for the very first time contributing across the board, across the country. And I've never ever written a check or spent any money on anything political because I'm afraid.

[00:00:34]I'm afraid. I've been a lifelong Republican since the day I turned 18.

[00:00:37]For the first time in my life, I'm going to vote a straight Democratic ticket. As if they're connected to Donald Trump, they're not connected to me. So, you now are no longer a Republican. I am not, no. Because of Donald Trump.

[00:01:22]I just think there's no values left anymore. There should be values. We have no values. He doesn't have any values. I thought he had values. No, I'm definitely voting Democrat. I've been knocking on doors. I got a clipboard.

I'm going to show you what it looks like to realize that you screwed up big and you screwed other people because of how you voted. A three-time Trump voter called into C-SPAN and said, "I was really wrong, really wrong and people are suffering." And this three-time Trump voter breaks down.

[00:02:43]Well, I'd like to first say I I apologize to all of America and all of Americans.

[00:02:51]I was a die-hard Republican. I cannot believe I drank the Kool-Aid, okay? I I am guilty. I drank the Kool-Aid of Donald J. Trump. In fact, I don't even know why we keep saying Donald J. Trump.

[00:03:06]This man is ruining the Constitution of the United States. What's going on in these Southern states, Louisiana and Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama. They're taking away the vote from the black man, the fight from the black people that are part of our country. They're stealing their vote.

[00:03:29]They're making it null and mean nothing and we need to we need to I don't know what we need to do, but I'm not going to vote for Donald Trump. I know that this country, if you see all the corruption, the billions of dollars that the Trump family is grabbing. It's a and he says it's never about the money. It's all about the money. The lies, the lies, the lies that come out of this man's mouth.

[00:03:54]Everything he says is not true is exactly what is true and it's just it's just I don't know what needs to be done but the Democrats need to grab the helm and lead the people what we need to do.

[00:04:05]They are overwhelming the system of democracy. He wants the Strait of Hormuz open. Guess what? Before he went there it wasn't open and the gas prices were beautiful.

[00:04:17]I mean everything >> listen. I I think you get it. I think this is a lot more than just one guy apologizing.

[00:04:25]It of course matters that this guy regrets voting for Trump. Cool. Step one.

[00:04:29]Step two, he's publicly admitting it.

[00:04:33]Number three, he's actually apologizing and not one of these I apologize if anyone was offended. I apologize.

[00:04:40]That alone is a level of self-awareness and humility that is pretty rare in American politics and especially when things are as polarized as they are today. For every Republican voter willing to say stuff like this publicly, there are hundreds or thousands quietly thinking the exact same thing privately.

[00:05:00]Family, [snorts] we are seeing something unprecedented happening in the United States of America. For the first time in so many years, we are seeing many MAGA voters who've been in the MAGA cult for so many years coming out publicly saying they are sorry to Americans at large for having voted for Donald Trump. Many MAGA voters are taking their time to apologize voting for Donald Trump because life under Donald Trump hasn't been easy. When you look at all, you know, aspects of life in the United States of America, when you look at the cost of living, when you look at health care, you'd notice that indeed Donald Trump has been the biggest problem in the United States of America for a minute now and people are getting tired, including mega supporters who never listened to any advice they were being given. Maybe many mega folks did not care about what it meant having Donald Trump in office. All they cared was having him. They did not care about mass deportation. White farmers did not care about losing people who work in their farms through these very same deportations. Many mega voters are delusional and they knew having a white leader, having Donald Trump in office, is all they wanted. Today, we are seeing them confessing and regretting the very same actions that they were warned before they actually voted for Donald Trump. So, family, I'd want you to watch this video all the way to the end as many mega voters and supporters actually ask people for forgiveness for putting such a leader into office. [00:07:34]That's a cult-breaking. Donald Trump is the emperor with no clothes on and everyone is blowing up in his face. I've seen the light and I got out of MAGA.

[00:07:45]A lot of us there have seen the light.

[00:07:48]We have deep regrets. I feel guilty because I voted for Trump twice. I feel very guilty because I feel responsible.

[00:07:55]That's why he's still running. I used to be a MAGA Republican and now I've turned blue. Donald Trump ran for office because he did not want to be held accountable. That's why January 6th happened. He was worried he was going to prison and he stormed the capital and he got away with it, which is horrible that we allowed that to happen. But he ran again for one reason, to get back at people. That's what he's doing right now.

[00:08:19]This is all about revenge. This is all about him going after people he doesn't like. And let me tell you something, he does not like the American people. If you don't see that for what it is, you're not paying attention and you absolutely need to wake up. They know telling the truth would destroy not only Donald Trump, it would destroy MAGA. And it would kill their base. That's what this is all about, power, protection, self-preservation. They would rather protect powerful people than do what is right because a lot of those people are billionaires and those billionaires are the reason Republicans are staying in office. They fund everything through super PACs, unlimited money, no accountability. That's the system that they're protecting and it's going to happen. It's going to happen. Donald Trump is absolutely unqualified for that position. His entire administration is unqualified for the jobs that they are doing. They have no history whatsoever when it comes to the roles that they're playing and that's why it's blowing up in their faces. They don't know how to do their jobs. They're just protecting Donald Trump. That's it. Protection, loyalty over competence and this is coming to an end. It's coming to an end sooner rather than later. That's why this is important. Everybody needs to continue spreading the word and speaking truth to power. But I would like to first apologize for my past MAGA activism. Had I met all of you when I was in MAGA, I would have deemed each and every one of you to be an existential [music] threat, and for that I'm sorry. You did not deserve to be dehumanized in that way.

[00:09:55]Robert, when you said you drank the Kool-Aid, what was it about President Trump that appealed to you initially, and what was it that made you break with him?

[00:10:05]I mean, just seeing the lies. Just see He put us in a war. The straight All Donald Trump wants right now is the for a clean face. He wants the Strait of Hormuz open. Guess what? Before he went there, it was open, and the gas prices were beautiful.

[00:10:24]He's putting up gold statues of himself.

[00:10:26]I mean, when are people going to wake up? Now, I drank the Kool-Aid. How did I drink the Kool-Aid? I can't even answer that. I don't know if it was those stupid rallies I went to, those stupid Look, I got rid of my Make America Great Again hat, okay? I got rid of that. I can't even believe I wore that hat.

[00:10:46]Today's the day that I'm feeling a lot of remorse for having supported Trump and MAGA.

Let me preface by saying that I am not making this video to elicit any sympathy or any pity from anyone, but it's just uh it's one of these days that are it's a stark reminder to me about the remorse, regret, and some of the guilt that I feel over having supported Trump and MAGA, not just as a a mere voter, but someone who was an activist, who was a pundit, who worked on the Trump campaign, who donated to the Trump campaign, someone who was an unapologetic and public Trump and Maga supporter as I was. And as the president threatens war crimes and probably nuclear war.

[00:11:45]It's just a reminder for me that I made a mistake and I would ask all of you out there who right now have Maga friends and relatives I think a lot of them are starting to feel some regret. I think a lot of them are starting to privately and quietly have their own doubts, their own confusion, maybe questioning their beliefs, maybe they're feeling a little bit guilt themselves about having supported Trump. It's just Today's a kind of day that you know, it it makes me think that I once supported the Republican Party and perhaps it's cynical of me to say this, but the Republican Party will not do anything to Trump. Trump knows that.

[00:12:32]When I was in Maga, it was a fantasy of ours to kill off the GOP and remake it and transform it into a Maga party.

[00:12:40]And I think if it means holding on to power, the Republican Party would let the country burn down to the ground and rule over its ashes. And I don't think that would be too steep a price to pay in the minds of the Republican Party. So reach out to your Maga friends and family today. See how they're feeling.

Donald Trump should be impeached and removed for this. All of his supporters should turn on him. It's the absolute betrayal of everything that he ran and campaigned on and everything that he stood for. Iran has done over and over again. But now we've pushed them to the point where they probably don't feel that they have the option not to respond. And Donald Trump telling them to come back to the negotiating table now is a joke. I mean what a what a impudent leader to be sitting there talking about coming back to the negotiating table. It's like sitting after Pearl Harbor and telling FDR now is the time to go negotiate with the Japanese. Negotiations are over now.

[00:14:05]The time for negotiations was before this. And so yeah, Donald Trump looks and man I I supported him this last year. I apologize for doing so. It was a bad calculation. At the time it seemed like the right one.

[00:14:18]But he should be impeached and removed for this one. And not not on some like not not on some ridiculous Nancy Pelosi.

[00:14:24]Of course the Congress will never do it cuz they're all a bunch of you know corrupt hacks. But this is the one thing they support. This is like the yeah.

[00:14:31]Donald Trump should be impeached and removed for this. All of his supporters should turn on him. It's the absolute betrayal of everything that he ran and campaigned on and everything that he stood for. And I will say despite the fact that you know Donald Trump supporters have been labeled like a cult following and that certainly is true for a percentage of his supporters. He is going to lose his coalition over this.

[00:14:53]There there I I I know I I don't just speak for myself when I say there are a lot of us who simply will not go along with this. So it's just a devastating mistake. By the way, on top of that he's also going to lose the deportation fight because of this. Because right now he needed all the political capital he could have to turn that you know you got a majority support for deportations but the minority is very mobilized and they're out and they're protesting all around the country. He needed all of his political capital for that move. So here's what we got. The neocons win.

[00:15:23]More war abroad and you know, bomb the world and invite the world. No matter who you vote for, you always get John McCain. Buckle up because this is a controversial one. Should we forgive the people leaving MAGA? I've gotten a ton of comments from people who say they will never forgive them, full stop.

[00:15:37]Others say we can't just yell at them as they leave or they will stay with MAGA and continue to do more damage before we can wrestle control of the country back.

[00:15:44]Others make the point that they don't deserve the coddling and if they aren't willing to face the shame of their actions and need to be shielded from them, how are we supposed to trust that their leaving is even likely to stick?

[00:15:53]I've had some very eloquent points made in my comments about the danger of allowing these clearly self-serving and untrustworthy people anywhere near our BIPOC led movements. That would be like inviting Bruce on Nemo's field trips and saying, "Hey now, he's reformed." When anyone complains despite the fact that Bruce proved that he can't control himself if there's any blood in the water. Here's where I stand. No one has to forgive anyone. These people have done serious relational damage to my BIPOC community. Obviously, you do you.

[00:16:17]Did you think a white woman was going to tell you how to behave? Probably because we are the worst, but that's another topic. To my white people, you don't have to be their best friend, you don't even have to like them, but it is our responsibility to educate and police ourselves. We didn't do that and a whole Nazi party was allowed to flourish. You don't have to congratulate them or tell them that they're amazing for leaving.

[00:16:35]All I'm saying is that you treat it like it's a normal and positive thing for society, which it is. They are exiting a cult that encouraged and amplified their fears and hate. Encourage them to keep learning and to find more people like them that are getting out. They don't belong in spaces with minorities unless they do major work to deconstruct, they cannot be trusted. But that doesn't mean that they should just have to stay in MAGA. At a minimum, please just show some indifference toward them so that they can work themselves out with their own community of ex-MAGA. No forgiveness necessary, just an appropriate level of tolerance. Family, nobody would have thought that MAGA supporters would come online and ask for forgiveness from Americans at large. The MAGA cult has been one thing that has never made sense to me when it comes to the United States of America, because family, I do not understand how people would vote for Donald Trump three times knowing good well that he's not a good, you know, candidate for presidency in the United States of America. The very first time Donald Trump was voted for, he did averagely. I wouldn't compare Donald Trump's first tenure with, you know, Barack Obama's tenure. And family, today we are seeing people compare, you know, Barack Obama to Donald Trump. And they are saying that Obama was a better leader. He was a better president. And family, I never thought in my lifetime I'd see MAGA voters cry and ask for forgiveness. Because family, MAGA voters has been people who never wanted to listen to anybody who did not support, you know, Donald Trump.

[00:18:09]Donald Trump has been nothing but a problem to the United States of America since he he took over office.

[00:18:16]And I think that explains why so many MAGA supporters are asking for forgiveness. Family, imagine a country where many citizens, more than a half of Americans, struggle with the cost of living. Many people struggle with the cost of groceries. Things are very, very expensive in the United States of America. I'm talking about food.

[00:18:40]Food is very expensive, family. Many folks depend, you know, on welfare for them to be able to eat or rather feed their families. Many people are on food stamps benefits not because they are not working hard. It's because their wages are constant while the cost of living is going high each and every day. And people are slowly getting tired. Why do you have to work so, so hard to be able to provide food for your family. And yet, the very same food commodities are very, very expensive for all citizens. Family, look at the cost of fuel. Gas is very, very expensive.

[00:19:20]And family, this thanks to the war that Donald Trump, you know, went on to fight Iran. Family, there wasn't need for him to do that, but he decided to do that without having to consult the Congress. Family, that was a fascist move for the United States of America to be in war with Iran. And slowly, the Strait of Hormuz was closed.

[00:19:43]And family, this is affecting not only America, but the world at large. The prices of gas is going high, and the world is in a lot of chaos because of something that Donald Trump could have easily avoided. Family, Americans are struggling because gas is also very expensive in their country. Since the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran was a strategic one, they knew very, very well that America and the world truly depends on the Strait of Hormuz for good oil supply and oil products. And family, people are seeing all these happening, and they are slowly getting tired of this MAGA cult.

[00:20:25]They are seeing whatever they've done not only to America, but the world at large. Things are unstable right now.

[00:20:31]And when many people see this for the first time, we are seeing MAGA voters in the MAGA cult coming out and saying enough is enough. Coming out and asking other Americans for forgiveness because they are seeing whatever chaos and problems they vote for the United States of America. He lied that he will ensure that America, you know, comes first. But family, when you look at whatever Donald Trump has done since he took over office for a second term, nothing, family. Chaos each and every day. Donald Trump has turned out to be a content creator. He wakes up each and every morning and decides to tweet.

[00:21:12]Truth Social knows Donald Trump very, very well because each and every day there's a tweet by Donald Trump criticizing other leaders or trying to show how fascist he is in his leadership as the president of the United States of America. America has been chaotic.

[00:21:30]America has been in shambles. And family, I tell you without fear of contradiction that America is falling.

[00:21:36]These are things that could have easily been avoided by voting Kamala Harris instead of Donald Trump. But many MAGA voters did not listen. Sometimes when you see them ask for forgiveness, telling Americans sorry, I at times you feel like this is a lie. You feel like this is not a genuine one because family, they never wanted to listen to anybody who tried to correct them against voting for Donald Trump. In fact, they knew that having Trump in office is the solution or rather the best thing that could ever happen to America.

[00:22:09]But family, today slowly each and everyone is feeling the heaviness.

[00:22:13]Everyone is starting to get tired of Donald Trump. People are seeing that indeed his leadership is not one that is benefiting Americans and America at large.

[00:22:27]America right now is in a lot of trouble with Iran. The cost of living is very, very high. Any other thing that he promised that he'll be doing, you know, during the campaign period, he hasn't achieved even a thing. And family, this is starting to make MAGA voters get tired. Some MAGA voters actually voted for him because he promised that he'll ensure that the Epstein files are exposed and that anybody who's found guilty, he will also ensure that they are brought to books and they are prosecuted. But family, has this happened? No, it hasn't. Family, when you talk about the Epstein files, he's actually ensured that these files are nowhere to be seen.

[00:23:12]And many people are actually, you know, connecting him to the very same files.

[00:23:18]And that has brought a lot of tension, you know, amongst the MAGA camp. And people are slowly leaving MAGA.

[00:23:26]MAGA was a very, very strong cult. I call it a cult because, family, at times it doesn't make sense to support somebody like Donald Trump. Somebody who's clearly shown you, you know, that whatever he wants does not align to everyday American. But people still voted for him. People still risked.

[00:23:47]That is why many a times they call MAGA a cult because I do not understand how you'd support such a leader. I do not understand how you'd vote for him. And family, with the tensions right now in America and all over the world, people are starting seeing that indeed Donald Trump wasn't the best fit for presidency in the United States of America. Family, look at health care.

[00:24:12]Other countries like Mexico are pushing universal health care and they promised their citizens that later in the year or early 2027, they will ensure that Americans actually do get universal health care covers. But family, look at Donald Trump and America. Today, the cost, you know, of going to get treatment in hospitals is crazy. America could have the best facilities when it comes, you know, to medical facilities. But family, the one thing that is stressing many Americans is the funds that you have to pay for these medical treatments.

[00:24:52]Family, health care is a thing today in America and it is affecting people so, so much. When I see MAGA people shed tears saying they actually brought Americans' problems.

[00:25:05]I do get it now because family getting out of the MAGA cult is not an easy thing. But seeing this happen today, I feel like it's time that people actually try so so hard and impeach Donald Trump out of office because he's clearly not been the best leader for Americans.
