Americans express deep national pride through visible patriotic symbols like large flags displayed everywhere, collective experiences like singing the national anthem at sporting events, and unique stadium designs that serve as entertainment complexes rather than just sports venues, creating a culture where national identity is publicly and openly celebrated.

Why Americans Are SO Proud of Their Country 🇺🇸 | British Guy Reacts
Added:[music and singing] [cheering] >> Yes.
Amazing.
So, we're going to be checking out why are Americans so proud of their country?
Europeans finally understand. Very excited to check out this video. The World Cup is coming to an end, but there's been so many cool videos that have come out of it. Some of the clips in this video are going to be from that, but the national anthem at the start of the World Cup, that was absolutely amazing. Very interested to check out this video and see what else it's got.
It's definitely going to be interesting.
Yeah, let's just jump straight into the video, but just before we do that, I would really appreciate it if you could hit the subscribe button. It massively helps out the channel. We're growing.
Also, one other thing, if you can, and it's something I'm still getting used to, I would really appreciate it if you could hit the hype button. You'd massively make my day if you could do that for me. But yeah, let's just jump straight into the video.
>> This is the most American thing I have ever seen.
>> What happened?
>> Who is it?
>> You are already inside the stadium.
>> Thousands of visitors kept talking about something completely different. It was how Americans react to their own national anthem. In this video, we're going to watch how visitors experienced it for the first time and why so many Europeans said they weren't expecting this at all.
>> [cheering] [singing] [singing] [music] [singing] [music] [music] [cheering] >> This is one of those things that's difficult to understand through social media alone.
>> [music] [cheering] [cheering] >> Yes.
>> [cheering] >> Amazing.
Videos online can show the anthem, but they can't recreate what it feels like to stand inside a stadium with tens of thousands of people singing together.
That's what >> That's actually my second time seeing that. And do you know what? It was just as beautiful seeing it the second time as it was the first time. Absolutely amazing video. Really wish I could have been there to experience that. I would have loved to have been there and actually experience that first hand. It just looks insane. That stadium is beautiful. That stadium is absolutely beautiful. But yeah, it blew me away the first time I see this video. Absolutely amazing.
>> why so many visitors say the experience surprised them.
>> Psycho.
>> American sports [music] have become one of the biggest places where national identity is expressed publicly. Before millions of fans even watch the game, >> [music] >> everyone shares the same moment. Whether it's football or international tournaments, the anthem has become part of the event itself.
>> to show you this because it looks like just another door to the >> Right, okay.
>> But when you walk in here, look.
>> I thought they didn't have AC in the stadiums.
>> You already inside the stadium. It looks like an every freaking shopping mall.
>> I don't believe that. It doesn't look like a stadium.
>> AC inside. Looks like there's an Apple store and probably a Starbucks there.
>> They have AC inside the stadiums. I know it's going to be hot in some of those stadiums, especially the temperature that's been for the last couple of weeks, but yeah, AC inside the stadiums.
That is just so cool.
>> America, you are doing things different.
>> This place is beautiful.
>> in Europe. Looks like I'm in a freaking train station or something.
>> [laughter] >> Look at this.
Look at this.
>> I want to know what the food is as well that they've got there. I could just imagine there's going to be so much good food.
>> Let's walk through the front and see where we can go.
This is pretty damn real. I don't even feel like I'm in a football stadium.
This is Dallas Stadium. So different than >> Right, Dallas.
>> European stadiums are usually built around one purpose, watching the match.
[music] Many American stadiums are built around the entire day. The goal is to give families, tourists, and fans something to enjoy before, during, and after the game.
>> This is the most American thing I have ever seen.
>> This is the biggest flag I have ever >> This was at the start and I was so curious as to what he was talking about.
But now I've seen that part that says this American flag is bigger than the UK. I'm very interested. I want to see how big this flag is.
>> seen. And you know what's crazy at the moment in the UK, >> Yeah. people are getting fined for flying the British flag. And one of my friends has actually had his flag ripped down on three different three different occasions from his house, which is madness.
>> If you were to fly this size flag in the UK, I reckon you get like a £20,000 fine.
>> They wouldn't let you, which is completely insane. Think about that.
>> It's actually I find it very disrespectful that you can't fly your own flag in your own country.
>> But that is exactly why we see it as so beautiful in America. I know there's a lot of people that would agree with me and just seeing the the American flags everywhere, to seeing everyone up for the national anthem, all of that, it's it's just so patriotic. It's so beautiful.
>> Who on earth is making those rules? Who on earth agrees with that? But anyway, this flag is unbelievable. I'm It gives me shivers looking at it. It's beautiful. Look at the size of >> Americans, quickly, what would you do if you saw someone ripping down an American flag? Question for you.
>> [music] >> Incredible.
>> Beautiful.
>> One thing many visitors notice is that American flags are everywhere.
>> [music] >> You'll see them outside homes, businesses, schools, and stadiums. While people in the UK also fly the Union Flag, [music] it simply isn't as common to see large flags displayed in everyday life. That difference often stands out to visitors because patriotic expression is generally much more visible in the United States. Thanks so much for watching. Now I want to hear from you.
Which American tradition or everyday thing do you think surprises visitors the most? Let me know in the comments.

>> Very interesting video. I seen the full video of the national anthem before. And you could check that out. It's on the channel. I'll put a link down in the description. But yeah, very interesting seeing that I see was in the stadium as well. The stadium looks so different to what I would be used to. Really cool.
Really enjoyed that video. Really enjoyed seeing the stadium again as well. Cuz that stadium, the way the national anthem was being done, seeing all the crowd being very patriotic, it was just beautiful. It was beautiful the first time I see it, and it was very beautiful the second time I see it. But thank you so much for checking out the video with me. I'd really appreciate if you could hit that subscribe button. But for now, I'm going to catch you on the next reaction.
