#US Shifts ‘Christian Persecution’ Narrative From #Nigeria to #Tanzania

Well, Washington has just taken that exact propaganda soup, reheated it and served it [music] to another African country 5,000 km to the east of Nigeria.

[00:00:29]At the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on April 28, 2026 [music] US Senator Ted Cruz, without any attempt at providing anything that can pretend [music] to pass for concrete evidence, accused the Tanzanian government of carrying out a deliberate campaign to intimidate Christians and to suppress religious activity.

[00:00:47]Subsequently, in his latest attempt at playing world police despite his completely collapsed credibility, [music] the US government, which casually murdered over 165 Iranians for gas [music] just 3 months ago in one of the worst crimes against humanity ever documented, [music] went on to sanction a Tanzanian police official over the alleged torture of two human [music] rights activists. The activists in question, Agather Atuhaire from Uganda and Boniface Wanjohi from Kenya, left their home countries in May 2025 [music] and traveled to Tanzania to attend a court hearing that attempted show of political support for Tundu Lissu, a Tanzanian opposition leader who was standing trial for treason following his public declaration that his party will violently prevent the October [music] 29 election from holding unless the country's constitution was written to his liking [music] without public involvement in just 5 months.
