What America First DOESN’T Mean

[00:00:00]America first is the preservation and protection of the United States of America, but that that is what's best for the world. It has been for the last 80 years and it will be as Dr. Roberts was just saying for the next 80 years and and beyond that. And so focusing on American interests does not mean ignoring partners and allies. It does not mean uh ignoring um enemies and compet- competitor nations.

[00:00:26]It means that you you go into those engagements with just a clear idea of what your priorities are. And so I think we are seeing these beneficial, as I said, secondary uh secondary effects of this. I mean, we're looking at things like Venezuela and Cuba. You know, Venezuela flips, is Cuba next? Just because Cuba needs Venezuela to survive in its current structure. So So I think I think you know, the president's always been very clear
