[00:00:12]You know, all over the [music] world people have found this material and understood that fire [music] and clay make something special.

[00:00:21]I would say I would always wanted to do [music] art, but I never felt talented.

[00:00:26]So, I did whatever my hands would turn to, [music] I would do it and it would be whatever was available to me when I grew up here in Queens.

[00:00:34]So, I loved art. [music] I loved it and but I just felt that it wasn't something I could really dedicate myself to until I walked into a pottery studio [music] in Queens and and everything changed. All right, so I'm going to make a bowl from this clay.

[00:00:52]I need to open the center.

[00:00:54]So, I'm pressing into the middle.

[00:00:57]And I can slow down the wheel a little bit.
