Heads up! Flood watch extended through Memorial Day Monday 7pm

[00:00:00]Hey, this just in from the National Weather Service. Our flash flood watch has been expanded and extended, and that means we've got more counties in the watch. Harris County now included, Montgomery County, Liberty County. Just about all of Southeast Texas now included in that flash flood watch. It's also been extended, meaning the time has been prolonged. Initially set to expire 7:00 a.m. Monday, now this flash flood watch goes all the way through 7:00 Monday night. So, this is a long duration potential flood event. And while you've got chances for rain today, I've got the overall coverage at just 40%. A few downpours today. It's not until you head into the weekend when things really ramp up. Saturday, an 80% chance of showers and storms. We've got it tagged as an ABC 13 weather watch day. A good day to stay weather aware.
