Roblox’s reliance on opaque AI moderation creates a volatile environment where years of developer effort can be erased without warning or recourse. This video highlights a critical failure in platform governance that prioritizes algorithmic efficiency over the stability of its creative community.

Roblox is Deleting Popular Games... (AI Ban Wave)Ajouté :
Hello, my friends. Roblox recently banned a lot of very popular games for absolutely no reason and with basically zero notice that any of this was going to happen. When I say popular games, I don't really mean a few that might have reached 10,000 players one time, but you've never actually heard of it in your whole entire life. I'm talking about games that I can almost guarantee you have heard of games that are pretty much certified classics. They've been around for as long as I can remember.
Games that have reached 250,000 players at all times and even games with half a billion visits. Roblox is currently taking as many prisoners as they possibly can and they've made it quite clear that they are showing no mercy.
The main problem, in fact, isn't even that these games are suddenly being closed with no warning whatsoever. It's more the way the developers of said games aren't really being told what happened, what went wrong, what exactly their game was taken down for, and we all know that Roblox support is about as useful as a feather in a heavyweight competition against an elephant. The most recent games have been banned by whatever this strange little ban wave is was Slime RNG. It looks like this is a relatively new game having only been created in February of this year, but it still averages over 250,000 players at all times, possibly even higher depending on the day and time.
This is just one game joining a very long list of games that have been temporarily taken down on Roblox in the past couple of weeks and the list only seems to be growing with each day that passes. There could very well be more than this at this point, but from what I could find, we have recently seen Pressure, Slime RNG, My Restaurant, Flood Escape, Robloxian High School, Stroocid, Noob Train, and Giant Simulator all get temporarily banned within the last 7 days alone. Despite these many games and developers falling victim to whatever is getting them taken down, we still have no idea why this is happening or what the cause could be. Of course, we already talked about Pressure being taken down when that happened like 2 weeks ago, and I think we are still without any kind of confirmation as to why that happened, but it was speculated that the age rating questionnaire was outdated or incorrect with the upcoming changes to how that's going to work. And that theory probably makes the most sense considering it was rated 5+ before it went down and then was rated 18+ and changed later to 13+ after it went back up. With that in mind and with Roblox soon locking all 13+ games to anyone who hasn't completed age verification, naturally, I assumed that this same reason could be applied to all games that had recently been taken down.
Honestly, I still assumed that that was the case until I started making this video, and it no longer seems to be the reason why, at least not for these games. The developer of an SCP game with almost 100 million visits also had his game taken down, but he mentioned an AI moderation ban wave. Like, if that game were to also have been taken down for the age rating questionnaire reason, the developer would have been told, and all he would need to do to get the game back up would be to fill in that questionnaire again. That is clearly not the case because he's over here trying to ask Roblox for help on Twitter. So, whether or not this truly is some kind of new ban wave that's targeting games instead of accounts, we don't really know. And this right here is the main problem with Roblox never saying anything to us because we are constantly left with more questions than answers about such serious issues that affect thousands of people, and it only makes it a lot worse when it's developers who are directly affected because they are the ones who make the platform. Someone in the replies said, "Apparently, Roblox is having some asset issues with certain games, probably because of some new AI."
And the response from the developer mentioned something about new Roblox policies. So, I would say that this is far more likely to be the reason for all of these games being deleted this week.
Pressure being taken down for the whole age rating questionnaire thing was probably just bizarre timing and a crazy coincidence considering the timeline of dozens of games suddenly being wiped out by Roblox within a few days. Do you know what would be so much better and a lot more convenient than having to guess and theorize as to why all of these notable games are being deleted, being told the reason why it's happening. Or better yet, Roblox could just fix whatever the hell is messing up on their platform this time to be causing this to happen right now so that the games don't get deleted in the first place. They aren't exactly being shut down for small periods of time. It looks like they are gone for hours at a time, potentially even entire days. And sure, they get restored eventually because they literally did absolutely nothing wrong and should never have it been banned in the first place, but I can't really imagine a game developer's favorite thing in the world is watching their game get closed for no reason with no way of reopening it. Being closed for that long probably also hurts the game's performance, especially when they don't get many players to begin with. Look, I'll leave with this. Roblox just needs to do better, especially when it comes to their developers, the very people who are the reason that Roblox continues to operate every single day, and that's the end of that. So please, the comments is the place to go and tell me what you guys think about Roblox suddenly banning a lot of popular games within the past 7 days for absolutely no reason. How surprising.
Thank you guys so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one.
