SLEEPING IN A BEDROOM OF ROSES

[00:00:15]Thank you very much for watching last week's vlog. It was a great success. I had lots of inquiries and um this week I hope it's going to be better and um I'm going to share the Shambra Veladon with you and um she I'm going to she was an artist in the hoten area and she was born in um Bessinio in 1865.

[00:00:44]Now, Susanna Valadon became one of France's most important painters.

[00:00:49]Initially an artist's model, she was self-taught and later became one of the first women admitted to the n uh to the national dear that is where all the artists and she was one of the top artists that became there. Her life reflects independence, artistic courage and creative reinvention. She she was rather way ahead of her time really this woman. And this is one of the woman that I do like some of her paintings. I really do like them because she was just so wonderful.

[00:01:26]Um as you noticed I named the bedrooms after females [music] that are famous in this area and I just feel it brings the community together and the chatau has rooms which represents the people from the area. So without further ado, I'm going to get up and take you through and show you Shambra Balad. Enjoy.

[00:01:59]Right, if we go in and I'll show you Shan by Valenor named after a famous artist from this region.

[00:02:45]And there's a lovely painting while on canvas.

[00:02:55]And then if we move across and we look at this lovely view from this room. over the garden.

[00:03:07]And these beautiful redwood trees, aren't they gorgeous?

[00:03:12]I've got about five of them in the garden.

[00:03:26]Straighten this. There we go. That looks nice.

[00:03:31]And then we've got the coffee table where you can make yourself coffee and teas.

[00:03:41]And you get filtered water if you want water.

[00:04:09]The ceilings are quite high here.

[00:04:12]They're like nearly 4 m high.

[00:04:18]And then we've got the wardrobe where we've got the robes in here.

[00:04:34]There's another wardrobe over there where you could it's got extra blankets in there if you're chilly on chilly nights.

[00:04:44]And then we've got this lovely chest of drawers that's been painted.

[00:05:11]I think they look quite cute.

[00:05:18]So, you can put your things in there.

[00:05:21]And then if we look at the room and we move across to the bathroom, we've got some paintings here.

[00:05:39]And then if we go into the bathroom, lovely shower, rain shower as well.

[00:06:01]And then [music] the view from the bathroom.

[00:06:31]A little drawer here to put your things.

[00:06:35]And if we open up the cabinet over here, we've also got place for everything.

[00:06:59]And then we've got the towels for the bathroom.

[00:07:37]And so we exit shabor.

[00:07:49]>> [music] [music] >> Welcome. Guys, I hope you've enjoyed the vlog that I put together. It's quite a pretty room. I quite like it very much and um I think it's all come out very nicely.

[00:08:27]So, now that I finished um this room and Shambra Bestier is finished as well, but just keep in mind, I wanted to share with you guys that in time if I see something pretty for the room and I have the money for it, I'll buy it and then I will add to it. And if I decide, oh, I I want to wallpaper that wall in the in the chat. Now, now that all the basics have been done, the shut is clean, I've got everything functioning, now I can start in time adding things to it. If I go shopping and I see a nice sofa for the bedroom or two chairs that match in here better, I will be able to do that.

[00:09:13]And so, over the years, I will enhance the room slowly as I go along. But now, everything is nearly finished and it's nearly done. I don't think I've really I've got a little bit to do down on the east wing, but that's not much. And then everything is ready.
