[00:00:11]Uh and I'm so happy to have you here with me.

[00:00:14]And so that you can learn and get an opportunity to actually let go of anger, guilt, grievances in the past so you can party like a big dog and have a good time in your particular dream, in your particular life right now. So, take a breath.

[00:00:33]Take a breath right now and I'm going to dive right in.

[00:00:40]Now, remember you need not believe the ideas, you need not accept the idea, you need not welcome the idea. Some of the ideas you may actively resist.

[00:00:50]Some of the ideas you might find hard to believe. Some of the ideas you might find hard to believe. Some of the ideas you might find hard to believe. Some of the ideas you might find hard to believe. Some of the ideas you might find hard to believe. Some of the ideas you might have some resistance to because this this section I'm going to cover today, uh if you actually hear what it's saying, uh I believe you're going to have some resistance.

[00:01:14]I honestly believe that you're going to have a lot of resistance to some of these ideas, which is in lesson 76 in the workbook, the blue course in A Course in Miracles book.

[00:01:41]The lesson is I am under no laws but God's.

[00:01:46]I'm not under any laws but the laws of love. I'm not under any laws but the universal laws. We're not under any laws except the laws of the universe.

[00:01:55]We're not under any laws except the laws of spirit.

[00:01:59]We're not under any laws. We're not under the laws of man. We are not under the laws of man. We are not under the law under the laws of culture. We're not under the laws of man-made morality.

[00:02:11]We're not under the laws of anger. We're not under the laws of ego. We're under the laws of love. We're under the laws of truth. We are living under the laws of truth.

[00:02:23]Uh >> [clears throat] >> Now, regardless of your Let me give you an example. The laws of gravity, for instance.

[00:02:32]Um would the laws of gravity still apply to us equally regardless of our religious or political beliefs?

[00:02:40]If you're a Baptist, would would would gravity apply to you as much as to a atheist?

[00:02:45]Okay. Any laws that relate to all of us is a universal law. So, at this level, the law of gravity is a universal law.

[00:02:57]So, saying that you're under no laws but love and no laws but God is letting you know that regardless of what you believe, the laws that you're really being ruled by is the laws of truth, the laws of God.

[00:03:12]So, so we are going to talk about how we are not under any other laws but the laws of God. We under the laws of our creator.

[00:03:21]So, I'm going to This is This is This section is really deep.

[00:03:25]So, let's go through it.

[00:03:27]It says, "We have observed before how many senseless things have seemed to you to be salvation." We [clears throat] We have seen how many senseless things seem to be the things that we think are going to give us peace and going to give us happiness.

[00:03:45]Um which of course we define as power, money, fame, and physical pleasure.

[00:03:51]Um because there's no one that's experienced any of those that's really had any kind of um permanent happiness.

[00:03:59]So, the course says, "Each thing that you have bound yourself to that you thought would make you happy based on something that we learned from the world." The course says, "Each has imprisoned you with laws as senseless as itself."

[00:04:16]You are not bound by them. So, we're not limited by any or bound by any rules that man and people have made up.

[00:04:24]You don't have to live your life according to any rules that man or people have made up.

[00:04:30]You are not bound or limited by the rules of money. You're not bound or limited by the rules of fame, specialist, or physical pleasure. Yet, to understand that you're not bound by all the stuff that the world is trying to put on you, then you got to first realize why where salvation, which is your happiness and your peace, lies. And to understand that none of your happiness is located in anything in the world outside yourself.

[00:04:58]So, why do you keep seeking for your happiness in things that the world tells you is going to make you happy, which is power, money, fame, and physical pleasure?

[00:05:09]Um, then the course says you abandon yourself to laws that make no sense.

[00:05:13]You know, there was a time when I was growing up that women didn't dresses to church.

[00:05:19]So, then they would feel upset or embarrassed if they were tempted to do that. The truth is, when someone thinks that they are bound by a law that's telling them that your dress has to be a certain length in order for you to be okay with God, that's you allowing yourself, for instance, to be bound by a law that doesn't make any sense.

[00:05:40]Um, so you're trying to prove that your happiness and peace is where it's not.

[00:05:45]So, to make it really simple, your happiness and your peace is not located in anything that human beings come up with that determines whether or not we're okay.

[00:05:55]Anything that you tell yourself that you have to do outside yourself in order to be okay, in order to have peace, and in order to have happiness, you're trying to prove that your healing and your salvation is in something that it really is not in.

[00:06:13]Any questions about the first paragraph?

[00:06:19]>> [clears throat] >> So, today we will be glad that you can't prove that your happiness lies where your happiness is not, because if you can prove that your happiness lies where your happiness does not, you will keep forever seeking for happiness where it's not, and you'll never find it. So, the idea for today, which is I'm under no laws but God, I'm under no laws but love, I'm under no laws but but the laws of God, I'm under no laws but the laws of God. That idea for today tells you once again how simple is your peace and how simple is your happiness, because do you know that if you look for your salvation, if you look for your happiness, if you look for your peace where it really is, and where your peace and happiness really wait for you, there you will find it.

[00:07:19]So, is that saying that if we look for something where it's located, we would find it? If I look for my car out on the street, right in front of the church, which is where it's parked, Okay. Which is where it's parked, will I find my car?

[00:07:38]>> Yes.

[00:07:38]>> Yes.

[00:07:39]>> Okay. So, if I look for it in City Park, [clears throat] would I find my find my car?

[00:07:46]No. So, would that mean the course says the reason why people are not happy is because they're looking for their happiness and their peace and their abundance and love where it's not located. Just like if I was looking for my car in the park, I wouldn't find it.

[00:08:01]The course is simply saying everybody's people many people are unhappy and searching for happiness and believing that they'll never find it for the same reason. We keep looking for our happiness and peace in something outside of ourselves. Something outside of ourselves. Whether that's money, whether that's power, whether that's specialist, whether that's fame, whether that's physical pleasure, the course says if you look for it where it waits for you, there it will be found, but look no way else because it your happiness is no where else. So, the happiness that you're looking for, you can have that happiness that you're looking for, you can have that success inwardly that you're looking for, you can have that peace that you're looking for, you can have that freedom that you're looking for if you look for it where it's located.

[00:08:52]And guess what? That freedom that you're located is in you following the laws of God, the laws of love, the laws of truth. So, think of the freedom, think of the freedom, think of the freedom, think of how free you would be if you would have recognized that you're not really bound, that you're not really limited by all the strange and twisted laws that you've set up to save you. So, I feel free because I don't do anything that the world or other people tell me I should believe or I should do. I've been that way since I was a teenager. I've never lived according to the rules of the world, and I always felt the freedom of that. Now, sometimes it upset other people around me because I wouldn't live according to the rules that they set for me or the rules that the world set for me.

[00:09:43]But I'm glad to know all these insane rules of the world are not the rules that are ruling me.

[00:09:49]And so that's what the course is saying.

[00:09:51]I want you to think about the freedom you would have if you realized you were not ruled by what the world teaches you.

[00:09:57]And basically we learned in the previous lessons what that is, which is one sentence that you hear me say over and over again from the course which is if this were different, then I would be happy. If you spoke differently, if you act differently, if you behave differently, then I would be happy.

[00:10:21]If I lived somewhere else, I would be happy.

[00:10:26]If I had more money, I would be happy.

[00:10:29]If I had less weight, I would be happy.

[00:10:33]If I had more food that I liked, I would be happy. So, every time you look for your happiness and it's based on anything or anybody being different before you will let yourself be happy, that's the same as allowing yourself to be ruled by the strange and twisted rules of the world because most people who are not asleep who are asleep in the world are always looking to change and manipulate other people around them to be the way they want that person to be in order for them to feel good.

[00:11:12]And that's the same as saying I believe power, money, fame, physical pleasure, all these things outside me, if they were different, if I made more money, then I would be happy.

[00:11:24]Okay. So, the course is saying I want you to take a minute. I want you to think about how free you would feel if you were not bound by all the rules that the world has made up for your happiness.

[00:11:41]And then of course the miracles gives you demonstrations. It says, "You really think that you would starve unless you have stacks stacks of green paper strips and piles of metal disc." Another way the course described money.

[00:12:03]And add plastic and digital currency.

[00:12:07]Because the Course in Miracles was written 50 years ago.

[00:12:11]So 50 years ago there was not digital currency and credit cards at the level they're at today. But I tell you what, a lot of people who think they believe in the higher power, what they really believe in is their credit score.

[00:12:30]>> [laughter] >> And what they really believe in is the money in their bank account. And what they really believe in is their job.

[00:12:38]That's what they really think is taking care of them. And sometimes you don't realize how much you think you believe in God and you think you believe the higher power is taking care of you, but it's really that job and that all that paper strips and metal discs.

[00:12:55]You know, I I had a time in my life where my ego I self-sabotaged myself and got into a ton of debt and my credit score went down and I couldn't buy the stuff that I used to buy or had the credit cards I used to have. And let me tell you, and and you're self-employed, at that time you really get a chance to see, "Do I really believe in the Holy Spirit? Do I really believe in the higher power?" Oh, the truth is what I really believed in was my credit. And what I really believed in was the money I had in the bank. It's easy to say you believe in God when you still look like you're taking care of yourself.

[00:13:39]It's a whole different ballgame if you don't have any of those worldly structures around you.

[00:13:46]So my point in saying this is in terms of my faith in God, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.

[00:13:56]Because I just I just dabbed into the Course in Miracles teachings even more and I did what the Course in Miracles was teaching me to do. And what happened was I found out there was something that would still take care of me even if I didn't have credit cards and I didn't have good credit and I was self-employed.

[00:14:18]I saw that by me putting God first in my life and the truth first in my life and acting according to cuz funny thing about being in a desperate situation and you're suffering, you get a lot more serious about your spiritual path usually. Most people don't really get serious about their spiritual path unless they're suffering.

[00:14:38]Now, I'm trying to let go of that that I don't want to have to suffer in order for me to follow the laws of God and the laws of love. So my point in saying that is you really think that you would starve unless you have a lot of money.

[00:14:52]Then the Course in Miracles says the next it says do you really think a small round pellet which we call you could call it aspirin, Tylenol, whatever kind of prescription that we get uh or some fluid pushed into your veins.

[00:15:09]You ever got a shot?

[00:15:11]So you think getting a shot I love how it says through a sharpened needle. It's a It's a big enough trip thinking about getting a shot with a needle, but the Course in Miracles takes it to another level, it says a sharpened needle, not even a regular needle. Says, if you think some fluid pushed into your veins through a sharpened needle will ward off disease and death. Anybody remember COVID?

[00:15:37]And the COVID vaccine?

[00:15:40]Or flu shots?

[00:15:42]Or antibiotics? The Course in Miracles is just saying, you really think that without that you would die.

[00:15:49]That we were told that quite plainly.

[00:15:52]That without getting vaccinated, as as you call it, vaccinated?

[00:15:57]That you would die. So, here's a here's one of my favorite ones. The next line is what? You really think you are alone unless another body is with you.

[00:16:12]Uh it's actually don't you know that with most people it's scary for them to be alone and then think there is another body with them that they can't see. There's a there's somebody there that you can't see. So, in other words, some people there are a lot of people I've met over the years who can't be alone.

[00:16:34]They literally have to have someone with them all the time. They have to be in a special relationship all the time.

[00:16:41]There's got to be somebody that they're doing something with all the time because many people think that they are alone unless there's another body with them.

[00:16:51]So, any thoughts about that paragraph?

[00:16:58]How many of you all are willing to admit that you have believed and a part of you does believe that if you don't have any money and believes that if you don't take medicine or you don't get vaccinated around some things or that you're really by yourself unless another person is with you.

[00:17:19]Anybody here have that kind of thought?

[00:17:20]>> Mhm.

[00:17:21]>> Yeah.

[00:17:22]>> Those of you online, you having that kind of thought? Mhm.

[00:17:26]Uh one of the things that's the funniest thing about the Course in Miracles is that people say that they don't understand it and that it doesn't make any sense. And only thing the Course in Miracles does better than any other book that I've read is just tell the truth about the way that we are and the things that we do.

[00:17:43]And then we go, "I can't I don't I don't understand." What do you mean you don't understand it? You know you think you need money.

[00:17:49]You know good doggone well you have sometimes taken medicine and pills when you think you're taking. You also know that you had a shot probably if you lived if you're an adult, you've had a shot probably of some kind. So, what it says was the truth. And you know you've had times when there was nobody with you and you felt lonely and you felt alone.

[00:18:17]>> [clears throat] >> Sometimes my challenge is that I enjoy solitude too much.

[00:18:26]I'm I got to put the astrology have what they call a Pisces moon.

[00:18:30]That's the placement of the monk.

[00:18:33]You know, it's like it's like for me that's when I get a chance to really get in touch with my thoughts and what I want. And so the Course says it's insanity. See, the Course says it's insane to think uh these things. That is that that insanity is actually to believe unless you have money you're not going to be taken care of by God. The Course says it's insane to believe that ultimately you have to have a shot and you have to have pills to be okay. The Course actually says it's insane for you to think that you don't have all kinds of invisible invisible connections and love and spirit with you all the time.

[00:19:15]But it says, "But you call it laws."

[00:19:18]And so you put these laws, you put these things that you think you need under different names and a long catalog of rituals that have no use and serve no purpose.

[00:19:36]So then the course always goes, "In case you didn't get what I just said."

[00:19:40]It says, "Let me say it to you another way."

[00:19:43]You think you must obey the laws of medicine.

[00:19:48]You believe you must obey the laws of economics. You believe you must obey the laws of health.

[00:19:57]So you believe you need to protect your body.

[00:20:01]And if you protect your body, you'll be okay. If you protect your body, you'll be saved. I'm on I'm on lesson 76 in A Course in Miracles, the blue book, page 134.

[00:20:15]So you really think you are alone unless another body is with you. But what did the course says that that is? Says that it's insanity that thinks these things. You call them laws.

[00:20:27]You put them under different names and a long catalog of rituals which have no use and serve no purpose. You think you must obey the laws of medicine. You think you must obey the laws of economics. You believe you must obey the laws of health, which are basically protect your body and you will be saved.

[00:20:53]Any questions? Any comments about that paragraph that we just covered?

[00:21:06]These are not laws.

[00:21:08]These are madness.

[00:21:13]Now, this is what the course says causes your body to be endangered.

[00:21:19]This is what the Course in Miracles teaches that causes you to have physical problems with the body.

[00:21:26]The body is endangered by the mind that hurts itself.

[00:21:39]Are you trying to tell me that the physical physical problems that I think I have is actually being caused by my mind hurting itself? So, what would a mind hurting itself looks like?

[00:21:57]It would be a mind full of fear, a mind full of guilt, a mind that thinks it's separate, a mind that believes in attack, a mind that believes that it's different from God's mind, a mind that believes it's a victim of everything.

[00:22:15]That's what endangers the body.

[00:22:18]So, your body is suffering just in order that your mind will fail to see that it is the victim of itself.

[00:22:33]I think I got a cold because I was with the person the other day that had a cold, so I caught that cold from something outside of myself out there.

[00:22:47]But what I don't realize is that my anger, my guilt, my grievances, not loving myself, projecting, putting fear and guilt and anger on other people and on myself, that's what's causing the suffering of my body.

[00:23:06]So, the course says you failed to see that you are victim of your own mind because you're so busy focusing on the idea that your body is going through things that don't have anything to do with the way you think.

[00:23:25]Most people don't believe that what's going on with their financial situation is just happening because of the way they think.

[00:23:33]Most people don't believe that the challenges that they're going through in their relationships, that's only happening because of the way they think.

[00:23:42]Most people don't believe that any physical ailments that they're going through, they're having those ailments because of their own fearful, angry, guilty thinking.

[00:23:56]Can we agree?

[00:23:58]>> Yes.

[00:23:59]>> Okay. So, your body's suffering.

[00:24:04]Have you ever heard of the of of the suffering of the body as being a mask?

[00:24:10]Think about a mask. So, if the suffering of your body is a mask that your mind is holding up to hide that it's your mind that's really suffering.

[00:24:25]So, focusing on the suffering of the body hides the fact that what's really making that person suffer is their thinking and their beliefs and their thoughts and their programming.

[00:24:46]>> It's the book called The Body Keeps Score.

[00:24:49]>> The body is letting you know exactly what's going on in your mind.

[00:24:54]That's what's so cool about the body.

[00:24:57]The You can tell me all day and when I said the body, I wanted to I want to emphasize that when the course talks about the body, it's just not talking about your physical body. It's talking about your perception.

[00:25:09]So, your body is not only your physical body. Your body is everything you see.

[00:25:14]You know why? Because it looks like you're living inside of your perception.

[00:25:20]Just like it looks like you're living inside your body, it looks like I'm living inside what I see. So, when it says the body's suffering, it can take the form of what you would think of as a financial problem or what you would look at as a job problem or what you would look at as the as as as the things that seem like it's going on in the world that's got everybody so upset.

[00:25:44]That's all the body.

[00:25:46]So, people are so focused on what they perceive as suffering and what's causing suffering outside of themselves that it hides from them that it's really their own beliefs and thoughts and emotions that's creating their suffering.

[00:26:07]I am telling you the truth.

[00:26:15]So, what is your spiritual work?

[00:26:17]Your spiritual work would be to recognize that you're under no laws but the laws of love. That those are the laws that are really operating. So, the course says, "The mind would not understand it is its own enemy."

[00:26:37]Most people don't understand that they're doing it to themselves. You tell somebody, "You always have a relationship that don't work." You're doing it to yourself.

[00:26:46]You always feel sad and unhappy. You're doing it to yourself.

[00:26:50]You always feel like you're the victim of stuff that's going on around you, you're doing it to yourself. It says it right here. The man would not understand it's its own enemy.

[00:27:03]See the semicolon? Now he's going to tell you what he means. That your mind attack There's a Put it this way.

[00:27:09]There's a part of the mind that attacks itself.

[00:27:13]And there's a part of the mind that wants to die.

[00:27:17]The Course in Miracles says something really radical.

[00:27:21]That in his little thing, that thing maybe you might have some resistance to this.

[00:27:26]But there's a part of you that wants to die.

[00:27:31]The Course in Miracles just straight up says it. You want to know where death comes from? It comes from the part of you that wants to die.

[00:27:38]Death isn't something that's thrust upon you.

[00:27:42]Nobody dies without their own consent to die at a soul level. They have completed what it is they chosen to experience in this dream in this life, and they're and it's time to go. Some people go through what we call old age. Some people go through what we call disease. Well, some people go through what we call car wrecks. Some people go through what we call being murdered. Some people go because they just decide that they want to go. But the But the truth is no one dies without their own consent at a soul level.

[00:28:14]And then the next level is nobody dies.

[00:28:20]They didn't die.

[00:28:22]You don't You haven't had one person that you care about that's not in the body that's dead.

[00:28:31]My mother isn't dead. My father isn't dead. My sister that made her transition is not dead. My brother who made his transition is not dead.

[00:28:44]What did they do?

[00:28:46]They laid their bodies down.

[00:28:51]I'm telling you the truth. This is what I would do every course class. I do not care anymore whether anybody resisted, don't want to hear it, then just don't watch me. Don't listen to me. You don't have to. It's okay. I'm good.

[00:29:05]But I want to hear the truth because I'm sick of the insanity that I'm seeing all around me in this world that I'm projecting from my mind. I've had So, I'm not going to think the way the world thinks. You know why? Because if I think the way the world thinks, then I'm going to have the experiences of the world, which the course says is ups and downs, joys and pains.

[00:29:30]And I have experienced that in my years on the planet. So, I know what thinking like the world does. It gives you the experience that we're having of separation in the world.

[00:29:41]So, I'm going to go with my creator loves me and my creator will take care of me and my creator loves me unconditionally and that I'm not a victim of anything that I've gone through in my life, that at some level I created it all, and that who I really am never dies, and that I don't have to I can reach a level of consciousness that I don't need medicine and don't need pills in order for me to be okay. Now, am I at that level of consciousness consciously yet?

[00:30:17]No.

[00:30:19]I'll take a Advil so fast that it'll make your head feel good if I got a headache.

[00:30:25]And the course says that's perfectly okay.

[00:30:27]That you It's okay for you to temporarily rely on external healing methods if you're not at the point that you can say "I'm ready to let this headache go" and you're instantly able to let it go. If you can't do that, then you don't believe you have that power yet, but you probably do believe it that something outside yourself will heal you. Whether whether it's a herb or whether it's a you know, a supplement or whether you think that it's something in the drugstore, the Course in Miracles says it's perfectly okay to rely on these external methods while you don't recognize the power of your mind yet. Okay?

[00:31:14]Um because it says you believe in external things more than you believe in your the power of your spirit right now.

[00:31:23]So, and here's another thing. If you're in constant pain in your body it's going to be very difficult to convince you that you're not your body and that you're more than your body.

[00:31:36]Because pain draws your attention to your body. So, you think, "Oh, I have this headache and since I have this toothache, I must be this body that has this toothache. So, I'm using that pain to make me one with my body." So, the Course says we use pain to make ourselves believe we're just one with our body. But, you know what's even better?

[00:32:04]You know what's even better?

[00:32:05]>> Relief from the Advil?

[00:32:07]>> Yeah, that's a good relief from the Advil. And and and what's even better to make you think you What do you think is even better to make you think you're a body?

[00:32:16]Pleasure.

[00:32:18]See, you go through pain, you're going to want to get rid of it.

[00:32:21]But, when you having some really good pleasure you don't want to stop that too quick.

[00:32:28]So it's not a sin, it's not physical pleasure is not a sin, physical pleasure is not a sin, physical pleasure is not a sin, and physical pleasure is more than sex.

[00:32:40]Physical pleasure can be Oh my God, it feels good to get this massage.

[00:32:45]Physical pleasure can be Oh man, you know I didn't know I'm going to my favorite restaurant today.

[00:32:50]Uh the pleasure I get from eating at Spice Room.

[00:32:53]Mm. Mm.

[00:32:54]See, pleasure also makes you identify with your body. That's what it said. The body is a mask that our mind holds up so that we don't think everything we're going through we're going through it because of our body. It's like, why do you go to work?

[00:33:13]Probably so that you can earn enough money so that you can pay your rent or house note to house what?

[00:33:23]Your body.

[00:33:26]Why are you trying to work? You're trying to feed your body.

[00:33:30]You're trying to house your body.

[00:33:33]What body do you You're looking for another body when you say you're alone.

[00:33:38]So, everything is geared to make us think we're separate from each other and that we're physical bodies.

[00:33:47]Which makes us believe we couldn't possibly be one with God. How can I be one with God and an unlimited spiritual being and I get and I get indigestion?

[00:34:02]How can I be an unlimited all powerful being and I just stubbed my toe and I'm hopping around for the next 2 hours?

[00:34:09]See, the body and identification with the body makes us forget our true spiritual identity.

[00:34:17]Does that make sense?

[00:34:20]I don't think I'm unlimited because the body is limited.

[00:34:25]The body is limited. If anybody says that the body is unlimited, they're in denial.

[00:34:32]Can your body walk through a wall?

[00:34:35]Your physical body.

[00:34:38]Is there Is there a limit to how much you can eat?

[00:34:41]Yeah.

[00:34:42]There's a limit to how far you can walk.

[00:34:45]Yeah. The body is a limit.

[00:34:48]It's not you.

[00:34:52]Uh I >> [clears throat] >> I know when I'm getting good cuz my ego want to try to mess with me being able to talk.

[00:35:00]>> [clears throat] >> Today is May 31st, 2026.

[00:35:05]And I wanted to let you know >> [clears throat] >> that during the month of June, July, and August, I'll only be doing Sundays at 1:00 once a month, which will be the second Sunday of the month.

[00:36:13]If you read the course like a magazine article, you won't retain anything probably that you just read.

[00:37:09]I'm going to now take a symbolic gesture that shows that I'm willing to not have any type of problem with my throat.

[00:37:21]The course calls it magic.

[00:37:25]And I am David Copperfield of the spiritual world.

[00:37:31]I am so powerful in my magic that I can make you think I'm not you. I can make you [clears throat] think I'm separate from you. I can make you think I'm a black guy named Earl Perty. This is magic. I'm really spirit. You are, too. You're not fooling me anymore. Not only that, you are me.

[00:37:51]And that's the big one to learn.

[00:37:53]You are Donald Trump.

[00:38:00]You are Earl Perty.

[00:38:04]You are Jesus.

[00:38:06]You're Buddha.

[00:38:11]You're the guy that robbed the bank.

[00:38:15]Everybody you see is you.

[00:38:20]Everything you see is you.

[00:38:23]You never see anything but yourself.

[00:38:27]Wow. This is the truth. You don't have to believe it. You don't have to accept it. So, the course says the mind would not understand its its own enemy and that the mind attacks itself and wants to die.

[00:38:44]So, it's from this your laws would save the body. It is for this, the things that I just told you, that you think you are a body. There are no laws except the laws of God.

[00:39:00]And what's the instruction?

[00:39:03]This needs what?

[00:39:06]Repeating over and over and over and over. What needs repeating over and over? I'm under no laws but God's laws. I'm under no laws but God's. I'm under no laws but God's. You are under no laws but God's laws. You are under no laws but God's laws. You are under no laws but God's.

[00:39:26]You are under no laws but God's. The only laws you are under living under is the laws of love. You only living under the laws of love. You only live under the laws of God. The only laws that really ruling you are the laws of love and you repeat it until you realize it applies to everything that you made in opposition to God's will.

[00:39:51]And what does the course call money and medicine and thinking you're not that you're alone unless you're with somebody? The course calls it magic.

[00:40:01]So, what's the What does the next sentence say? Your magic has no meaning.

[00:40:05]Your magic has no meaning. All the stuff that you're doing, that you think you're doing on the outer doesn't really mean anything because what it's meant to save doesn't You all you doing all this stuff to take care of yourself uh because you think you're a body, but do you know that the course teaches you that your body doesn't really exist?

[00:40:32]Your body doesn't really exist. And physicist will tell you that all the time that physical matter doesn't exist.

[00:40:47]>> We're not a body.

[00:40:48]Pure consciousness.

[00:40:49]>> That's right. We are pure consciousness.

[00:40:58]We are pure We're not regular consciousness.

[00:41:01]We are pure consciousness.

[00:41:03]We're PC.

[00:41:05]Right? So, the Course in Miracles says that only what is meant only what it is meant to hide will save you. Your spirit will save you. Your mind will save you. Your connection to love and God will save you. But your focus on the body as the focus of your healing will not save you.

[00:41:28]Thinking that it's your body causing its own disease or its own discomfort will not save you because the laws of God can never be replaced. So, what do we do today? It says, "Well, we will devote today when?"

[00:41:44]Today to rejoicing.

[00:41:47]I'm so happy that the laws of God are not being replaced by the ego and by man's ignorance and fears and projections and separation. I am so glad that I'm not ruled by the ego. I'm so glad that I'm not really separate from God. The course says you should rejoice that you're still under the the of love.

[00:42:11]That it's no longer a truth that you would hide. We realize instead that knowing that you're only under the God's laws, that you're under only under the creator's laws, that you're only under love's laws, that is a truth that will actually keep us free forever.

[00:42:35]So, you trying to tell me, Earl, that if I was to recognize I'm under no laws but the laws of abundance, that I'm under no laws but the laws of abundance, I'm under no laws but the laws of freedom, I'm under no laws but the laws of freedom, you're under no laws but the laws of health, you're under no laws but the laws of spirit. You mean if I was to recognize that and keep telling myself that over and over and until I realized it was true, that that would heal me on every level and start in my perception, it would start to heal everything in my life in my perception, that it should be something that I'm rejoicing about.

[00:43:17]Magic imprisons, believing in the ego, paying attention to the world's laws of separation, guilt, and grievances imprisons, but what do the laws of God What does the laws of God do?

[00:43:30]They make you free.

[00:43:34]So, the light, which is the truth, has come.

[00:43:38]So, how do you know that you're finally receiving the truth? You know you're receiving the truth because you recognize, you know what? There are no laws but God's. And since there are no laws but God's, the light has come. So, when the course says the light has come, it's really which is the next one of the earlier lessons or the next lesson.

[00:44:01]When it says the light has come, all it's saying is you recognize there is no laws but the laws. You recognize there's no love but God's love. You recognize that there's no truth but God's truth.

[00:44:12]When you get to the point that you don't believe there's anything but the higher power and the things that were created by the higher power, that's when you can say the light has come.

[00:44:24]And you will also realize it applies to everything you made. I love that, too.

[00:44:28]You know, it applies to everything. But the course says you only made one thing, fear.

[00:44:34]You've only made one thing, the idea of separation. You'll only Guilt is a made-up thing. There's no such There's no such thing as guilt. There's no such thing as sin. We made it up. If you are as God created you, how can you change what you are? You didn't create yourself, so you can't change yourself.

[00:44:49]What does that mean? It means you are innocent and that you are loved, that you are lovable, and that you are beautiful. You are eternal. You are powerful. You're not alone. And nothing can change that, no matter what you think.

[00:45:03]Which are the laws of fear?

[00:45:05]So, let's keep on going. So, we will begin the longer practice periods today with a short review.

[00:45:15]We're going to begin today with a short review.

[00:45:19]We will begin the longer practice periods today with a short review of the different kinds of laws that we have believed we must obey. So, let's review the kind of rules that we think we must obey. Are you ready?

[00:45:30]Okay. What are the rules that we think we must obey as human beings that think we're separate from God?

[00:45:36]Well, we believe we have to obey the laws of nutrition.

[00:45:41]We believe we must obey the laws of immunization.

[00:45:46]We believe we must obey the laws of medication. We believe we must obey the body the laws of the body's protection in innumerable ways.

[00:45:55]Then it goes, "But I want you to think a little further. You believe in the laws of friendship. You believe in the laws of good relationships. You believe in the laws of reciprocity. Perhaps you even think there are laws which set forth what belongs to God and what belongs to you.

[00:46:15]Because many religions have been based on what belong to God and what belongs to you.

[00:46:20]So these religions would save wouldn't save but damn in heaven's name. I I heard I I heard I heard about a lot of ugly things that could happen to me when I was growing up and I was in church.

[00:46:35]I don't know about you, but I did.

[00:46:37]Yet all these stuff that I've just mentioned, these laws of normal strains and the other laws you hold must be obeyed to make you save.

[00:46:45]Uh now, before you freak out, remember what I said. The Course in Miracles says it's okay to temporarily rely on external healing methods when you haven't gotten to the point that you realize who you are enough to to self-heal by letting the Holy Spirit heal you. So I am not saying that you don't uh pay attention to nutrition. I'm not saying that you don't pay at you don't you stop taking your medication. I'm not saying that uh that you stop doing the physical things that you're being told to do, going to your counselor, going to the doctor, going to your job, taking your vitamins because the Course in Miracles defines these things as symbolic gestures that you are doing to show that you have the willingness to be healed.

[00:47:40]All right. And guess what? If my body is temporary and I do really love myself, why wouldn't I want to do what was best for my body?

[00:47:50]Right? If I love myself and I deserve I want to deserve to have peace, why would I not let a money that I think I need come in?

[00:48:01]So, don't misperceive what I'm saying.

[00:48:03]I'm not saying that you shouldn't take care of your body, but you shouldn't go to the doctor, you shouldn't have counseling, you shouldn't do the shouldn't do your jogging, or anything else you think are your symbolic gestures that you need to do to show that you love yourself. And that you want your body to function in a healthy way, because that's still being created by your mind.

[00:48:22]That you're looking at your body in a way that you like for it to be healed and whole, it's still you using your mind in order to let your body be healed.

[00:48:34]But, do not judge yourself because in a negative way, if you're sick right now, or you're in lack right now, or it seems like you're lonely right now, do not judge yourself. You're still loved, you're still lovable, and you still deserve to have love.

[00:48:53]You dig it? I want you to hear me.

[00:48:57]I want you to hear me. You can have what you think of as the crappiest life in the world right now, and I want you to know that you're still going to be loved, you're still going to be supported, the universe will still, in this moment, give you the healing that you need to have in this situation.

[00:49:16]But, it would be good to know why you're in the situation in the first place, and you're in the situation that you're upset about in the first place, because you don't believe you're under no laws of God.

[00:49:26]So, let's go further.

[00:49:28]It says, There are no laws of God.

[00:49:36]So, what do you do today? Dismiss all foolish magical beliefs. What is the course called? Our focus on power, fame, money, physical pleasure, and all the stuff we think we're doing in the outer to take care of ourselves. A Course in Miracles calls it magical beliefs.

[00:49:52]And so, what do you do? I want you to hold your mind in silent readiness to hear the voice of God that speaks the truth to you.

[00:50:04]I'm about to share something with you that's off the chain.

[00:50:08]I'm going to share with you right now what the voice of God would be saying to you so that you won't claim you can't recognize when spirit is talking to you.

[00:50:23]I'm going to tell you from A Course in Miracles exactly what the voice of God would say to you. And if you're not listening to this, then you're listening to your ego. You're listening to the wrong voice.

[00:50:37]So, you would be listening to a voice, one who says what?

[00:50:42]There is no loss under the laws of God.

[00:50:48]Under the laws of God, payment is neither given nor received.

[00:50:53]Under the laws of God, exchange cannot be made. Now, when it says payment is neither given nor received under the laws of love, well, we are not existing under the laws of love yet at the conscious level, so it will look like sometimes you're going to have to pay for something.

[00:51:11]Okay?

[00:51:13]It's saying under the laws of God.

[00:51:16]Because under the laws of God, you know you're going to be sustained regardless of what anybody else does. There's no way in the world I could have survived doing A Course in Miracles full-time for almost 40 years unless it was something greater than Earl that was looking out for him because the people rightly come and go.

[00:51:37]So, if it was any particular person that was taking care of me and they left my experience, then I should not have been taken care of.

[00:51:45]But what people are a beautiful channels and I'm grateful for those who share with me because you're a channel for God's sustaining my ministry and what I'm doing. And that's so I'm super grateful to people who are financially generous to me because it makes a lot easier in the magical world to buy food if I have magical money.

[00:52:10]So, saying you appreciate me, I'm so happy to hear that. Saying you appreciate me and you allow yourself to share with me in a way that makes a real difference in my physical life, I thank you even more.

[00:52:23]Okay.

[00:52:25]The something to get into I'm what I'm learning that I'm under no laws but God.

[00:52:29]So, the Course in Miracles says, you'll be listening to a voice that says there's no laws under the laws of God, that payment is neither given nor received. You'll also be listening to the voice of God that's going to tell you exchange cannot be made and that there are no substitutes and that nothing is replaced by something else. See, under the laws of love, you don't replace one person with another person. You just include more and more people in your love.

[00:52:56]But over the years, I've seen people react to that statement with a lot of fear because the ego wrong mind is hopelessly confused and love with sex. So, as soon as you say you want to love more than one person or love everybody, people especially in this feels threatened.

[00:53:15]And then they think you're talking about the body cuz remember the ego is going to always put your emphasis on the body as being the uh the symbol of love.

[00:53:27]So, God's laws forever give and never take.

[00:53:36]So, God is never going to take anything away from you. Love is never going to take anything away from you. Somebody that loves you will never take anything away from you. Somebody that loves you is not going to take their love away from you.

[00:53:48]Somebody that loves you is not going to take their love away from you.

[00:53:52]Somebody that loves you is not going to take their love away from you.

[00:53:56]You can't lose under the laws of God.

[00:53:59]Somebody that loves you is never going to take something away from you.

[00:54:03]So, the course is God's laws, the laws of love, forever give and never take.

[00:54:09]So, I want you to hear the Holy Spirit who tells you this. I want you to realize how foolish are the laws you thought of hell, the world you thought you saw.

[00:54:17]Then he says, "I want you to listen even further."

[00:54:20]This this voice of God is going to tell you even more. It's going to the voice of love and God is going to tell you about how much of love that God has for you.

[00:54:29]A voice of God is going to tell you about the endless joy that God is offering you.

[00:54:35]The voice of God is going to tell you how much God is yearning for you because you were created as God's channel, you were created as God's channel for creation, but you have been denied to your higher power. You've been denied to God. You've been denied to your higher self.

[00:54:57]By what?

[00:54:59]What keeps What keeps you from being aware of your connection to unconditional love? What is it that keeps you unaware of your connection with God?

[00:55:09]Your Your what?

[00:55:10]>> Your programming.

[00:55:11]>> Your programming, absolutely. And what is that programming? One of the programming for many people is the belief in hell.

[00:55:18]If you believe in hell, then you are denying yourself to love. Stop believing in hell. Or you can believe in hell, but let's use the hell as the Course in Miracles defines it. The Course in Miracles defines hell as fear.

[00:55:34]And it also defines hell as here.

[00:55:40]The course says straight up, this is hell.

[00:55:45]People are worried about going to hell.

[00:55:47]The Course in Miracles says, you're already in hell.

[00:55:53]Trying to change it to heaven. Trying to change it to love. You're already in hell trying to get out of hell.

[00:56:01]Then people are worried to be in this hell. Well, there's at least 50 different ways that I can injure or kill myself just in this room.

[00:56:11]>> [laughter] >> I give you notice, guys, it's easy to die. Like there's only one way you get here. It appears like it's coming through a female body.

[00:56:19]But there's a zillion ways to get out.

[00:56:22]Could that be trying to tell us something?

[00:56:24]>> [laughter] >> Why is it so easy to leave?

[00:56:31]Think about it.

[00:56:32]Right in this room, if you wanted to take yourself out, it's so many different ways you could do it. So, obviously, leaving here is not something that God is trying to make sure we don't do or can't do.

[00:56:46]We're the one that's choosing to stay in the body.

[00:56:50]So, we're You know why? Because we're here to be channels of love. We're here to be examples of love. We're here to heal our one self with love and innocence.

[00:57:08]So, let us today open God's channels to God.

[00:57:18]So, how do you open your channel to love? How do you open your channel to your creator? He says, the way you do it is you let God's will, which is love and your happiness extend through us to all that is, which is God.

[00:57:40]So, we want creation, which is the extension of love. I'm giving you Course in Miracles definitions. So, when it says when it says thus is creation endlessly increased, it means thus is the extension of love endlessly increased and the voice of our creator will speak of this, the extension of love being increased to us and this and the voice of our creator is also going to speak of the joys >> [clears throat] >> of heaven.

[00:58:23]Another term for heaven is reality, which God's laws keep limitless forever.

[00:58:30]So, what do we do next?

[00:58:32]We will repeat today's idea. What is today's idea?

[00:58:36]There are no laws but God. How much will we How many times will we repeat there are no laws but God?

[00:58:44]Until we listen.

[00:58:47]And until we have understood there are no laws but love.

[00:58:52]Then, after you keep repeating it until you understand it, you know, there's just laws of happiness. There's only there are only laws of abundance. There are There are only laws of happiness.

[00:59:02]There are only laws of healing. There are only laws of joy. There are only laws of God. He says, "Then, we will tell ourselves as a dedication with which the practice period concludes."

[00:59:12]Notice that the Course in Miracles is giving us very specific things that we have to do if we want to be happy and healed and whole.

[00:59:19]I've been giving you one thing after another. You know what?

[00:59:22]That the truth is it didn't say analyze this, it said "Repeat, remember. Repeat, remember. Keep saying it over and over again. Keep saying it over and over again. Keep saying I'm under no laws but love of over and over again." Since repeat this dedication, notice that the Course in Miracles called you doing what the course in Miracles do as a dedication.

[00:59:46]So, when you say I'm under no laws but God's, that's you showing that you're dedicated to your happiness, that you're dedicated to love, that you're dedicated to peace. And do it how often? As often as possible.

[00:59:58]When? Today.

[01:00:00]How many times an hour should I say, "I'm under no laws but God's"? I should say that I'm under no laws but God's at least four or five times an hour. At least four or five times an hour. You should say I'm under no laws but the laws of love at least four or five times an hour.

[01:00:20]As well, you should say that as well.

[01:00:25]As in response to any temptation to experience ourselves as subject to other laws throughout the day. So, do you have the temptation during the day to think that you're sustained by something else other than God? Do you have times that come up in your day that it looks like uh you're not under the laws of God and that you're under the laws of the world and the ego? Well, the course says, "Say whenever you're tempted, I'm under no laws but the laws of God." I'm getting upset. I'm under no laws but the laws of God. I'm wondering if I can pay this bill. I'm under no laws except the laws of God. It looks like I got a back ache.

[01:01:00]I'm under no laws but the laws of God.

[01:01:03]And [clears throat] it is a statement He says, "Every time you're tempted to experience yourself as subject to other laws but God's throughout the day, it is our statement of what?

[01:01:17]Freedom from all danger. How many people out there saying they want to feel safe?

[01:01:22]How many of you are saying to yourself you want to be free from all danger and all tyranny? Well, the Course in Miracles just told you what to do. Say, "I'm under no laws but God's. I'm under no laws but God's." Tell yourself the truth and listen and pay attention and say, "God, what do you want me to do?

[01:01:40]Where do you want me to go? What do you want me to say? Who do you want me to say it to? What do you want me to do?

[01:01:46]Where do you want me to go? What do you want me to say? Who do you want me to say it to?" "I'm under no laws but God's."

[01:01:52]It is our acknowledgement that God is our creator and that we are saved. So, what is the answer to every problem that you think you have? We just heard it. What is the challenge? It's too plain and simple.

[01:02:10]>> Listen to it.

[01:02:11]>> Yeah.

[01:02:12]Just think about it.

[01:02:14]Only thing we're being asked to do is to say, "I'm under no laws but God's."

[01:02:19]until you realize you're under no laws but God's and also say it whenever you're being tempted to believe that something going on in your world is being caused by something outside yourself.

[01:02:31]The Course in Miracles is a challenge to teach because it's not asking us to do anything that we couldn't do today.

[01:02:39]And the ego, the part of us that's the wrong voice, it wants everything to be complicated because the more complicated it is, the least likely you are to do it.

[01:02:50]So, the Course in Miracles' very simplicity is the biggest challenge of the Course in Miracles because the ego, if I told you that you had to run around this whole block, a mile, 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening, then you would get more people who would be willing to do that than you would get people who would be willing to say, "I'm under no laws but God." and then accomplish just as much as the person running around the block.

[01:03:17]I remember when I first heard that it was my thoughts that was determining my body, I would come home from work, sit in my lounge chair, and mentally run around the block.

[01:03:28]I lost weight.

[01:03:31]Just as much weight as I saw people who were actually running around the block because it's my mind that determines the condition of my body. And every And the only thing that my body is ever reflecting is what? Love or call for love. Your body is only ever reflecting love or call for healing. Your body isn't guilty. Your body isn't guilty.

[01:03:54]Your body isn't bad. Your body doesn't make the decision for you ever.

[01:03:59]It's not your body that decides what you're going to eat. You decide what you're going to put in your body.

[01:04:06]You are not your body. You are free.

[01:04:09]You're still under the laws of God. So, the last prayer is what?

[01:04:16]I am under no laws but God's. It is our statement, our acknowledgement, that God is our creator, love is our creator, spirit is our creator, and that we, the children, the extension, the creation, the son of God, we are saved.

[01:04:42]So be it.

[01:04:45]So, [clears throat] don't forget. Listen to this at least four times. It's the repetition that produces the miracles, not your understanding.

[01:04:54]It's your recognition.

[01:04:57]Take a deep breath.
