The 2024 Democratic National Committee autopsy report, which was withheld for months before being released, concluded that Democrats were not negative enough about Donald Trump, but notably omitted any mention of Joe Biden's age, the lack of a primary, or the Gaza war's impact on swing states like Michigan, raising questions about the report's transparency and the DNC's leadership under Ken Martin.

The DNC is Covering Up a Massive 2024 MistakeAdded:
I think something might be going on with the Democratic Party. I I think I'm the first to say this, but I I actually I don't think they're doing very well. Oh, I'm so excited to make this video. We're going to talk all about some breaking news that came out yesterday about a report on the 2024 election that was being withheld by the Democratic National Convention. But after months of badgering, it was finally released to the public. And what they found in this report honestly shocked me really. And I think it's really starting to change the game for Democratic insiders within this party, especially going into 2026 and 2028. But I want to give you some context for this first so that you understand what's really going on here.
So, usually every time there's an election loss in modern American history, the losing party of that presidential election writes a report figuring out what exactly went wrong.
These are called autopsy reports, which I think is a wonderful name for this kind of thing. A really famous one came out in 2012. It was called the Growth and Opportunity Project. Now, for context, this came out after Mitt Romney lost to Barack Obama for his re-election campaign. And what this report found was basically that as the country was diversifying, as more women were voting, uh the Republican party would have to moderate and kind of appeal to the wants of those voters, namely by moderating on immigration. Now, did they listen to that report uh at all? No. I'm not saying these reports are always correct, but it gives a great insight into where the parties are and where they're pivoting after a major election loss.
Famously, in 2016, there was an autopsy report about the Democratic Party, uh about Hillary Clinton's loss to Donald Trump, right? And this report was held from the public. We were not allowed to see it. Now, there's a lot of inside baseball here, right? We're talking about Hillary Clinton in this case, and a lot of her buddies run the DNC. So, you can see why maybe she wouldn't want this report released. Obviously, in 2020, there wasn't really much of a report because uh according to Donald Trump and the Republicans, they did not lose that election, right? But that brings us to 2024. Now, the chair of the DNC, basically the head of the National Democratic Party, is a guy named Ken Martin. He was elected last year after the Democrats lost in the 2024 election.
And a big thing that he ran on was referencing that 2016 report that was held from the public. Ken Martin had a huge problem with this, right? He promised that the 2024 autopsy would be released to the public if he was elected chair, which is why it was a huge deal a few months ago when he said that he would not actually be releasing the 2024 report. And the craziest part is he didn't give a reason for why he wasn't releasing it. Really, this immediately led to a bunch of anger and and speculation from party insiders, right?
What could this report be hiding?
Commentators like Hassan for example, speculated that this was because there was a huge revelation in this report that the war in Gaza had divided Democrats so much in key swing states like Michigan, which has the highest Arab-American population in the country, to the point where they lost the election because of low turnout from their own party. Others speculated that it would be hampering on Joe Biden. And so the party didn't want to cover that again because they had already moved on from Joe Biden, who I'm sure you already know this, but uh decided to stay on the ticket for the 2024 election until he was forced out by the party for being uh way too old. Now, this was making a bunch of negative headlines about the Democratic party at exactly the point when Donald Trump was beginning to crater in popularity. Right? We're talking about the Iran war starting.
We're talking about oil and gas prices going up, inflation going up. So Ken Martin decided to do a really genius move and go on Pods Save America, a liberalleaning independent news podcast hosted by John Favro. And wow, it's hard to describe uh what a cluster fire this was for Ken Martin. Please go watch the video for yourself up here. I had the displeasure of listening to the whole thing and I have never been angrier when folding laundry in my life. This was basically a 30-minute interview of Ken Martin just gaslighting John Favro. John Favro kept coming back with the quote of Ken Martin saying he would release this report and Ken Martin basically said why do you want the Democrats to lose right he said over and over again right this was his quote there is no smoking gun in the report and that Democrats shouldn't really worry about what's in there right that was not a good enough answer for John Favro he kept hammering in on this and Ken Martin continued to dig his heels in the ground now John Favro went on to talk about in future podcasts about how Ken Martin had been really rude to him at actual public events before and after this in a way that was pretty unprofessional anyways Anyways, that's not important. But after months of this badgering and back and forth, Ken Martin finally released the report yesterday morning. So, what did the report actually say? Very little.
I finally got a readthrough of this report and I find it really funny how at the top of every page there is a big disclaimer in red text that says, "This document reflects the views of the author, not the DNC. The DNC was not provided with the underlying sourcing, interviews, or supporting data for many of the assertions contained herein and therefore cannot independently verify the claims presented. This was paired with a public apology by Ken Martin, basically saying he should have released this way earlier. Yeah, should have done that. Okay, let's break down what exactly did this report say. The underlying takeaway behind everything else in this report is that the Democrats were not negative enough on Donald Trump. Basically, it asserts that Democrats and the Harris campaign believed that Donald Trump's negatives had already been baked in. Right? The public was aware of the negatives of Donald Trump. Right? January 6th was a known entity amongst other things.
Right? This video would go on forever if I started naming everything. But it also specifically called out an ad against the Harris campaign uh called Harris is for they them. It was effectively a clip of Kala Harris advocating for sex changes being funded by government money uh for transgender criminals in the United States. I you know this has been talked about to death in these circles, right? And like fair criticism, right?
But there was not one mention of Joe Biden or his age in this report at all about the damage that that did to Harris's campaign once she ran on the ticket. There was no mention about the lack of a primary in the party. There was not a single mention about Gaza at all in this report. And I have to say from reading this I I I mean maybe I'm having some psychosis here, but I really think some parts of this report were written with AI. I'm I'm not entirely sure about that, but it I mean read it for yourself. Let me know what you think in the comments down below. And the statistical analysis behind a lot of this stuff really really does seem shoddy. Now, this report was made by Paul Rivera, who is a friend of Ken Martin. Paul Rivera is effectively a consultant for this kind of thing, right? And there's uh reporting in the CNN article that broke this story saying that he presented uh some of these findings in a PowerPoint to powerful members of the Democratic party on a retreat. And that one person on the retreat went on record saying that one page of analysis dealing with a bunch of percentages for different voters had numbers and percentages involved that added up to quote well over 100%.
Anyway, that one's more anecdotal, but it's a bad report. After all of this, it's really a nothing burger. Now, to me, this is a sign of a growing problem within the Democratic National Committee, that is Ken Martin. If I were incentivized to keep the DNC as healthy as possible, I would probably advocate for firing Ken Martin as chair of the DNC. As we already talked about, this whole scenario was a bunch of lying by Ken Martin for nothing. You go back and watch some of these interviews with John Fabro and Ken Martin talking about this report before it's released. It is straight up gaslighting and lying to members of the Democratic party from Ken Martin. It makes him look like he thinks you're stupid, that he thinks we're stupid, and that we don't deserve to be in the no on this kind of thing, right?
I think it comes across as snobby and elitist in the kind of way that only Democrat establishment people can seem to do. I I think this and other reporting seems to suggest that Martin is very combative and and very stubborn.
And this comes into effect for his main day-to-day job here, that is fundraising. Now, for reference here and a little educational lesson on how this all works, right? Each party, the Republicans and the Democrats, have sort of three branches for main political fundraising. I'll talk about it on the Democratic side here, but just know there's a Republican counterpart as well. On the Democratic side, you have two groups. The DC C, that is the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. They raise money for Democrat House candidates. There's the DSCC, that is the Democrat Senate Campaign Committee, that deals with fundraising for Democratic Senate candidates, both of which are raising pretty similar money to their Republican counterpart organizations. But then there's the National Committee, right? The DNC, the RNC. Now, as of right now, the latest reported numbers we have is the DNC has about -3 million on hand once you take away any sort of debt that they're leveraging right now. Meanwhile, on the Republican side, they have about $123.9 million on hand. I feel like it doesn't have to be said. Uh, that's a lot.
That's a lot of money. Now, you may be asking yourself, why is this such a big problem? What does the DNC do in my day-to-day life that matters? I would say that the DNC has one big role that if you are a Democrat in any way, shape, or form, or you want a Democrat to win in 2028, uh, that matters. The DNC effectively runs Democratic primaries for president. So if you have an organization where there is a comper, a weak leader like Ken Martin at the helm, you could see a scenario where the Democratic National Committee is unable to form a debate with all of the Democratic candidates. Maybe more progressive candidates like AOC, who might run for president in 2028, decide not to go to a DNC sanctioned debate.
This would be chaos, and this would spell bad news for Democrats in the general election if they can't get their house in order. So what is the path for removing Ken Martin from this position?
Well, the chair of the DNC is elected by about 450 members of people made up by state party chairs and other DNC members, which in itself is maybe a a a big problem, right? But that group of about 450 members can actually remove Ken Martin with a simple majority vote.
But I will say this has not happened really in modern American history. I think a good example of what ends up happening was uh Debbie Scholes in 2016.
Now, she ran the DNC going into the 2016 election, but actually resigned uh right before the DNC 2016 convention happened that summer. This was because a bunch of Wikileaks emails of hers had released that painted her in a very bad light.
So, she decided to resign before a vote came to the floor. Sort of a pressured resignation. And Ken Martin has already pissed off a lot of people inside of this group. I should say a big reason you see this funding gap is because Ken Martin actively outed and was combative with major donors to the Democratic National Convention when he ran for chair and has since not mended any of those relationships. We're also seeing David Hog who was elected vice chair at the same time Ken Martin was elected chair calling for his resignation yesterday. Now David Hog is a Democratic activist, right? He was a student at Parkland High School during the shooting in 2018 and has since become a huge progressive activist within the party.
And as sort of an olive branch to that growing young progressive movement within the party, he was granted the vice chair position in the DNC. But last year, he was promptly fired. This was because he was doing a bunch of fundraising for progressive candidates against establishment candidates across the country in Democratic primaries. So, now that David Hog is fully doing that outside of the DNC, he is publicly calling for Ken Martin's resignation over this report, saying, quote, "Ken Martin should resign and the DNC should elect a new chair who demonstrates competence, creativity, moral clarity, and a relentless commitment to actually changing the broken Democratic Party brand." He called the delayed release of these findings quote a demoralizing joke and said quote it's clear that Chair Ken Martin has lost the confidence of his staff supporters and most importantly millions of Americans counting on the DNC to help Democrats win up and down the ballot in 2026 and 2028. Now, I do want to give you the other side of this coin here. Ken Martin is not all bad, right? I was actually in support of him becoming chair against the other candidate uh last year. So, before becoming the DNC chair, Ken Martin was actually the head of the Minnesota Democratic Party there. And in case you don't follow uh Minnesota politics, that state over the last 15 years has kind of become a real powerhouse for testing progressive legislation on a state level, arguably one of, if not the most progressive states in the country on a lot of new interesting ideas. And Ken Martin was a big reason for advocating for a lot of that, right? Ken Martin also has been advocating for something called his 57 state solution. Basically what Ken Martin is saying is that you need to fund all 50 states and seven, you know, other municipalities in this country to support Democratic candidates across the board, right? That previous heads of the Democratic party have kind of written off uh very red states. But Ken Martin is kind of bringing in this idea that Howard Dean had for the party back in 2004, right? Which I've talked about in videos on my main channel and that I'm a huge advocate for that you need to rebuild the Democratic brand in these states that have been seen as lost for the Democratic Party. that it's sort of the pathway to long institutional change. Really, if you want any chance of winning things like the Senate, you you need these rural states. And I think Ken Martin's right to advocate for this kind of thing. Ken Martin even says the reason we're looking at that negative $3 million funding number is because they're taking out loans to invest money early into these lower rung states for the Democrats. But what I keep going back and forth on is the fact that Ken Martin is still a liar and he's a bad politician and he clearly hasn't kept uh his house in order. And so what I'm going back and forth on is whether or not the benefits of Ken Martin's organizational style have conflicted too much with his inability to form any sort of consensus within the Democratic National Committee. Anyway, I would love to know what you think of all of this down below. I think this is a really interesting topic, right? We don't usually look at the inside baseball of this kind of thing within the party itself, but I think this report is a very clear sign that there is something structurally wrong uh with the Democratic party right now. So yeah, I'd love to know what you think down below.
I'm going to be on a trip uh these next 10 days. Uh by the time this posts, I'm already gone driving out east to uh New Mexico, but I will be back very soon.
And I have a couple more videos that I filmed that will be posted over the next couple days or the next week or so.
Okay, anyways, I will see you very soon.
Bye.
