Do you know the Monsaving Looney Party have said that there should be an immigration policy which is that immigration desks should be manned by GPS receptionists because they wouldn't let anybody come in. Okay. In the next couple of minutes, I'm going to give you the most egregious example I can think of of government waste and stupidity uh just so that you can tell people about it. It's a story of the guards that guard the guards. Hello everyone, this is Andre Walker. Thanks so much for watching this video. It is illustrative of the problems that Nigel Farra, that Rert Lo, that Nick Tankone, that Kem Bay will have to deal with uh if and when we get a decent patriotic prime minister.

So in Windsor we have uh the the uh commanderin-chief of the British military king Charles III. We all know that. And he has his castle. Now many people know that uh Windsor Castle is to guard if you like the west of uh the Tempames and uh the Tower of London is to guard the east both built by the Normans after the invasion of 1066. And so effectively Windsor Castle is a fortress outside London for the protection of the king. It doesn't feel like that now but that is of course what it is. And it is guard GUARDED BY THE GUARDS REGIMENT. Now they are the colream guards. They are the Welsh guards, the Scots Guards, and the Irish Guards. And they rotate round uh depending on where they're going to be.

[00:01:51]Some sometimes in Oldenshot, sometimes they're at Bookingham Palace. So, every day or every other day, there is a changing of the guard. So, WHAT HAPPENS IS THE guards go from the guards uh the guard's um barracks to change the guard at Windsor Castle. Got it? And they are the guards. But because they're uh soldiers on the streets of Windsor, they don't have ammunition in their guns. So just in case there's an attack on them, the Temps Valley Police uh deploy armed guards to guard the guards. That is to say that Temps Valley Police firearms officers guard the guards. So just to be clear, the guards that guard the king are guarded themselves. Okay? And we got that and that all makes sense. Now in order to shut the street they need to deploy uh some police constables because they have the power to shut the street.

[00:02:46]So the street is guarded by police constables who guard the firearms officers who guard the guards uh who guard the king. Okay. Now, because of the fact that people are milling around, uh, Temp's Valley also deploys PCSOs and what they do is they help guard the guards that shut the street, who guard the guards with the guns, who guard the guards that guard the king. And then in order to ensure that there are enough people on the ground, the Royal Bora of Windsor Maiden Head deploys its own stewards. And in a sense they are guarding the PCSOs who are guarding the peaceful people at the GATES WHO ARE GUARDING THE FIREARMS OFFICERS WHO ARE GUARDING the guards. And here is the most extraordinary bit of it all. None of them are guarding the king because years ago the whole system was changed so that the royalty protection division of the Metropolitan Police are the people that actually guard the king. So there are guards who guard guards who guard guards who guard guards who guard guards and none of those guards are guarding the actual king of England.

[00:03:53]There are barracks full of royal guards who do not royal guard. It is just absolute madness. And why it has come about is because of the same thing that has happened time and time again in this country. You know decisions and decisions are layered on top of each other. The first decision, we don't want soldiers with ammunition on the street.

[00:04:17]Okay. Next decision, well, because of concerns about terrorist attacks, we need armed guards for them. And you get into a situation where you've got, you know, six different types of guards guarding nobody.

[00:04:29]And when you go right across this country, you start to see more and more examples of this. David Starky talks about the fact that the whole system is designed to be dysfunctional. And I'll tell you why. Because if you think about it in a democracy uh you are governed by uh you know the people you elect in a uh government of experts well you know we've always said this decision is far too important for politics. We need the experts. Experts are a a significant knowledge in a subject but they're also obsessives. Nothing wrong with being an obsessive. I imagine you're fairly obsessed with doing your job right at work. I imagine you're fairly obsessed with being a parent. We're all obsessed with certain things that makes us great.

[00:05:12]But what happens is each individual quango is full of absolute learners who are obsessed with achieving their small aim. which is why we end up in a position with Natural England where you have a hundred million pound bat tunnel uh at HS2 because they are charged with protecting the natural environment and the people on the board do not have the sanity to recognize£100 million a disgraceful figure to pay for uh you know a load of bats similarly if you want an example in Windsor there's a guy called Mr. Raina Colin Raina he's the second biggest land owner in Barkshshire after after the royal family his family have been putting fertilizer onto their fields in the town of Combrook and Rasbury for hundreds of years as a result of this uh the uh the tributaries to the temps silt up. So they have been dredging these tributaries for free for 200 years. 20 years ago the environment agency came along and said that that was killing the fish and needed to stop as a result now uh comb and rais regularly flood and the environment agency said the reason is global warming no it's not the reason is literally that rainer farms have been causing this problem for 200 years and have been dealing with it for free but actually the environment agency are delighted when there's a flood because then they can say it's all to do with global warming. Democracy is not perfect and accept it's not perfect.

[00:06:44]But what you have to have and what it delivers is balance. If you look at the corona virus lockdown, the big issue was we were only listening to scientists.

[00:06:54]Now scientists can tell you how to stop uh the the virus spreading and they may or may not be right. I think they were probably largely correct. But scientists don't take into account the fact that there is damage to the economy. They're not going to take into account the fact that shutting schools is damaging to education simply because that it's not their area of interest. When we see democracy to people who are just bureaucrats, you start having a problem.

[00:07:21]And let me tell you something else for those younger viewers out there. Not many on this channel if I'm being totally honest. Don't want to be rude.

[00:07:28]Um but when I was at school um we were doing our A level in history and we were learning about France and about how in order to uh look at uh in order to deal with French society had this bourgeoa petty bourgeoa and all I can't remember all the list whatever it was and the bureaucracy and we were kind of quite confused. We were going, "What do you mean the bureaucracy?" And and the teacher taught us that in France in of itself, in order to run the country, you have to persuade the civil servants to actually agree with you and they have their own agenda and they will attempt to work against you. This to British school children was completely mad. And yet under Gordon Brown, the civil service became their own legal entity.

[00:08:16]And we know that they will work against the government. It's time to bring some common sense to all of this. I will tell you the solution to the guards leading the guards and the guards and the guards and guards is to have the Welsh guards, the Irish guards, the Scots guards and the Welsh and the Colston guards actually guard the king because that is their actual job. And some of them can be bodyguards and others can guard specific buildings and we just go back to that. And they carry ammunition and that and you know what? If somebody tries to blow them up, they get shot.

[00:08:48]done. Right? That is the sensible solution to the situation because otherwise the example I gave to you, amusing as it is, is pouring millions and millions down the drain. And I guarantee you the example of the guards and the guards and the guards and the guards and the guards and the guards of the king, um is not the most expensive example. It's just an amusing one that I happen to see. The real problem here is every government department is fighting against itself. Everything costs 50 times as much to do as it would do in another country. And that is not only debilitating our country, but it's also costing you a fortune in taxes.
