Coalition governments require delicate balancing of diverse political factions, and when leaders attempt to appease too many conflicting groups simultaneously, the coalition becomes fragile and prone to collapse, as demonstrated by Mark Carney's Liberal government losing 14 MPs over the Alberta pipeline deal.

Carney Could Lose 14 MPs Over Alberta Deal; Here's Why People Are UnhappyAñadido:
14 Liberal MPs have turned on Mark Carney after his controversial Alberta deal. Perpoliov is planning to run a campaign of hope in Alberta to restore national unity.
>> I want a strong Alberta within a united Canada.
>> And did CBC take it too far? The RCMP is now investigating a so-called prank show after apparently it was designed to humiliate RCMP members and veterans. But before we get into all of that, if you love this country, you end up enjoying this video, and you believe God firmly has his hand over this nation, feel free to hit that subscribe button and like the video. Now, let's get into our first story of your Friday Dominion Watch Report. So, 14 Liberal MPs have now written an open letter against Mark Carney's Alberta deal that involves over the the pipeline that it involves.
First, we had those two MPs that are leaving this summer. One of them being Nate Erskin Smith, who I made a video about over his uh provincial Ontario Liberal politic political aspirations.
And then you had Steven Gibo who said he was openly reconsidering his political future after this Alberta deal over this pipeline. And then a couple days ago on the 20th, we saw Mark Carney hold an emergency press conference with David Eie, the premier of BC because he has also been against this pipeline deal.
And now 14 MPs are in open rebellion against Mark Carney because of this pipeline. I've been saying this for some time and I know that there's some other commentators that have as well, but Mark Carney has what's called a very fragile coalition of support. It may be very large, but it has to be handled very delicately or else it's all going to fall apart. I would say the big three groups of this coalition are the anti-Trump elbows up liberals, the business build Canada strong liberals, and you have the environmentalist um green liberals. And the only reason they're there is because nobody votes for the Green Party. And Mark Carney has been trying to balance all of these groups for the past year, but as we see, it's slowly starting to unravel or I guess very quickly starting to unravel.
We saw with Brian Molrron in the 80s, he also built up a very, very large and impressive, but ultimately very fragile coalition of support. He won in 1984 the most amount of seats any party in Canadian history has ever won at 211 seats. And then in 1993 his party only won two just 9 years later because he could not keep his coalition of v voters together and especially in that last year or two before the 1993 election things really fell apart. So all it takes is a year or two for things to unravel. And I think that's exactly what we're seeing happen to Mark Carney.
And we're seeing this because Mark Carney made this deal to appease separatists in Alberta, but also to appease the business liberals of his caucus and the business liberals of his voter base. But in doing so, he has lost the environmental part of his voter base. And maybe for good. We don't know yet. Guess we'll have to see how he handles it going on from here. But hey, if you want to be up to date on all things polit politics, feel free to hit subscribe. But to be honest, this probably won't even appease the people he was trying to appease anyway because this pipeline, if it even does get built, which I don't think it will given the fact that he's basically losing like 15 14 MPs now over it.
I don't think it's going to get built.
But even if it does, it's not going to start getting built until September of 2027. So even the business liberals and the separatists are looking at this like, uh, what the heck? They'll be in fast forward a year from now, they're going to be like, uh, Carney, where's this this pipeline that you you promise so boldly?
That's even that's that's even assuming Marney is even still in office in a year, which at this rate given the last couple uh pieces of news I've covered in the last few things that have been coming out, it's looking less and less likely. The fact is is that Canada has the cleanest energy in the world, some of the cleanest energy in the world.
We have an abundance of resources. We are in a place where we need a pipeline. The economic relief that it would provide would be phenomenal for our country. And we have some of the cleanest energy in the world. We do not need to worry about environmental impact in Canada. We are some of the low we have one of the lowest polluting countries in the world.
And I'm I'm I'm big I hate pollution.
I'm big anti-pol pollution, whatever you want to call that. But the fact of the matter is is that we have very clean energy. It's incredibly safe and we need the economic relief. We need the economic relief. On top of that, there is no evidence that the planet has significantly gotten warmer or uh our weather events have gotten significantly more crazy over the course last 100 years. In fact, according to NOAA data uh available publicly through extremeweatherwatch.com, the highest recorded temperature in Vancouver last year in 2025 uh was actually 5° colder than the highest recorded temperature in Vancouver in 1925.
And Toronto for comparison was uh only increased 1.5° the from 1925 100red years ago. So, look, I don't think there's any conservative out here that's or any pro pipeline even person that's pro pollution, but economically it's the smartest thing to do to provide relief to our people. And the the the risks are being incredibly exaggerated by media liberal talking points who don't want to implement these policies because they want to frankly keep you poor. so they can continue to make people feel more apathetic, feel more like things just can't get done and yada yada and people disengage and that only benefits them.
That only keeps them in power. That's why I started this channel. I've always said if this channel has a motto, it's knowledge is power. And I want to educate people on what's actually going on to inspire people to actually make a difference because one of the establishment's best tactics is apathy.
And they ach and they achieve apathy through fear-mongering, through lies, through and ultimately through through policies that keep you poor, that keep you powerless, that keep you disengaged.
And Carney continues to delay pipeline expansion despite its obvious economic benefits because he would rather use the prospect of a pipeline to as a political tool to to to play games with his his cabinet with his supporters. He would rather use it to play games than actually get things done. But when you would try to uh uh appease too many people, eventually none of them will be satisfied. It reminds me of something um reform UK leader Nigel Farage said in an interview once that people are tired of unifiers. What we need is someone who's going to get in there and do the right thing. And when this is what happens when you try to be a unifier and you try and specifically try and unify too many people, at least as far as politics goes. And I believe in unity to a certain extent. There needs to be some level of unity obviously for any thing to work. So I'm a federalist. I think Canada needs to be unified. But on the contrary, when it comes specifically to the prospect of political parties, when you try and build too broad of a coalition, you start getting people that are on completely opposite ends of the spectrum politically.
You get problems. It becomes almost impossible to keep them together. and you'll eventually be where Mark Carney is right now. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Stuck between two bad options. Stuck stuck between bad and worse. But speaking of national unity, our second story of today, Conservative leader Pierre Polyv is running a campaign of hope in Alberta very soon to try and keep this country together. I'll go ahead and play the clip so you can hear the man yourself.
>> So, I'm a strong Canadian federalist, a proud Albertan, and a proud Canadian. I want a strong Alberta within a united Canada. All Conservatives will be campaigning for Canadian unity in Alberta and potentially, we hope not, but potentially in Quebec as well if if the separatists win there. Alberta deserves a fair deal in this country, which means that we unblock the resources. Uh we allow the oil and gas sector to grow. we get the federal government off the backs and out of the way of Alberta workers and small businesses so the province can prosper.
Uh reverse the gun grab and other unnecessary federal liberal irritants.
But all for the purpose of you making our country more united, more affordable, and uh more strong. Now, >> I've seen some critics say that this could affect Pierre Paula's personal popularity in the province negatively.
And while I I I suppose that's a possibility, um I think it could also just as it's equally likely it could just improve his popularity. I think it's equally likely he could get more popular in the province depending on how he runs it, depending on if it's a successful campaign, depending on where um where opinion public opinion in Alberta swings in the next couple months. It all depends. And to say like, oh, it's going to affect his his personal popularity there negatively. So certainly, you're not really basing that on anything. It's possible, but I mean, so is the exact opposite. So in in a sense, I guess it's like why are we even talking about it? If both are if two extremes are equally possible, why are we even talking about it? Because clearly that show clearly that shows that there's just not enough data to know what's going to happen yet. The last opinion poll I saw showed that Alberta separatism is only around 30%.
Uh in Canadian law, in order for a province to have a su successful referendum that then moves on to the House of Commons, it needs to be I believe I believe the phrase is it has to be a clear a clear majority of people. So it's it's pretty vague. Um, I know it's it's sometimes it's interpreted as like twothirds. Sometimes it's, you know, um, I don't know how specifically they're going to do in that referendum, but that's that's what I have read about what it says in Canadian law. Needs to be a clear majority. So, at the current rate, it's looking like the referendum vote will fail, but you never know. And our last story today, wow, we got three heavy hitters today. Three massive stories today. And this last one is no different. The CBC, the state funded media has officially entered the movement of it's just a prank, bro.
I joke, but it's it's it's not funny at all. Actually, what's happened, the CBC has basically been running a show recently where they have invited certain people, mostly RCMP members, RCMP veterans, but I know that I've heard stories of other uh journalists and writers who have been invited on the show as well. It has not aired. It's not an aired show, so I can't play anything. And even if it was, I wouldn't because it's pretty evil what they've been doing. I wouldn't want to show that. Um, but essentially they've been fake these fake they've been faking interviews with these RCMP veterans, with RCMP members, with whoever people that disagree with their political views, what have you, setting up these fake interviews that are solely intended to mock them and humiliate them.
But it has completely backfired because now the National Police Federation on behalf of 20,000 RCMP members that it represents is launching an inquiry in an inquiry into the matter. And not just that, they are calling on the Liberal government to take immediate federal action as well, which puts Mark Carney, as we've been talking about, in yet another position where he's between a rock and a hard place. Does he choose his beloved CBC, which if you don't know, has been uh getting, I think, $1.4 billion of funding per year. I think that was just last year. I think it was a little over 1 billion a year under Trudeau and that number's only gone up under Carney.
So, does he choose his beloved CBC or does he side with the RCMP?
And another, I suppose, uh, difficulty for him in siding with the RCMP is that the Conservatives have also been calling on action for this. They've also called for the federal government to take action on this as any partisansship aside, any political party should because this is pretty messed up what CBC has done and anyone in their right mind would want the government to take action on this and follow the direction of the National Police Federation. So according to the National Police Federation uh itself uh this is coming from a website associated with the organization.
RCMP members were invited under the false pretense that they would be taking part in a program recognizing and honoring their service. Instead they were drawn into a production built on fabricated identities and a hoax that condemned the RCMP and by extension its members while disparaging their service to Canadians. In short, participants were deceived, insulted, and publicly shamed at the expense of Canadian taxpayers. You know, it's not looking good when uh the National Police Federation has that to say about something you've done.
So, for many that have been kind of tricked into participating in this, they said the experience is deeply distressing.
Uh these are individuals who have spent decades sacrificing their own safety and well-being while responding to traumatic events. Um their selfless acts often lead to occupational stress injuries they carry beyond their service. Being deceived, ambushed on camera and subject subjected to potential public humiliation is not aligned with Canadians deep respect for those who serve and risks compounding existing trauma which is unacceptable.
and the NPF president and CEO uh Brian Savv called this a profound breach of trust.
Um so this is not looking good. In other words, and it's pretty insane. I I did not think that this that this day would come. Um I mean I wouldn't even have even known that this ever could have been a day that could have come. So, I wouldn't even have been expecting this day to come, let alone thought it ever would. Uh, it's pretty nuts.
They've fabricated this prank show to kind of be I don't know in their own statement about it they called it something to the effect of a way to reframe in a comical light the uh the the the hardships that indigenous people have faced past and present. And I know they also invited uh someone on there as well, a couple people who are experts in history. Um an author, there's a report of an author going on this fake CBC show who wrote a book about Johnny A. McDonald only for them to kind of use the interview to make fun of him and paint Johnny McDonald as a racist. This is pretty evil. Uh like almost cartoonishly evil. This is pretty messed up. This situation is I mean it speaks for itself really. I I I can't really comment on it. It's it it really just speaks for itself. I would say that Mark Carney does need to take action and follow the direction of the National Police Federation in all the steps that they laid out. He he needs that is his responsibility as a public servant and as prime minister. That is 100% his responsibility and he should do that as immediately as possible. He should have did that before I even started working. He should have done that yesterday. Uh it should have already been done, but as far as I'm aware, he hasn't. if he wants to sponsor this this media uh via taxpayer dollars, I disagree with that. But if he wants to do that, then then the responsibility that comes with that is making sure that that that the content that's being produced is I mean worthwhile, make sure it's good, let alone make sure it's not actively harmful. That should be the bare minimum. Despite all of the craziness going on in the world, I still have hope. I still have hope that Canada's best days are yet to come. Why? Because my hope is not anchored in the things of this world. My hope is anchored in the things of God. I have my hope anchored in Jesus Christ. And if you firmly believe that God has his hand over this nation as I do, feel free to hit subscribe.
But remember that covenant does not negate responsibility and we still have to do our part. So, I always encourage you guys that if you care about any one of these issues to write to your MPs, write to your senators respectfully and let them know. Volunteer for any political causes that you feel are important. I highly recommend as somebody who has volunteered. I highly recommend it. Being able to just be there and bond with like-minded people is it it is it sounds cliche, but it is really a nice experience and I highly recommend it if you're at all uh interested. And as always, I'll catch you guys in the next video.
