The video uses sensationalist rhetoric to expose a genuine legal double standard where politicians can undermine national foreign policy under the shield of "oversight." It highlights a troubling reality where the political class enjoys immunity for actions that would lead to criminal prosecution for any private citizen.

Democrat ACCUSED OF TREASON | Tim PoolAdded:
This video is actually fairly shocking and I'm one to often push back on Trump and many conservatives when they accuse Democrats of treason. But I have to say outright, first, I'm not a lawyer, but I have done a cursory search of the internet, which is good enough. But in all seriousness, Rep. Primila Japal says that she's been in contact with countries to assist Cuba during sanctions and embargo. Cuba is officially listed as an adversary of the United States. This sounds like overt treason. I try to be careful because this is very important to understand.
Conservatives often come out and say, "Oh, they're traitors." Treason in civilian law is listed is is is defined as aiding and abetting an enemy in a time of war. An adversary, a known adversary. So if you're in the United States and you advocate for the US's destruction, that's sedition. That is actions or advocacy to the destruction of the US government or of this country.
Treason is when you betray your country to someone else. Now, there is uh military sedition, which the penalty is death, which is why it's very important to understand. I said we we got to make sure we're clear on this one. But I'm going to play this video for you and then I show you the details. It very much does sound like based on what she's saying that she's communicated with nations about supplying oil to Cuba.
Cuba again, a known adversary of the United States. This is insane. This is insane that we are at this point. Now, I'm going to play this video for you and then of course I've got uh some some data on the official designation of Cuba. But let's get to that news so you can actually hear what she says right from her own mouth. Check this out.
>> In January, um Trump issued an executive order threatening tariffs on any country supplying fuel to Cuba. This was this January, just a few months ago. and oil shipments from Venezuela, that's where Cuba had been getting its oil, were halted after the US operations to kidnap Nicholas Maduro.
Since January, only one Russian tanker of oil has made it to Cuba. In fact, it landed just a couple of days before I landed. and one tanker has enough oil basically for 10 to 14 days of Cuba's oil needs. So, it's a very limited amount of time. Now, Russia has said they're going to send another tanker.
Um, I was in conversations with the ambassadors uh from Mexico and some other places and I know other countries in Latin America trying to figure out how to get oil there. But it is a crisis beyond imagination. Just this past Friday, on May 1st, Trump signed a broad executive order that widens sanctions and allows for new penalties similar to what we have for Iran and Russia against foreign banks and firms that are dealing with Cuba. And it also reinforces the ban on US tourism. I have called these sanctions an economic bombing of the infrastructure of Cuba. It is illegal.
It is against the war. We've been talking about this in Iran obviously to bomb the infrastructure of any country that is against international law. This is essentially doing the same thing. It is bombing the infrastructure of Cuba with economic sanctions that essentially ensure that the infrastructure >> Okay, let's let's break this down.
First, you got to understand that Cuba is a formal adversary of the United States. So, let me scroll up here and uh here's Grock. Yes, Cuba is officially considered an adversary of the US, explicitly listed as a foreign adversary under US regulation 15 CFR 791.4.
Now, what she said, you got to read between the lines a little bit. That's fair. She said she's been in communication with Mexico and other other nations about supplying oil.
Cuba's under heavy sanctions and embargo. You can't do this. Not only is it generally the violation of the Logan Act for a rep to go around the executive branch to go and try and negotiate these things, but Cuba is sanctioned and under embargo.
You you can't do this. I This is nuts.
The the the the degree to which we are foregone in this country. They're listed as a state sponsor of terror. Trump issued an emergency declaration of January of 26. Uh I said, "Is there a legal distinction?" Yes. defined in 15 CFR 791.4.
Any foreign government or non-government person determined by the Secretary of Commerce to have engaged in a long-term pattern of serious instances of conduct significantly adverse to the national security of the US. Cuba is explicitly listed as a foreign adversary along China, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and others. Why is she working WITH THE RUSSIANS TO BRING OIL TO AN ADVERSARY OF THE UNITED States in the Western Hemisphere? This is crazy.
Wow. Let me let me bring this in. Cuban sanctions. The United States maintains a comprehensive economic embargo on the Republic of Cuba. In February of 1962, John F. Kennedy proclaimed an embargo on trade between the US and Cuba in response to certain actions taken by the Cuban government and directed by the departments of Department of Commerce and Treasury to implement the embargo.
On June 16, 2017, the president issued a national security presidential memorandum strengthening the policy of the US towards Cuba. On November 8th, 2017, the Department of State, Commerce, and Treasury announced certain changes to implement the president's national security directive memorandum, I should say. For additional information, you can check out this blah blah blah. We get it. Cuba's been sanctioned for a long time. I just gota This is I'm I'm flabbergasted. Flabbergasted, I say.
the the the degree to which Democrats are trying to subvert this country.
Let's try this. Look at this. The Secretary of State uh export bans and terrorism focused restrictions, national security declared in 2026 targeted sanctions and tariffs.
Cuba is legally a foreign adversary for many regulatory purposes subject to sanctions via emergency powers. They're not formally an enemy in a military sense. Now, that's fair because that that requires like declarations from Congress. These labels allow graduate responses short of war. The designations are political, national security tools and can shift with administrations.
Let's try this. What if a Democrat began working with Russia to get oil to Cuba on their own? Let's just see what it says. Let's see what Grock claims. A Democrat might secretly collaborate with Russia to supply oil to Cuba independently. Such collaborations would violate US sanctions on both Cuba and Russia, risking legal penalties under law, like Helms Burton or CACR if a public official did it. Oh boy. All right, here we go. Come on. I like rock.
Let's just Let's just get it. The user is asking a hypothetical. Yeah, a hypothetical.
I love it. I like this because I don't want it to respond based on what it Oh, it found it. Primila Japal coordinating oil to to Cuba. Uhoh.
Uhoh. Update. She recently visited Cuba.
Uh oh. It would be illegal under current US laws of May 2026, regardless of party affiliation, and would carry serious legal, financial, and political consequences. No US person can legally work with Russia on their own to supply oil to Cuba in defiance of sanctions.
Are they going to mention uh the Democrat? If the Democrats and elected official, the Logan Act criminalizes unauthorized US citizens negotiating or corresponding with foreign governments to defeat the measures of the United States. Congressional and ethics investigations as well as national security. Uh practical outcome, the DOJ would almost certainly open a case quickly. Career damaging accusations.
Russia can ship oil independently. The bottom line, this is not protected speech or diplomacy. It is sanctions evasions under US law with steep personal and professional risks. The same rules. Uh, let's try this. Has a Democrat done this.
I think it'll just take too long to answer. It knows about Premil Jel because everybody's sharing this tweet.
Groc gets it. Come on. There's no public evidence that a Democrat has directly worked with them.
Let's see the context. Uh, okay. What about Premila?
Okay. Let's let's just wait. Let's let's just see what they say. I want to make sure we're not defaming anybody. She has not worked with Russia on shipments to Cuba. Advoc advocacy and Cuba visit along with Rep. Jonathan Jackson led a congressional delegation to Cuba. They met with the president arguing against Trump's illegal. Isn't that a violation of the Logan Act? Anyway, her actions involve public criticism, congressional diplomacy, and outreach to US allies and neighbors in Latin America. Standard if controversial, there is no reported coordination, brokering, or facilitation with Russia itself. Russia has sent tankers independently as a longtime Cuban ally.
I think they're playing games. I think uh I think Grock is playing games.
So she admitted to working with other countries on getting oil to Cuba. Come on, look at me arguing with an AI delegation to Cuba. Yes, she has public Oh, really? publicly admitted to holding conversations with ambassadors from Mexico and other Latin American countries aimed at facilitating oil and fuel supplies to Cuba. Uhhuh.
Doesn't that undermine US operations?
Do that undermine US operations? Okay, you get the point. Yes, her actions objectively undermine the Trump administration's Cuba policy, even if they fall in the bounds of congressional opposition.
Okay. Uh, is that legal?
Tell me why it's legal. Grock, Logan Act or sanctions. Yes, they are legal. Her Cuba delegation trip, public criticism of US policy, uh, blah blah blah in other countries to encourage is protected under congressional activities. Congressional oversight and foreign travel, members of Congress have broad authority to conduct factf finding trips. Indeed, talking with ambassadors from friendly nations. This uh is r the Logan Act is rarely enforced. Prohibits unauthorized US officials. It's almost never been uh it's almost never led to prosecutions. It does not apply to city members of Congress acting in their official capacity on oversight trips. No reports indicate any investigation into Gyipol. All right, we'll give him that one. That's wild that she's doing this though. I will just say this.
Yes, it is legal. This is political opposite and congressional push back against executive policy, a normal contentious feature of the US system of separated powers.
I'm just I'm I'm shocked to find that we are at this point. But hey, hey, there you go. That's what Grock says. I'm not going to I'm not going to sugarcoat it or fabricate uh reactions. I would argue that this undermines US policy and should be investigated. I don't think it should be allowed, but if members of Congress can do it, well, then they can do it and I think people should talk about it. I'm going to leave it there.
Smash the like button, share the show, stay tuned. More to come. We'll see you all in the next uh bit. Thanks for hanging out.
