This is Olmert's statement. "Mr. Kristof's article includes claims of extraordinary gravity. The Israeli authorities have directed the rape of children, that dogs have been used as instruments of sexual assault, that systematic sexual torture is state policy. I did not validate these claims. I have no knowledge supporting these claims, as I said to Mr. Kristof. Therefore, the positioning of my quote after pages of such allegations misrepresents my views."

[00:00:59]And of course, the New Times of is completely supporting Kristof, completely backing him up. And you know, they're claiming this is all, you know, even though it's published as an op-ed, this is all stands up to journalistic rigor. The New Times has, you know, descended into a kind of Israel hatred. And any opportunity to to to attack Israel, any opportunity to make Israelis look like monsters, any opportunity to make Israel look like some kind of horrific, awful, evil state, they will jump on, they will take. And it's cheered on and celebrated by their readers, by you know, the the the the new Democratic establishment today.

[00:01:39]That just just glorifies in anti-Semitism. And you know, they hide behind, "Oh, no, we're just anti-Zionist, anti-Israel."
