Bass Fishing With Texas Rigs! (Crawfish & Swimbaits)

[00:00:24]The water is a little bit high, but luckily it's not 90° out.

[00:00:31]I think we're going to start with a Texas rig craw or something like that.

[00:00:37]Let's see if we can get a bass, maybe two or three before the sun goes down. All right, time to get rigged up. We're going to start with a plastic crawfish first.

[00:00:51]And I'm also going to bring a swim bait, so if I can't get a bite on one, maybe we can get a bite on the other.

[00:01:00]So, we're fishing a Texas rig two-prong attack.

[00:01:19]First cast, I cast it out there and I got a backlash.

[00:01:24]And I ended up with a fish.

[00:01:31]This fish, quarter pounder with cheese, grabbed my craw while I was sorting out a backlash.

[00:02:47]Wow, smaller than I thought. So, it came out of the water when I set the hook, but we got him.

[00:03:23]We're going to fish this shallow stumpy kind of water by using it as a top water.

[00:03:54]So far we're doing all right for a dog days of summer kind of fishing trip.

[00:04:09]Just as I was saying something, he came off.

[00:04:13]That was a little bit better. I think maybe a half pound.

[00:08:24]Basically twice the size of those other bass.

[00:08:36]It's starting to get dark, but you get the idea. We got a half pound bass here.

[00:08:44]This is the biggest fish though, unfortunately.

[00:09:00]The best I can do is hope for another bass and hope it's bigger than a half pound.

[00:09:18]You know, since the tiny bass are coming back.

[00:09:26]As fall approaches, the larger bass might come back to the bank as well.
