The Rockgrub elegantly demonstrates that evolutionary success often lies in being too insignificant to notice. It is a fascinating study of how a minimalist existence can outlast the most formidable predators.

Rockgrub: The Smallest Survivor on 4546B 🪨🌊本站添加:
The trick to surviving the largest carnivores is to be too small for them to worry about.
The rock grub is a tiny luminescent scavenger that feeds on clumps of sea grass and coral caught in the rocks amongst its habitat.
Having both a tail and legs, the rock grub is fast on both the ocean floor and the open water, making it a less than easy meal for any small carnivores.
The one thing the rock grub has going against it, however, is its bright green glow, painting a target on its back.
It's currently unknown what the evolutionary reason of this glow is, but it may possibly be used in a form of mating behavior.
