FYP Unfiltered Ep.4: Busi Speaks Out On Peanuts, Life & Matric
Added:[music] What's good guys? It's Busy here and you are watching FIP unfiltered.
[music] >> Okay, introducing myself in three words.
Um, I love to dance, of course. I'm very bubbly and I'm very energetic. Yeah.
[music] The >> one thing people always get wrong about me is that I'm rude.
>> No, I'm not rude. I'm kind.
>> I'm sweet.
I'm bubbly. Yes. [music] >> Oh, my biggest flex.
>> Um, my biggest flex.
>> What is my biggest flex? I did. Um Oh, >> I don't know if many would flex about this, but I I got my learners. Yeah, >> you got what?
>> My learners.
>> Yes, that's my biggest flex. [music] >> If my life was a Tik Tok sound, which one would it be? Tasel. Like, I'm I'm tired.
>> Is that the sound? Yeah, it's a song.
Yeah.
[laughter] [music] My favorite subject, >> business studies.
>> Yeah. [music] >> The funniest thing that has happened at school.
>> Um, probably getting lower than 50% for me. Like uh >> lower than 50%.
Africans.
[music] Have I ever been caugh you? [laughter] Have I ever been caught laughing at last? Yes. So many times. Always.
Always cuz like everything is fine.
[music] Am I the student or the loud one? I'm the loud one.
I'm the loud one. My biggest school pet peeve is when I'm quiet and then someone wants to make noise.
[music] >> Which teacher would survive being an impant? My African teacher. She's actually good with content. I've actually told her this before. Yeah, my African teacher.
[music] One lesson I've learned this year, not everyone is your friend, guys.
>> I always say this, not everyone is your friend. You may know someone, you may interact someone like almost every day, but they're not your friend. Like, they're not your friend. And also, I feel like people misunderstand the concept of friendship lately. Like, people do not understand the qualities of being a friend. Like just because I know you or because I see you every day that that doesn't mean you're my friend. You understand?
Yeah. Yeah.
Eh.
>> Who did that? Who did you bad?
>> No one did me bad. But like I just see people's energies with [clears throat] [music] What's something I wish others understood about teenagers? [music] like not every day is a good day. Yeah.
[music] >> One thing I'm proud about myself for.
>> Um >> I've achieved so much at a at a young age. Yeah. I've really achieved so much at a young age. I never thought I could do it at this young age. I thought maybe it was like dreams I could achieve after high school, when I'm done with school, when I'm an adult. But no, you can do it now. You can do it when you're like 12.
I could have done things when I was younger, but you know, we can't rush God's timing. But yeah, I've done so much like who would have thought I I could like take away like um what is burden the right word? like okay the burden of like having to pay school fees from my parents like I've I've taken away so much from my parents that like I don't even not to say I don't need my parents but [music] I've reduced the stress of taking care of a child you understand even for my younger sibling yeah I've taken that away from my mother yeah [music and singing] >> if I could go back one year what advice I would give You do not need people in your life to to [music] you know like you could do like you could do this life thing alone.
You don't need people and also like you don't need friends like that. You genuinely don't need friends [music] like that guys. [snorts] Yeah.
>> How is Matrix so far? Yo, >> again I repeat my trick is so draining.
The workload, the workload is a lot, guys. And like there's no break. I don't know if it's my school or like in general there's no break. Like Monday, Saturday from 8 to 4 if not 5, you're at school. Most of your time is at school. If you think, "Oh, today I'm going to give myself a break. I'm going to take myself out, you know, fill up my cup." There's no time for that. You're going to be at school 24/7 on. If you think maybe you can do it on like Sundays, no, you can't. You're tired.
You're going to be sleeping. Take that time to sleep. If not sleeping, you're taking that time to study. So, like, it's a lot. It's training.
It's just training. Yeah, it's training.
[singing] How do I balance school good and being famous? I feel like you have to prioritize, you know, you have to choose, but not really choosing. Priorities is very important. So, I really prioritize my school work more than anything. And that's one thing my peers [music] struggle with. Prioritizing school guys more than fame or Tik Tok or anything like school first. I feel like also creating a schedule for yourself to say okay at this time I'm going to be outside. I'm going to be dancing. I'm going to be shooting and then when I come back it's just me and books. And also with balancing school and [clears throat] all of this thing you have to sacrifice.
Not not silly sacrificing. No, no, no, no, no. Like sacri it's either you're sacrificing your sleep time or you're sacrificing shoots. Some other people sacrifice their school work to shoot but that's not me. [music] Yeah. So goes along with priorities sacrificing. You understand? Yeah.
[singing] >> According to me who is the biggest influencer at school? Peanuts.
In fact, he's the biggest um personally for me guys, he's the biggest influencer in SA. You can come for me, say what you say, but my peanut is the gold, guys. He is the gold. [music and singing] >> Chasing I'm I'm chasing my dream max to get into my dream school. everything would say no.
Mm-m.
Yeah. Lawyer like hey >> what do you want to be?
>> What do I want to be? I want to be I want to be a superstar but like also I want to be very good with like um marketing like very very good you know I want to create the next Tyler.
[music] No no no no.
[groaning] I love them both. Don't make me do this.
No, no, no, no, no.
[music] >> Oh. Oh, I can I can continue. Okay.
Being famous. Okay, guys. I wouldn't say I'm famous. Let me just put it as popular. Um, being popular is it has a good advantage to it, you know, but it also can be very overwhelming >> cuz like it takes away from your privacy and freedom. [music and singing] about authenticity.
>> Social media is cruel.
>> People on social media want you to live the way they want. Like in terms of if you're doing something that you want to do, they're going to be like, "Why are you why aren't you why don't you do it this way? Why are you doing it like like ish or like it's a [clears throat] you're trying to be like >> brole [music and singing] >> popularity at school means high expectations from people >> very very high expectations from people expect you to act a certain way and also me I'm going to say this again not everyone is your friend so Being popular at school doesn't mean I I can be friends with everyone. That's why I'm saying like people have lost the thing like they have lost the the understanding of friendship you know I can't just wake up you meet me today [music] and then overnight we're friends. No again going back to high expectations they expect you to be those top students.
>> [singing] >> Confidence starts with >> how you see yourself.
>> It's starts with how you see yourself.
Do not do not depend on how people see you because like if you put that into your mindset and think what do people say? What will people think about me? Trust me, you're not going to go there. You're going to go there. Yeah.
[music] A real friend is someone who's not a monitoring spirit.
Someone who doesn't see competition in you.
That one I I highlight it. Yes. And um I'm complimenting you and then your compliment is you understand. Yeah. And also when you're achieving something and then they add this little two cent to it that's not even positive. Mm- mm. We don't do that. Don't do that. That's not nice. That's not nice.
>> [music] >> The internet needs to stop um wanting us to do things the way they want [music] things to be. No, this is my life, not yours. If you want to see something, I feel like if you want to see something on the internet, I always say this, give people the content that you enjoy watching. If you want to see something on the internet, then give it to them. Not don't expect it from me. Do not expect it from me. Thanks.
conversations breaking [music] out of all the cages.
>> Success looks like living in Dubai, driving my G63, you know, in my mansion, my kids running around. I want um kids, you know, that's what success. [singing and music] >> Yeah. Success is not having a iPhone 17 Pro Max. It's not having sitting on this. No, that's not success. No, no, no, no, no, no.
Um, let me see. Let me give an example.
>> Okay, next question. [music] [singing] >> Sorry.
You guys [laughter] [music] in terms of what? What else?
>> In terms of friendship.
>> It's anything >> in your head.
>> No. Give me give me zoom.
I must go >> to [laughter] [music] >> always in their phone and me always on my phone. So [music] am I a red flag if me personally if you're always on your phone it's look red flag for me. So guys, >> never takes pictures.
>> Never takes pictures. That's nothing bad though. If they're not like comfortable around the camera, then that's fine.
[music] Green flag.
>> One conversation >> doesn't dance.
>> Green flag. No, green flag. Yeah.
>> [clears throat] [music] >> Green flag green flag to that extent.
So, so we finally sweetheart.
Yeah.
Would I rather never use Tik Tok again or Instagram? I'd rather not use Instagram. Instagram has became has become such a strict um and serious platform. Like I'd rather not use Instagram.
>> Tik Tok is more fun. People on Tik Tok interact.
Yeah, Tik Tok.
[music] >> I'd rather be famous online than at school. Yo, I'd rather lose my favorite shoes over my phone, guys. I've lost how many pairs of shoes right now sitting here on this chair like guys. Yo yo yeah I'd rather lose my shoes. Y [music] I would rather win $1 million or brands dollars.
>> [music] >> Tyler. Yes, Tyler.
Um, [music] >> five school subjects. Um, math, lit, business studies, economics, life orientation, and English, [music] >> crying emoji, heartbreak emoji, um, laughing emoji, crying emoji again.
[music] Um, Pringles, may not eat some more [music] Randy. Uh, peachy sprinkles myself. [laughter] [music] Um, yeah.
Weirdest DM I've ever received.
[clears throat] >> Someone asked me to to send them weird pictures. [music] >> I think I'm embarrassed and admit I eat tissue and paper.
>> It's nice. [music] One habit I am trying to stop is doom scrolling. And >> um when I commit to being a better Christian, I drift away from that.
Yeah. Is I go back to old habits that I said I would stop for God. And then Yeah.
[music] >> Okay. No one is the worst dancer.
Everyone is good at dancing. Guys, stop.
No one is.
[screaming] It's myself, Peanut.
Iconic B. [laughter] I don't want to say the last one, bro.
[laughter] No.
No.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Please, no, guys.
>> Um, let's look for Let's find a substitute.
Come on. No one is the worst dancer. And please, production, do not cut this part out. I said no one is the worst dancer.
Everyone is good at everyone is good, guys. production. Do not cut this part. Okay, we have me, Peanuts, Star, and Iconic Bri, right?
Okay, so I'll put her first. She's she's a really good dancer. Yeah, she's a really good dancer. Um, two, Stuck Girl is really good at creating DC's, so I would put her at number two.
Peanuts, really cool dancer, an iconic Bri. She's also dope. Yeah, she's also dope.
[music] that. Okay, this is more like an advice or not really an advice, but like getting over friendship breakups is the worst thing, bro. It's the biggest pain on earth than a breaking up with like a boy or a girl. That's Yeah, especially breakups are worse.
[music] >> Dream collaboration like a brand.
>> Yeah. [music] Yeah, >> a brand.
>> No, no, not a brand.
>> Human.
>> Um, >> I really want to, but thing is what would I collab her? What would I collab with her doing? Like, what would I do?
>> Tyler, >> what would I be doing?
>> [music] >> I don't want to be behind an artist anymore.
[music and singing] >> Um, I want to have my my car. The Oh, what is the one goal I want to achieve before I'm 20? I want to have my own car.
Wait, how many years does getting a degree take? [music] It depends on the course. 3 years. Yeah, I really want my degree, [music] guys. I do not want this entertainment thing to push me away from the busy that loves [music] books and education and really wants to get a degree. Like, I really want to get my degree. Yeah. By 20 or 21.
>> No. What is my net worth? No.
until the next question. I repeat, [music] no honest money on YouTube in a month. Like when I was a YouTuber in a month, it's not even [music] in a month.
It was >> 13.
>> Not not too much. It's not too much.
Come on. It's not [music] too much.
>> What do you want people to remember you for?
>> What do I want people to remember me for?
[music and singing] >> Netflix or chill or watch YouTube? I My attention span is very like little for Netflix. I don't watch movies.
So YouTube [singing] [music] >> go to eat a or in a restaurant in a restaurant cuz like there's varieties of like foods to eat you know guys [music] >> top three movies Moana um [music] problem Flowers or chocolate? [music] Chocolate. I'm a flower.
[music] >> The best choreographer in essay list. The best choreographer in me. I have a list.
Tom London.
Yeah, those are my two favorites.
Thanks, [music] Yeah. [singing] >> 5 years from now.
>> A repeat. I want to see.
>> Oh, I don't want to have five. I I don't I don't want to have kids in 5 years. Um 5 years from now, I want to be driving in my G63, guys.
I want to have built my mom a home and my family. Um I want to finish.
Okay, it's already finishing, but like I want to, you know, add those last touch-ups in my grandmother's home as well. And >> I want my family to be stable. I want my family to have anything and everything they want and need.
>> Yeah. [music] >> The one message I would like to leave for every young person watching, I always say this, your time will come.
Your time will come. Just because you see your peers doing it now, that doesn't mean it's your time. It does not mean it's your time. Your time will come. Clap for the hands that are doing it now. You don't know. You may want something that like your peer has now.
But maybe God doesn't want it for you.
God has a bigger plan for you. Again, clap hands for those that have it now.
Clap hands for those that are winning now. You know your time will come.
>> Yeah.
>> [music] >> Why do people keep supporting my journey? Because guys Yeah.
Hey guys like [clears throat] [music] >> Do you think people under the age of 18 are allowed to sign entertainment contracts? Um, I [clears throat] feel like it depends.
I feel like it depends whether it's like, [music] you know, brand deals or like sponsorships. Yeah, I would definitely advise them to Yeah, huge sponsorships from big brands. Do it. Do it. But it's it's something to exploit you. No, don't do it. I also like don't read something because you only read the part where it says we're going to offer you this. No, read everything where there's but read everything.
There's like 100 grand read everything or else contract.
Maybe [music] [singing] >> I was off on my dream contract today.
What questions I would ask before signing it? I I always ask this goody.
Um, does this mean that like always like does this mean I won't be able to do this, do this, do this? I always ask that. Always guys, if y can give you the world, these people, these contract things, they can promise you the world. They can. Yeah. They will say, "Yeah, anything you want, we will give you." Okay. Signal and there's no going out. Your signature is there. Your signature is there.
You've signed the papers. Now what?
You're stuck.
You're stuck here. It's It's bad. People are like like people really know how to play mind games. So, you have to be very smart with this.
You must know English or else I repeat.
Yay guys. And also going back to my advice to kids, stay in school is very important. Don't just go to school just because put you in school. Actually listen and focus because these things will really help you in the future. They will help you in the future.
No.
But me personally, for instance, >> [music] >> imagine I just won my dream award 30 seconds each. Okay.
Um, good day ladies and gentlemen. And first of all, I would like to thank every one of you that have rooted for me, supported me, been with me through this journey, encouraged me through the tough times of this journey of mine.
