Russia is implementing a covert mobilization strategy without officially declaring mobilization, using mass raids in regions like Penza to forcibly take men to military recruitment offices and pressure them into signing Defense Ministry contracts, while simultaneously preparing for deeper Ukrainian strikes by hardening facilities far from the front and developing long-range defensive capabilities.

Putin Has Started Mobilizing Russia Without Admitting It
Added:It's Saturday, June 20th, 2026. If I was a betting man, I would say that if Ukraine keeps on the trajectory that it's on, it's going to be so hard on the Russians that they're going to push Putin to have to mobilize. I don't think that Putin wants to mobilize, but I I think that may very well be the direction he's going. In the meantime, Putin's doing stuff like what you're going to see in this video. They're mobilizing without mobilizing. So, let's start with what's going on in Russia. I saw this media. Zona, I'm sorry, Medusa is part of my normal news feed that this popped up yesterday and I reposted it on X. Um, let's look at this. Mass raids are underway in Penza. Men are being taken into military recruitment offices and being forced to sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense. So, what happened in Penza? Military enlistment offices with participation of security forces are conducting mass raids.
According to media reports and human rights groups, telegram channels are uh the arrests are chaotic with questions primarily directed at those who previously received a summon but never showed up. The men are then taken away to sign a contract. There is also evidence of violence against those detained documented in various sources but not yet confirmed. Okay. Forced conscription is indeed most common in Moscow, but arrests there are targeted, for example, in the metro. That is, they are looking for specific individuals.
Here we saw the attempts to accuse various men, mostly reserveists, of violating military registration rules.
And using this pretext, some were pushed onto buses. Some were taken to police stations to the regional military registration and enlistment offices, and some were pressured into signing contracts. So, where's Penza? Penza's all the way over here. Let's circle this here. That's Penza. And Moscow, for context, is here. And this is the border of Ukraine. So, it's a it's a long way.
Uh but yeah, uh it's not Moscow. It's a long way from Moscow as well. And what they don't want to do is tick off the citizens of Moscow or St. Petersburg because those kind of they're kind of upper upper class comparatively to other places around Russia. Okay. A little bit more. This is directly from media medusa as well. Uh the they loaded them like convicts. We stood up and said, "We won't let you." The wife of Amanda Tain during a raid in Penza on how her husband was sent to war in one day.
Media managed to speak with one of the participants of the video. Her husband was on the bus with 17 other men who were forced to sign the contracts and sent to war. Couple of hours later, Tamara arrived at the enlistment office, but she wasn't allowed to see her husband. Ministry of Defense reacted to the news from Pensza only today, calling those writing about the raids fake makers.
So, if you're writing about something that the government's actually doing that they don't want you to talk about, you're called a fake maker and describing the detentions as raids to identify individuals who received Russian citizenship and failed to register for military service in a timely manner. And they're now off to war. Here's Anton Geroshenko's take on this. Very soon, mobilization could affect every draft age man in Russia.
The average lifespan of a Russian assault soldier is about a one week. For those who do not want to become Putin's assault fodder, there is still an opportunity to save their lives and leave Russia. Now, again, this is mobilization without calling it mobilization, but the population is going to feel it. Here's this woman talking. Tell me.
Tell me, did everyone sign a contract voluntarily?
Tell us, were you forced? Were you beaten?
It was, was it voluntary or not?
So, she's on her phone trying to get information and close the door. You won't give us even you won't even give us five minutes to say a proper goodbye.
Act normal. You could have given us five minutes. You beat them. We know it. You beat them. All the better.
Blank you. You can't even give us Yeah.
five minutes to say a decent goodbye.
So, that's what's going on there. Okay.
This may be the way of the future.
Something short of full-on mobilization without mobilizing. But they're not. At least they're not. They're able to not say, "No, we're not mobilizing." from Kev in three days to modular drone shelters being installed in Kronnot near St. Petersburg around 900 kilometers from Ukraine's border. Yeah, that's where the war is for Russia. Russia's already declared war on us, says Bill Browder. Uh he's talking about what happened in Britain just the other day.
>> Thing and is and we need to understand it clearly that that um Russia has already declared war against us. It's not it's not as if it's a hypothetical.
Uh in the last week uh in a court case in the British courts, it emerged that Russia sent uh arsonists to burn down the prime minister's home.
>> This just came out in a court case just just recently like that happened. Let let alone all the other nefarious stuff.
Uh Soliv is saying, "Yeah, well, we're at war with you." I mean, it's it's no question. By the way, did you know Soliv speaks English as well? Here he is on June 5th.
>> Fighting you guys, NATO. Well, Switzerland is not part of NATO.
>> We started fighting NATO. We're not fighting Ukrainians.
You know how we kill enemies there? We kill them n Germans.
We don't call them Ukrainians.
They are the word you won't like to hear, >> but that's the way it is. I >> I think what he what he means by that is that we call them Nazis, but just calling them Nazis doesn't make them Nazis. And uh but he's saying we're fighting NATO. No, no question.
>> We don't hate them. We hate you.
>> So you're the one we're fighting with.
NATO, >> not Ukraine. They're just victims in this war.
>> Wow. Isn't that some perspective? So, that's how the Russians are thinking about this. Now, today, Firepoint drones set a new record. They flew 2,500 km.
The last I saw was just over 2,000 km into Russia, launched a strike on the Chyman oil refinery. As Shyu said there is no safe place in Russia. Now, it's, you know, it's a rare occasion to agree with Shyu, but yep, it it's going to get worse and worse for Russia. And Firepoint, while we're at it, decorations for the Russian embassy in Paris yesterday. Let me zoom in a little bit so you can see. Firepoint trolling.
Yeah, they're they're projecting that on the Russian embassy in Paris. Okay, Europe. What's going on there? German Chancellor Merse once again. Now, this is commentary from Michael Mccay once again gives an undeserved veto to the Russian invaders over membership in the EU. He stated, "A country like Ukraine at war cannot become a member of the European Union." Yesterday I talked about uh the Hungarian position. They were trying to fasttrack it and and uh Maggyar was stopping that fasttracking.
M is saying look you're at war you can't become a that's the standard for NATO as well. I understand if I was Ukrainian I would want to be in there as quickly as possible as well but this is the accepted orthodoxy from the past moving forward. It's not like he's just turning on them. M is doing a lot for Ukraine.
So, let's give him the benefit of the doubt here. He's trying to thread the needle as well as possible. I'm not going to be hard on Merse for this. He hasn't he has not given me enough reasons to be hard on him. Okay. Uh the UK has unveiled three prototype long range strike missiles for Ukraine under project breaktop developed by MBDA UK MGI engineering and Rotron Aerospace.
the systems completed spring trials and are designed without US components.
Again, there's a there's a huge undermining of US military production. I I I'm thinking you probably wouldn't want to have US and this is not u uh financial advice, but US stocks and like Rathon and other companies that provide weapons around the world, you probably don't want to own those anymore because Ukraine's just undermining it. Um, and so British officials said that the missiles uh are expected to reach Ukraine by the end of 2026. At least one of those three systems is going to reach by the end of 2026. There'll be more strikes into Russia. Uh, Kier Starmer could resign within days according to the times. According to insider, Starmer will make his final decision this weekend after discussing it with his wife. Polyarket traders are heavily betting on his exit. So I I don't know.
I'm not rooting against him. I probably disagree with him politically on many things, but his support for Ukraine has been very good. It's been very consistent. The upside of this is whoever replaces him will probably be as supportive of Ukraine. Whe I mean, even the conservative side in the UK was very uh supportive of the UK. So, whoever replaces him on the liberal within the liberal parties will certainly be supportive as well. More than likely, Hungary lifted a ban on Ukrainian media imposed under Victor Orban's government.
Culture minister has said Hungary blocked 12 Ukrainian media outlets last year in autumn. And this was part of Orban running against Zalinsky or using Zalinsky as a foil as he was running for re-election. Okay. In Ukraine, Ukrainian drone makers are expanding their outreach into Asia. How about that?
targeting Japan and Taiwan as regional militaries accelerate investment in unmanned systems amid rising tensions over China and Taiwan. Companies behind some of Ukraine's most widely used battlefield drones are seeking production partnerships, supply chain access, and defense contracts, positioning their systems as combat tested tools for modern warfare. The push reflects a broader shift in Asia's security planning scenarios involving maritime conflict particularly are important. Uh Ukrainian firms say that they are drawing on battlefield experience from war with Russia to offer systems adapted for surveillance strike and naval operations in complex maritime environments. It it's a great partnership. I mean that's that's brilliant. That's something that both sides it's a win-win situation. Okay, US stories. Hajes says that he was surprised that Trump was saying what he was saying at the G7. He was even calling Russia the aggressor. Listen, >> I frankly was surprised that the president um agreed to a fairly strong statement from the the G7 because he has not been willing to uh he can't even say that uh Russia is the aggressor that they're the bad guy. He hadn't been able to do that. So, I was pleased to see that he at least agreed with the other members of the G7 quite frankly.
>> Yeah. And and so that we'll see how long how long live that is. Uh but here are some other things that have just happened recently. Trump says Europeans should pay for the weapons supplied to Ukraine under Biden. According to him, the deliveries amounted to 350 billion.
There's it's nowhere near that. It's like half that. Uh Germany is also considering Ukraine's long range systems, Flamingo and bars, as alternatives to American Tomahawk missiles, according to Politico. But let's look at Trump for about 10 15 seconds. I won't do more than that. A lot was given away by Biden to Ukraine and they should pay for it. Meaning the Europeans should pay for it. But that wasn't in the cards for them. They didn't uh nobody asked them to pay. All you have to do is say take our military.
You we just pay us.
>> Okay. So yeah, that's that's Trump's new tune today. Uh US senators proposed frozen Russian assets to buy weapons for Ukraine. The bipartisan Saber build, so this is a new one. Saber bill would let Keeve use confiscated Russian assets to strengthen its military. About 4 to 5 billion of the estimated 300 billion in frozen Russian assets are under US control. It's not a lot and it's nothing really new. It's just a new bill came out uh two days ago. Ka Cornin uh Coons and others uh were supporting of this.
So uh Tim Kaine is a Democrat. Cornin is a Republican, but he was just ousted by Trump because Trump supported his primary opponent. This is what I mean by when they primary someone. That's why Republicans aren't standing up to Trump.
Uh Cornin, a longtime senator, was just ousted. And Roger Wicker, Republican, uh from Missouri, uh no, uh Mississippi. Um and Chuck Grassley from Iowa, Republican as well. So, I mean, all the usual suspects, but I don't know that it'll go anywhere. And even if it went anywhere, uh Trump has to sign it and it's open question whether he would. So look at Iran because this is a thing clogging up the the world right now. Postponement is the critical word here rather than cancellation. They're trying to put the best face on what's going on here. Jack Keane, the ISW says that he warns that against the Iran deal. Hezbollah's threat to Israel is still there. The Iran deal is just a bad deal. Uh Ran Paul is a senator from Kentucky, a Republican senator from Kentucky, famously against every war he's ever seen. Proponents of forever wars have zero credibility. He says they've been wrong every time President Trump is trying to end the war in Iran. I'm standing with him on peace. Jonah Goldberg is a uh old school conservative like me. He actually wrote a book about old school conservatives and conservatism. Uh, good book, too. Good news. Literally, no one proposes forever wars. That's right. This this is what one side targets the other with and says, "We got to get stop these forever wars. Nobody wants a forever war. They would go much longer than we want them to, but nobody proposes that." So, I agree with proponents of forever wars.
Don't have credibility. Neither do leprechauns. They argue against a position uh that actually exists. Try arguing against a position that actually exists. Right? So, um, yeah. Okay. Uh, Iran's military command says it's closing the straight of Hormuz to commercial traffic in response to continued Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon. This is a statement on 20 June.
And again, Hezbollah is attacking Israel. Israel is attacking Hezbollah.
Speaking to Fox News, US Vice President JD Van said there there is no proof that Iran has closed the straight of Hormuz in response to a ceasefire violation in Lebanon. Well, here's the proof. vessels should not approach the straight of Hormuz. This is the official statement.
Public relations of the IRGC Navy due to the crimes of the Zionist regime in Lebanon and the violation of US commitments to establish a ceasefire.
The straight of Hormuz is closed to all Fzil. So there's the proof. Van says the people who object to this deal say so because Israel says it's bad. No, we object to this deal because we think it's bad for America, which it is. And so this is a normal thing. whoever like strikes the deal is going to be the most rabid defender of the deal. More than likely, it's going to be hard for him for him to back away from the positions even if they're bad positions.
Now, and again, the the reality is remember we were saying help is on the way like keep rise up against your government protest. It all probably feels unthinkable to those who stake their hopes for a free Iran on Donald Trump. Just months after the Iranian authorities murdered tens of thousands of protesters, the administration is dangling total sanctions relief in front of the regime. Just open the straits. We don't even need the nuclear thing. We don't need to have democracy. Just open the straits. That's where we are right now. So, we got to the memeification stage for Trump yesterday. We have regime change in Iran. And then they just show before the war supreme leader was Kamani. Now, it's Kamani Jr. That's regime change. Uh, and before the war, the president, the president, the president, the parliamentary speaker, parliamentary speaker, head of judiciary, so on and so forth. So, yeah, that's where we are right now. All right, my friends. My shout out is to Kevin Zer Zerth, uh, colleague, YouTube member. Thank you, Kevin, for your support. I greatly appreciate it. Trump must pressure Putin. I don't see him having any inclination to do so, but that's what needs to happen. And finally, here's another meme. I have totally defeated you and also transferred $300 billion dollars to your bank account.
Yeah. Yeah. You know, just I mean memes are important because they tell us a lot. The humor behind them show us that, you know, something's just not right here. All right. Thank you, my friends, for your time. Thank you for the likes, the shares, and the subscribes. And thank you for being the kind of person who cares about Ukraine.
