In Kenyan politics, a politician's failure to vote strategically on key legislation can severely damage their political viability, particularly when they are perceived as being aligned with a dominant political faction. Ndindi Nyoro's decision to not vote for the Finance Bill, despite previously criticizing it, created a perception that he was still aligned with William Ruto's Kenya Kwanza camp. This 'fence-sitting' behavior undermined his potential as a running mate for Edwin Sifuna in the 2027 elections, as Kenyans prefer bold politicians who take clear stands rather than those who avoid decisive votes. The incident illustrates how political blunders in critical voting moments can destroy a candidate's value as a political partner, even when they have previously demonstrated strong opposition to the same policies.

Leaked Intel: The Ndindi Nyoro Blunder That Sifuna’s Camp is Desperately Hiding | Lee Makwiny
Added:Ladies and gentlemen, politics is a very interesting game and politics is a very dirty game.
Lindoro did not vote for the finance bill and Kenyans believe that played rough because before the actual vote dinoro was at the forefront.
dissecting and rubbishing that finance bill.
>> Honorable in which clauses mutumba taxes being increased?
>> Honorable speaker, I am repeating for the teenth time. I am at no obligation to tell anyone anything other than debating. Honorable speaker and honorable speaker, we are debating the but ALSO DEBATING THE COMMITTEE.
HONORABLE SPEAKER, WE CANNOT HIDE ABOVE AND BELOW SEMANTIC.
ORDER ALL THE HONORABLE MEMBERS.
I've given the majority leader the mic.
So you will raise after the majority leader.
>> Yeah. Honorable speaker.
>> Honorable speaker.
Honorable speaker. You know my my brother honorable Doro says he's under no obligation to be directed and in fact nobody seeks to direct him. What what what the point of order this chair spoke on take your seat and Kenyans are now branding as one of William R's malls and I remember sometimes back actually termed as one of the William's wheelbarrows.
But for me, I think Noro is consistently committing grave political mistakes and the blunders he's making is definitely going to affect Edwin Sifuna and the group and I want to take this opportunity to explain why.
Before I do that, in case you're watching this channel for the first time, take a second or two, click the subscribe button so that next time you produce a video like this, YouTube will automatically notify you. Ladies and gentlemen, I've been studying Dindoro and on this platform I've always believed that Nuro was William R's biggest political headache in Mont Kenya because first of all understands William R deeply. This is a man who worked with William R was very close with William R.
As a matter of fact, it is alleged that even the money he made, the big money he made, he made as a result of his friendship with William Samur was amongst the young leaders from the mountain who dumped Kenata for William R.
When they fell out, most Kenyans did not really understand what the cause was.
But why do you think lead failed to vote for the finance bill? We had a finance bill in 2024.
If you study the voting patterns during that time voted yes to the 20 and 24 finance bill, remember the one which gin protested. So he voted for it and for me I forgave Noro easily because he was the chair of the budget committee and he had no option.
Then it went like that. Then along the way there was a fallout. Then again there was the impeachment of Riyad Gashaga.
Again it was emotive and those moment those emotive moments is when you really know the true character of leaders.
The voting was either you impeach or you don't.
Again during the impeachment of Friagua dinoro was missing in action.
But a lot of things changed after that dinoro started rising. He started opposing William R and most Kenyans started viewing him as a potential presidential candidate. In fact, the moment it became very clear that Kashag was going to run, most political analysts and pundits believed that Nuroro was positioning himself to become running mate either to Edina or even to Fred Okumi.
But again yesterday was hiding in the toilet.
Nuro did not vote for the finance bill. In short, he forms a list of those 187 members of parliament who skipped the voting.
Ladies and gentlemen, why is this dangerous for Lindoro and of course Eda?
I'm I'm bringing Ed because he's the face of Linda Wani and was expected to join Linda Wani. As a matter of fact, I've always believed that Kangata was just paving way for Nindora. And of course, for those who've been following this channel, I also predicted that Kimatangi was also going to join this camp. But if NI were planning to have a running mate from M Kenya, I doubt if Nor now is that right candidate.
Why? Number one, it's going to be very difficult to convince Kenyans that Nidoro is not William Ry.
How can you convince them?
Because if Ninoro fell out with William R, the real fallout, I can assure you he would have been the first person on the floor of the house to vote no on the voting day because it doesn't make sense for to be on the floor of the house making noise. The work of MPs is simple to make laws. You make laws through voting. In most cases, you you lose, sometimes you win. But it's rather your voice is heard. Your voice is not heard through the noise.
It's actually through the votes. Right now we are talking of 40 members of parliament who voted against that bill.
And we are also talking about the 122 who voted for that bill.
Yeah. Those who those who failed to vote, people believe that they were actually paid by the government. That's the problem. Euro is facing number two the fence you see Kenyans like like or love bold politicians that's the fact why do you think Eduna has been accepted easily because he's bold he was bold to face ODM he was bold to face he was even bold to challenge Roinga over the handshake that's Most Kenyans started admiring Edifa.
Why do you think is loved even before he fell out with R UDA supporters at that time loved him because he could face Wuru Kata Kata was the president he was kata's pe before but he could still face Uhuru Kata and tell him off he would take a stand but is now emerging as a fitter sitting on the fence.
So Kenyans don't love those kind of people at the end of the day and this is something I'm telling you at the end of the day there's nowhere will go with that attribute Kenya just say in fact is still fighting the tag of watermelon and that's why when he stood with GZ and opposed the finance bill he's been opposing and opposing and opposing because he understands how the idea of sitting on the fence and being branded watermelon has affected him politically speaking.
Number three, and this is something which indeed we have to deal with, Kenyans will start viewing him as part and parcel of the problem Kenya is facing.
He cannot represent this change because Kaliba Mia has been consistent on one thing that there's no way you can remove R and replace him with former can people who served in K that is Colono that is uh Riadi. So they needed someone a ticket which would breathe fresh air. Now a phone ticket and ticket would have been ideal in my view. Let me explain.
Nuro would have won the support of the mountain and of course even the support of regard if you had posted this bill you can't ignore the numbers from the mountain then now consolidating the lawyers those two voting blocks alone if they were to to cast to to mop and ensure the turnout in the regions are good enough is enough to take them to the presidency. Then you now add to the young people. These young people saw Noro not voting or voting yes in the 2024 finance bill. They forgave him. They expected him to form the list of those who are going to oppose this bill. Then again he did not.
So these young people will now see him as part of a problem. And importantly the running mic question with this blunder which he committed. I can assure you, okay, he can run for for for presidency, but I don't I doubt if he'll be that much sought after running mate. Nobody will be looking for new to be his running mate.
Yeah, I don't know what you think.
That's my take. Until next time, this is Lima. Bye-bye.
