Trump Ramps up Military Pressure, Warns U.S. Will Target Area Near Pickaxe Mountain Nuclear Site

[00:00:13]>> Well, inside Iran, authorities are targeting a Christian church in Tehran.

[00:00:23]>> US forces struck Iran for the 11th consecutive night as Washington continues his campaign against Tehran.

[00:00:30]US Central Command says American aircraft struck Iranian military sites degrading Iran's ability to threaten shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

[00:00:38]Iranian media reported explosions in Bushehr, home to Iran's nuclear power plant. While increasing pressure on Iran, President Trump met with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at the White House. The meeting followed rare direct talks between Lebanon and Israel after months of fighting with the Iranian backed Hezbollah terrorist group. Trump said, "Washington is committed to helping Lebanon."

[00:01:08]>> Trump also addressed Iran saying Tehran wants negotiations because they are in his words getting decimated. But for now, the attacks will continue.

[00:01:17]>> Until they're ready to meet in a meaningful way, we have no interest in even >> Trump said the United States will soon target the area near Fordow site mountain, a fortified underground site near one of Iran's primary nuclear enrichment facilities. The Wall Street Journal reports Israeli intelligence believes Iran has moved thousands of centrifuges used to enrich uranium into tunnels there.

[00:01:47]>> The president also warned Iran's Houthi allies against disrupting shipping in the Red Sea saying the United States will take care of business if the group attempts a blockade.

[00:01:58]At least two vessels carrying Saudi oil reportedly turned around in the Red Sea Tuesday after the Houthis made their threat. The US military identified two more soldiers who died over the weekend.

[00:02:09]Sergeant Michael Emmanuel Swinton, a 30-year-old father from Fayetteville, North Carolina, was killed in Iraq July 19th. Officials also confirmed Sergeant Angel S. Ramsperger, 28, of Ozone Park, New York, who was killed in an Iranian attack on a US base in Jordan.

[00:02:28]President Trump is scheduled to attend the dignified transfer of the fallen service members at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware today.

[00:02:35]>> Yeah, I'll be going to Dover for something that I feel is is it's a great honor for me to do it.

[00:02:43]>> At the same time, the administration has approved a civilian nuclear cooperation deal with Saudi Arabia worth tens of billions of dollars. The agreement would give American companies a key role in Saudi Arabia's nuclear development and could allow uranium enrichment on Saudi soil. The deal does not include Saudi normalization with Israel, drawing concerns it could accelerate a regional nuclear race.

[00:03:08]Inside Iran, authorities are escalating pressure on Christians. The regime seized Tehran's historical Saint Peter Evangelical Church, the country's last remaining Presbyterian Church. It sealed the church doors and banned all church gatherings, declaring the property, residents, and two schools state-owned.

[00:03:27]Several Christian families living on the grounds fled after threats from security forces. Paul Poteet, CBN News, Jerusalem.

[00:03:40]The church seizures just being sort of the tip of this iceberg. Pastors are being arrested, um, taken away, and and let us just pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Iran today.
