[00:08:40]Elephants live in savas, forests, deserts, and swamps across [music] Africa and Asia. They can carry loads over 600 lb, 270 kg with their trunks.

[00:08:55][music] Bears live in forests, mountains, tundras, and even icy arctic regions.

[00:09:10]Bears are mammals and belong to the family Ursid. [music] Bears have strong bodies, thick fur, and powerful claws for digging and climbing.

[00:10:06]Pandas eat almost nothing but bamboo. It makes up about 99% of their diet. They can [music] eat for up to 14 hours a day, munching on bamboo leaves, shoots, and stems. Pandas belong to the bear family, Ursa, [music] and are technically carnivores, but they mostly eat plants.

However, recent research suggests they hum to each other primarily at night, and they also [music] communicate using snorts, grunts, and moans. Giraffes have the shortest sleep [music] requirement of any mammal. Giraffe populations are declining and they are classified as vulnerable to extinction mainly due to habitat loss.

[00:11:16][music] Sheep are domesticated mammals that have been raised by humans for thousands of years. Sheep belong to the same family as goats called bovade. [music] A sheep's body is covered in thick wool which keeps them warm in cold weather.
