This video presents a critical analysis of British royal public engagements, arguing that many royal activities serve as superficial 'PR exercises' designed to promote the monarchy rather than provide genuine public value. The content examines specific examples including Meghan Markle's Emmy nomination for 'With Love, Meghan,' Prince Harry's work with Scotty's Little Soldiers charity, King Charles's pub visit to commiserate with England's World Cup loss, and Prince Andrew's horse riding ban, suggesting that royal accountability is often minimal and that the establishment protects its members through selective consequences.

Meghan Gets Her Emmy Nod And The Royals Do Pub Theatre
Added:[music] [music] >> Welcome to the Hedley Highlights Show's Royal Corner part two.
This week in the Royal Corner part two, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, gets an Emmy nomination for lifestyle programming with 4 With Love, Meghan.
We also have um Harry, the Duke of Sussex, visiting Scotty's Little Soldiers on the last leg of his tour, his pre-tour for Invictus. Let's discuss.
We also have King Bitter and the side salad gourd cosplaying at Commoners, pulling pints to commemorate or commiserate England's losing to Argentina in the World Cup. He also visited the Isle of Man and nobody cares and nobody even knows where the Isle of Man is. Sorry, Isle of Manians.
You're hardly ever in the news. What can we do?
We also have Boo Boo Kitty Kitty, the idle one, and King Dullard in waiting himself, "I'm too lazy to go to the World Cup despite the fact that I am the patron of the Football Association.
However, I've got time to go to Wimbledon and play polo." Let's discuss.
And finally, darlings, we have the Yucka Yorks spending time with their horses while the victims of their heinous activities are no longer with us, but yet they still are not behind bars.
Come to the show, darlings. Let's discuss.
All this and more >> [screaming] >> YES, BABIES, ON THE HEDLEY HIGHLIGHTS SHOW, Royal Corner, part two.
Now, before I jump all over that, my exuberance is abounding. Why? One doesn't even know, but let's enjoy the ride while [music] it's here. Do make a donation, like, share, comment, use these fabulous things at the end of your body to leave a comment or two. Thank you for your wonderful pupils and your beautiful cochlear's lobes and inner uh hearing channels. It's a joy to share those senses with you. Muah, darling.
I'm at 2,000 uh 586 subscribers. I could be touching 6,000 soon. Let's see, shall we?
So, for those of you who are who are new to the channel, welcome. And for those of you who are regular listeners, can I just say, thank you once again. But, for those who are new, I always start my show with good news about the Sussexes.
And the good news this week is that the Duchess has been nominated for a Primetime Lifestyle Emmy nomination for her With Love, Meghan series.
So, the Duchess of Sussex's show had two sit seasons and a holiday special, and all of it aired last year, and she's been nominated for this award, Outstanding Lifestyle Program category.
Now, I was very pleased to see that the Duchess was nominated because the With Love series was a really big hit. It had exceptional viewership, and it was in the top 10, I think, of the Netflix lifestyle programs. So, it was a it was a fabulous opportunity, one for her to showcase her love for food, but also her cooking skills, her communication skills, you know, her creative skills. And I think it was just a really nice show. So, I'm really pleased. Well done, Meghan, and I'm sure we're going to be seeing much more of your creative projects in 2026.
Aw.
There you go.
Look at the Duchess.
Also this week, darlings, darlings, darlings, darlings, we saw the Duke on the last leg of his tour to um for the pre activities for Invictus.
We saw him at Scotty's Little Soldiers, which is a charity which supports children who have lost one or more parents at um within like the say military service. And this charity supports them with opportunities for bonding, for going out, for fellowship, for counseling. And once again, we can see the Duke of Sussex looking absolutely relaxed in the environment with children. And this is why I really like to see the things that he's doing because we all know the importance of the Invictus Games. And I definitely think, I mean, if you saw my earlier video on Friday, um you would have noted that I think that the Invictus Games is being used as leverage to make uh the Sussexes, or should I say especially Harry, do and perform in certain ways.
And I think because of his love of his work, and he knows what happened with Sentebale, because let's face it, Sentebale was destroyed by, as far as I'm concerned, the green eyed king in waiting and his mycelium network of uh agents and uh succubuses so that they could go and destroy the Duke's work, and they actually have done that. And with support from the institutions, which are supposed to PROVIDE OVERSIGHT.
HA!
WHAT A joke that is, Charity Commission.
But irrespective of that point, um here we see the Duke really enjoying the work that he was doing, and he's there to support them and bring awareness to the fact that when people experience trauma, sometimes they don't come back and their families are left and this is the reason why Scotty's Little Soldiers is there to support them and he wants to highlight that. So, more power to you, uh Harry.
More power to you.
And I think it's important to note that Prince Harry has been an ambassador since 2023 >> [snorts] >> and his relationship dates back to 2027 when he met the founder Nikki Scott and the bereaved military children at a party at the palace. And since then, he's continued to support them. See, did you even know about what he was doing?
No, you don't because you know what?
Goodness moves quietly. You don't have to be a bugle for it. You just get on with it and that's exactly what the Duke is doing. Let's make sure that we don't see anybody else getting involved in the charity and next thing you know, the whole thing's mash up. Yeah. Stay away, people. Stay away, um the green-eyed king and the do-little duchess. Keep yourself over there and don't go and come and mash up another thing that the Duke is doing.
Also this week, darling, in the Hedley Highlights Show's Royal Corner part two, we have King Bitter himself and the side salad gourd cosplaying at commoners to commiserate England after they lost to Argentina in the World Cup. And they thought that the way that they could connect with the letter PayPal was to be seen behind a bar pulling pints like Peggy Mitchell and Dirty Den. I mean, that's probably apt for him. King Bitter, Dirty Den. And well, I can't say she's she's not even No, Peggy Mitchell wasn't you know, she was a decent person in many regards. She didn't infiltrate people's marriages and then, you know, seek to break up people's happy homes. Hence the title, the side salad gourd, which I've given to her. But essentially, they went to a pub somewhere and tried to look relevant by saying, "Oh dear, England's lost. Let me pull a pint." I mean, what use is that to the nation?
I mean, think about that. What use is that to the nation? How is that going to impact on anyone's psyche, the cost of living, the price of petrol, milk, cheese, diapers, electricity? It's a completely useless exercise. It's only there to promote this family in a way which attaches them to populist themes. It's almost like they're a >> [laughter] >> party piece. You know, this week we're coming as the Romans. This week we're coming as the communists. And they stand next to things that are supposed to personify England, such as going to the pub. And this is the reason why they're standing in a pub looking completely out of place, because let's face it, if they're having drinks, somebody's pouring it. So, the whole point for me is that this is just another perfunctory exercise in trying to distract you from the amount the amount of money that the sovereign grant has gone up by, three times the rate, you know, it's gone up three times in 10 years. You know, it's over 10% of inflation every year, and it's going up again, and they're doing half the work. But yet, you know, they're being paraded in front of us like this. I mean, it's just a it's a waste of time. And then another waste of time activity was that the the king went to the Isle of Man.
When was the last time that the Isle of Man as a place was even in your mouth?
Do you even know that the UK has a territory called the Isle of Man? Most people don't even know about the Isle of Man. They hardly ever go there. When was the last time you heard about the Isle of Man being in the news in any particular way? And I'm think one of the reasons you see all these crowds is because of the land gentry structure that I think those people are being strong-armed into turning up. But essentially that and the local Thespian Club.
But essentially we once again are given a picture of King Bitter apparently being useful making his first visit to the Isle of Man to do what?
This is what I'm saying. What is the point of these exercises? What value do they have to the local economy? Well, maybe quite a lot of people there might be buying a Capri-Sun because it looks kind of hot. But you know, you're not doing anything. Are you bringing any industry? Are you creating any opportunities for investment? Are you addressing anything on the island like maybe you know, pensioner poverty?
No, you're not. You're just turning up there as an exceptionally wealthy pensioner shaking people's hands for all of what? Half an hour? 20 minutes? An hour?
>> [clears throat] >> Let's face it, you know, he's not exactly in the prime of his life. So he can't do that much. And we're supposed to say what we're supposed to clap our hands and think oh, this is a great investment for the public purse. It's a no for me, darlings.
So continuing the theme of useless dullards, let's jump all over to the green-eyed king in waiting King Dullard wait in waiting himself. We were told this week by a selection of headlines from the legacy media just how sad he was in the because England lost to Argentina in the World Cup.
Here we have the usual sycophantic headlines from the usual bugle Town and Country magazine, Politico, The Independent and the BBC. Guttered Prince William leads tributes to the England team. Prince William gutted. Notice how they Notice the the the fish evisceration adjective gutted in fact. He's so gutted about it that he had to speak to the nation and address the nation's loss really. Did you Was it necessary? I don't think it was necessary at all because let's face it, what was the point of this exercise?
You are the patron of the Footballers Association.
Yes, he's the patron of the Football Association.
The association which governs football in the UK. Do you think he might have gone to watch the national team against Argentina? Let me just check.
No. No, it was a no.
It was a complete no. So, why are you now asking to hog the the the headlines with your sense of perfunctory sorrow about the loss of the natural team when you could have been in the BOX CHEERING THEM ON. IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THAT for Bellingham seeing your boat race there with your teeth bared like Shergar the horse which has gone missing forever, but the two of you seem to have a very strong resemblance. But the point I'm making it it could have made all the difference to the national team. But did you bother to go? No, you were busy playing cozy husband and wife at the end of the three peaks cuz we know that you were just you know, you were wheeled in you know, almost like a wheelbarrow just sit there hug and then that was it. Then you were playing polo. Yes, this week with Boo Boo Kitty Katie in situ on a Jack Jones arms what was she Suzy I've got no mates on her jacks for this whole exercise.
So, what you know, what you were you were so busy this week you weren't there to for the national team, but yet you want to hog the headlines.
It's the same as ever. It's a a puff exercise in rebranding you as somebody who has some degree of interest in what happens in in country outside of lining your pockets with even more money so you can self-aggrandize yourselves.
And of course, darlings, it wouldn't be a royal corner part two without one of the yuck Yorks making an appearance. Yes, the yuck Yorks are here. Hide your kids, hide your wife, HIDE THE DOG when he's around. Mr. Octopus hands is still available in the public space so that he appears to be enjoying his life unlike the individuals who are no longer present in this mortal coil. Why?
Because they are not here while he rides horses and doesn't appear to be taking or receiving anything other than a slight ostracization.
You know, move to the side for a little while until the news headlines die down a little bit, darling, and then you can come back to all the lovely family events and you can bring your leeching family and the children with you, also.
And we'll continue to pay for them and we'll continue to pretend that there's some value to the nation.
>> [gasps] >> So, it would appear from this article that Prince Andrew's royal ban on horseback riding is over after 6 months.
So, after 6 months of us being told that he is going to potentially be charged with some kind of crime in relation to facilitating the the movement of individuals for the engagement of activity of a sexual nature, I'm still waiting to see that and as my mom would say, it's nowhere to be seen. Then we were told that there would be charges or some kind of um um action for him because he effectively gave away state secrets.
Nothing not whilst in allegedly in public office. You know, abuse of public office. Did you see that?
>> No? No? Oh, right. So, what are we we trying to understand here? That because um of all the things we found out and the activities he was involved in, the the way in which he's enriched himself, he's actually behaved in a disgusting, debased, in a way that lacks humanity, his punishment was he couldn't ride a horse for 6 months.
Yeah?
Yeah?
Okay.
Apparently, the Sun had some exclusive pictures of the Yuck York on a horse on the Sandringham Estate because it doesn't appear that he's barred from any activities that happen on the estate.
No, just outside the estate for the public to pretend that some action's been taken against this predator, leech, reprobate.
So, for me, this article is just another indication that the establishment does nothing to those who are important to the establishment. This is the reason why this Yuck York can maintain his lifestyle with no real change outside of, like I said, you know, no pictures for the next 6 months, but after that it's okay. And this is and we're all supposed to be happy about it. Well, I'm sure you've gathered I am not.
I was just going to conclude, but I just came across this story where the side salad gourd was meeting some sit sisters who are witnesses in the front line from the world's presumably places of difficulty. And you know what I thought to myself, I wonder how many of these sisters we're talking about Gaza or Palestine? And how many of these sisters were talking about the Congo? We don't know. Or was this just an opportunity for the side salad gourd to look like she has a social conscience when in fact, whenever she goes out, she's accosted with the the the stolen goods of indigenous people and she lives off of the profits of the stolen goods of indigenous people. And now I'm supposed to think that she's got some degree of humanity cuz she's standing with people who actually do have humanity, even if it is not in the places where I would like to see the witnesses come forward to give their testimonies from. So, this is the point.
You know, they're always wanting to stand next to people who actually do stuff, but you don't do anything apart from wear pretty unattractive dresses, and you know, insult our pupils to the extent where we're scorching and squinching them in every time we see your countenance. That's it for me, I think, darlings.
So, I think that's it for me this week, darlings. I hope you did enjoy the part two of the royal corner, and um it's a little thing I'm trying to see how it just works out so that, you know, sometimes you can get a bit more traction, and also, you're not just stuck with all of the stories at the end of the week because otherwise, sometimes you miss some really cool stuff, really important things. So, that's where my head is. Anyway, hope you liked it. Do like, share, comment, donation, come back next week, and oh, I forgot to say, come to the live show every Friday 8:00 p.m. on X, 3:00 p.m. GMT.
Uh no, 3:00 p.m. No, 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, 8:00 p.m. GMT on X. And you can come into the room. I glow purple. Just just like Zoom, but for your ears.
That's it, honeys. I hope you enjoyed it. See you soon. Like, share, comment.
Don't forget to press the bell notification and select all, and that's it. And cut. Down in front, darlings, DARLINGS. RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT.
[screaming] RIGHT.
