[00:01:47]What exactly have our students done?

[00:01:53]Hundreds and thousands of students, what have they done to have security forces aiming weapons at them to be beaten up to be thrashed, to be humiliated. What have they done? What have they done wrong?

[00:02:09]They were protesting peacefully.

[00:02:13]They are asking for their demands.

[00:02:16]They are asking for what this country owes them.

[00:02:24]They're not doing a crime.

[00:02:27]They're simply asking that listen as students in this country we deserve an education system that works.

[00:02:38]We deserve an education system that is fair.

[00:02:42]And we don't have it.

[00:02:46]Children have committed suicide.

[00:02:49]Our students go through unlimited stress.

[00:02:54]And then at the last minute they're told that the paper has leaked.

[00:03:00]So, there is a legitimate problem.

[00:03:04]And it is a now a very deep problem in this country.

[00:03:12]So the thing that is very clear to everybody is that our education system which was known to be one of the best education systems in the world is today a rigged system.

[00:03:38]I don't say this lightly.

[00:03:40]Thousands of students who are running around outside are not saying this lightly.

[00:03:47]What is the proof?

[00:03:50]It's a superficial proof because we don't actually know the exact number.

[00:03:54]But what we do know is that 152 152 paper leaks have taken place over the last decade.

[00:04:07]If you do the math, so one month.

[00:04:17]One a month, approximately.

[00:04:20]Every month, approximately.

[00:04:24]Every month, lots of students are told that all the stress that you went through, you're going to have to go through again.

[00:04:39]And after that, they're told, "We really don't care.

[00:04:44]We don't care if there's a re-exam. We don't care how much you have to wait. We don't give a damn."

[00:04:54]7.5 crore students and their families affected by this.

[00:05:00]These are middle-class and poor families.

[00:05:05]They put their hard-earned money into this.

[00:05:10]And then they're literally spat on.

[00:05:15]And the best part of this is zero convictions.

[00:05:22]In the last 10 years, 152 leaks have taken place.

[00:05:31]And zero convictions.

[00:05:34]Zero.

[00:05:37]So somebody is or a group of people are destroying our education system, India's most valuable asset, destroying the lives of our students.

[00:05:46]And what does the government do? Zero convictions.

[00:05:51]So, this is the first reason an absolutely legitimate reason why our youngsters are protesting.

[00:06:02]Thing doesn't stop here.

[00:06:04]It goes further.

[00:06:07]It's not just that the system is rigged.

[00:06:12]It's that the system is unaffordable.
