Hysterectomy is not an effective treatment for endometriosis because endometriosis tissue can survive and grow in the body even without menstrual bleeding, meaning the disease persists regardless of whether the uterus is removed.

A DOCTOR WANTED TO GIVE MY 14-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER A HYSTERECTOMY #shorts
Added:When I speak to you, I speak to you because I care generally. I care and I care about women that are and that deserve women that don't get the information. This is why I opened This is why I opened Georgia because So, my specialty is black skin, but my specialty is hormonal imbalance. That's my specialty. That's what majority of black women suffer from PCOS, endometriosis, Cushing's disease, insulin resistance. And all this causes unwanted hair. All this causes weight gain. All this causes misery. That's what I do for 40 years. And that's the reason that I came to Georgia 10 years ago. Actually, two reasons that Georgia Atlanta had a soft spot for me. I will tell you in a second why, but the reason I came to Georgia is because so many black women from the deep south economically, they don't make as much money, let's say, as somebody in Atlanta or somebody in Miami or New York. And a lot of women, whether it's Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, couldn't afford to come to see me. And there are a lot of women. There's thousands of women. I had on my previous channel, I had 3 million people. So, people watched me and so many women would overtime come and say, "Miss Ava, but I can't afford it. I can't come to Miami. I can't come to Miami. What should I do? Do you have something that you can you recommend something?" And so, it was my decision to come to Georgia was purely not economical. It was purely my soul, my heart, my understanding. And if you are If you are asking why and if you are asking why that I made it to Georgia, why I came to Georgia in reality, and why I have so much empathy for women and black women that suffer from hormonal imbalance and PCOS. So, I have a daughter and my daughter is dark.
And my daughter, she's my only child, and my daughter suffered from age 14.
First, it started with PCOS. And then, from PCOS, it went to endometriosis and stage four endometriosis. And this disease destroyed my daughter's life because there is no cure and 32 years ago when it started, nobody even knew what PCOS was. And they didn't know.
When my daughter was 14 and I took her to a gynecologist and he was an older man and he said to me, "Why don't you have a hysterectomy done on her? She can adopt children and she will solve the problem." And I in plain English told him, "Fuck off." And I grabbed my daughter and said, "Let's get out of here." Because nobody knew and these were the suggestions but the suggestions of doing hysterectomies were suggestions that even till today exist in a lot of black communities and in a lot of black counties and in a lot of southern states. Well, that have a hysterectomy that will solve the problem. But hysterectomy doesn't solve the problem at all. Today, we know that hysterectomies doesn't solve endometriosis because endometriosis can live in your body without any drop of your menstrual bleeding.
