The NEET paper leak protests in Delhi demonstrate how government crisis management involves multiple engagement strategies including dialogue with protest leaders, addressing activist demands through assurances, and navigating parliamentary procedures, while facing challenges of maintaining public trust and managing political opposition.

NEET Paper Leak Protests Escalate: Modi Government Talks, Wangchuk Fast, Rahul Gandhi Detained
Added:[Music] As protests against Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over paper leaks rock the national capital, the Narendra Modi government is reaching out to all the stakeholders.
The government aims to hold a second round of talks with the Janata Party, but the protest leaders are demanding a neutral venue this time.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda had met a CJP delegation on Monday that round did not yield any outcome. Is it possible for there to be a rational dialogue between the government and for there to be much mistrust on both sides?
No absolutely not, we are open for dialogue and we are very rational people and we would suggest a Jantar Mantar. But keeping in view the security situation we have agreed to a neutral place.
Sources say senior ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh also met educationist Sonam Wangchuk at the Medta Hospital in Gurugram last night. The activist remains on a hunger strike while the CJP leaders have urged him to end it. And now Wangchuk has written to Nadda and Jitendra Singh seeking an unequal assurance that none of the young protesters will face punitive and retaliatory legal action for participating in the movement. He has also sort an assurance against any further use of excessive police force.
Wangchuk says he will and his fast if the government gives that assurance. Without it, he says he will continue his hunger strike indefinitely. The government also offered debate in Parliament but not under the rules demanded by the opposition which is also insisting on the education minister's outside. The opposition is fully prepared for the discussion on NEET paper leak and we have said from day one that when a discussion takes place, it has to be under some rules and arrangements have to be made for it. The government is fully ready to discuss the NEET paper leak and for the future of the youth of this country, we all should have a meaningful discussion together and want to debate here about the NEET examination and under Rule 267, if there has to be a meaningful discussion for that then the Education Minister should resign first.
Thank you. Thank you.
Unless he resigns, there will be no unbiased discussion here.
On Tuesday, the government approached Rahul Gandhi for a parliamentary debate before the leader of the opposition was dragged away by Delhi police from outside the PM's residence.
Rahul was caught briefly at the Chhatrasal Stadium before he was released. As LOP, you should apologize to the students of the country for what happened yesterday, what your government and your Home Minister did, and start reforms in the examination system and education systems as soon as possible.
Three Engagements One Message The government wants to contain the protest before it spreads further. The question being asked in specific corridors is whether this is a genuine all branch or just crisis management?
