Now, here's the thing, not going to tell you all the things that you possibly heard before about diabetes [music] necessarily. I'm going to try and share something that may surprise you. And for a long time, doctors thought that type 2 diabetes [music] was was a one-way street. Once you had it, you had it for life. Need more and more medication [music] over time. But now we know that's not entirely true.

[00:00:30]Many people can actually reverse their [music] diabetes. And the key to understanding how starts with a liver, which is the surprising fact a lot of people don't think about this aspect.

And there are a number of clinical trials which were run by Professor Roy Taylor in Newcastle on this [music] called Counterpoint, Counterbalance, ReTune, which looked at the visceral fat threshold, and the direct trials.
