The new guidelines apply to all essential services, including water supply, energy, and communication departments, ensuring that any road work is coordinated and safely executed.

In addition to the SOPs, plans are underway to implement common utility corridors in residential areas. These corridors will consolidate pipelines, electricity lines, and telephone cables into a single organized path. Officials say this system will reduce damage to roads, simplify maintenance and enhance the longevity of infrastructure benefiting residents across the state.
