[00:00:02]Iran has once again targeted Kuwait's critical energy and water infrastructure, marking the fourth consecutive day of strikes on the country's vital facilities. Kuwait says Iranian attacks hit power generation and desalination plants, triggering fires at multiple strategic sites. The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy says the fires have been extinguished, damage assessments are underway, and repair work has already begun. The repeated strikes have raised concerns over the security of essential infrastructure in the Gulf as desalination plants are critical for Kuwait's drinking water supply and power stations keep the country's electricity grid running. The attacks were not limited to Kuwait. Jordan's military says Iran also targeted the kingdom with five drones and three missiles.

The latest attacks come after Iran launched retaliatory strikes following US military action targeting American military assets in Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Corps also claimed that massive fires broke out on two tankers in the strategically vital strait of Hormuz. Even as military exchanges intensify, there are signs of diplomatic efforts behind the scenes. A day earlier, Iran confirmed that it had received proposals from international mediators seeking to reduce tensions with the United States. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismael Begayi said Thyran had received the proposals but declined to reveal their contents, saying only that mediators had conveyed them to the Iranian leadership.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps or the IRGC claimed that its aerospace forces struck a US troop complex at Ruckban in Jordan, killing a number of American soldiers. According to Mayor News, the IRGC claimed the strikes carried out as part of the 24th wave of Operation Nasser 2 targeted a compound used by the American Army near the Jordan Syria border.

Bahrain says Iranian drones targeted its civil air navigation systems, while Iran's Revolutionary Guard claims it has struck American military assets and infrastructure across the kingdom in a dramatic escalation of the regional confrontation.

As security agencies assessed the situation, within hours, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for a new wave of strikes under what it called the 24th phase of Operation Nazer 2. The IRGC said its aerospace force launched cruise missiles targeting the central data infrastructure of US technology company Amazon. in Bahrain claiming the facility was destroyed. There has been no independent confirmation of that claim.

[00:05:14]The IRGC also claimed it destroyed a US military radar installation in Muharak and struck a Patriot air defense system in RIFA with a coordinated missile and drone attack. Iranian state media said the strikes were launched in retaliation for what Tyrron described as a US attack on a civilian facility under construction in Darkovven a day earlier.

[00:05:45]In a series of statements, the Revolutionary Guard declared that the operation was intended to punish what it called the US Army and remove obstacles to future large-scale missile and air operations. The IRGC further claimed the attacks were aimed at weakening American military capabilities in the Gulf as hostilities continue to intensify.

[00:06:14]While Bahrain has confirmed that its civil air navigation systems were targeted by Iranian drones, it has not confirmed the IRGC's claims regarding the destruction of US military assets or Amazon infrastructure.

The latest developments mark another significant escalation in the widening confrontation between Iran and the United States, raising fresh concerns over regional security, critical infrastructure, and the stability of global energy and air transport corridors.

The IRGC said the operation was aimed at degrading regional radar coverage ahead of further missile and drone strikes. The claims come as the US has carried out a 10th consecutive night of strikes on Iran with explosions reported near Sadik, Bandar, Abbas, Kesh Island, Chabahar, and Konarak.

The group further claimed that massive fires broke out on two tankers in the straight of Hormuz after they were allegedly targeted for violating Iran's shipping guidelines in the strategically vital waterway. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US was striking Iran over Tehran's behavior in the Strait of Hormuz, but insisted the US was open for diplomacy when asked if theou between the countries was dead in Washington DC on Monday.

The only reason why the US is conducting strikes is against assets of Iran that are being used to attack global commercial shipping. The Straits of Hormuz are international waterway and they continue to launch against ships in that international waterway. Other countries should join us in this effort, but the United States is involved not just in protecting those ships, but in targeting the places that they use to launch these missiles and drones. So that's what you're seeing. That's what the objective of this mission and that's what it continues to be. And we continue on a daily basis very successfully to degrade Iran's ability to target and ships. Uh you hear about the ships that have been struck. You don't hear about the ones that have been defended and the ones they haven't been able to launch against. But as long as Iran insists on controlling an international waterway, we we're going to have to respond to that offramp still. Do you believe that?

[00:09:33]It has to be real. It has to be a deal that they're willing to live by. Look, Iran a week ago was to put out supposed to put out a statement saying that the straits of our moves would be open that they would no longer attack shipping.

[00:09:42]And instead of doing that, they attacked three ships. I think that was last Friday or Saturday. So, I mean, their behavior has to change in order for ours to change.

[00:09:55]>> Well, they're not complying with it. I mean, the the the straits are supposed to be open, free of tolls, free of attack, free of uh all the things they're doing against these ships. So, they're they they've can't have an MOU that's alive if they're violating the terms of it. What I will say is that the United States always remains open to a diplomatic solution. We've tried multiple times with Iran and we'll continue to try. If that if that door opens, we'll be happy to see it open.

[00:10:19]But right and and and they continue to send signals that they want to talk, that they they want to negotiate, but their behavior is what we're responding to and their behavior is they're they're launching missiles and drones against ships, including tonight.
