Most people grow them for their tropical architectural looks, but they are absolute magnets for bees and other pollinators right now. That huge display is made up of thousands of tiny little flowers packed with nectar, and I'm telling you they're buzzing around it right now.
It's absolutely incredible. So, while some gardeners aren't keen on them, I think they've earned a place in my garden. So, a tropical statement plant that's also good for wildlife is a win for me.
