'Assault On Democracy': Vijay's TVK Slams Rahul Gandhi's Detention During Protests

TVK has now gone on to issue a statement in support of Rahul Gandhi saying that Rahul Gandhi was detained forcefully. The TVK has said that Rahul Gandhi supported the peaceful youth protest and that it's highly condemnable that there has been an assault on the democracy. The TV has further gone on to say that need should be scrapped completely. An important update now coming in from Tamil Nad where we're learning that Vijay's TV has now backed the LOP Rahul Gandhi slamming his detention as illegal and forceful is what the TVK has said. The TVK has even further gone on to issue a statement to say that Rahul Gandhi supported the peaceful youth protest and that it is a highly condemnable assault on democracy.

So in a support to Rahul Gandhi TV party has posted on X platform saying that it is assault on democracy where later Rahul Gandhi was detailed and post police following his support for use peaceful protest in New Delhi. TVK also mentioned NE has been facing questions over his credibility ever ever since it it was introduced. At the same time, it has continued to subject students to severe mental stress leaving their dreams and future hanging in the balance. [00:02:26]Well, a war of words has now emerged between the Amadi party and the Congress over who is hijacking or distracting away from a youthled movement. It all began last evening when LOP Rahul Gandhi staged a sit in outside the prime minister's residence along with senior Congress leaders. The Amadi party which had been for showing solidarity with the protesters at Jenter Bantar sharply attacked Rahul Gandhi's protest accusing the LP of attempting to weaken the youthled movement by conspiring with the BJP. With attention on Rahul Gandhi's protest, the Amaldi party questioned that while supporters could not reach the parliament, how did Rahul Gandhi and his party manage to reach the prime minister's residence? alluding further that the only reason Rahul Gandhi was managed to do so was that as opposed to a month-long students movement is because the BJP and the Congress were colluding to take the attention away from Jar Mantra. This is the allegation leveled by the Amadi party. Let's also take you through the reactions coming in.

[00:04:40]Well, the Congress over here clearly stating that that Congress party is a national opposition party. It's uh uh the party who always stands for youth and Rahul Gandhi has always spoken for uh the youth of the country and therefore the reason the Congress party has every right to protest on uh uh while supporting the students who were beaten yesterday and therefore the reason perhaps the Congress party uh yesterday protested in front of prime minister's uh residents. The Amadi party on the other side has been claiming that it is the Bhart Jantaa party and Congress who had uh its own agenda in their mind. They wanted to make political brownie points out of it. And certainly it is uh the partnership of party and Congress that have decided that Congress should take over and hijack the entire student protest that has been led by the CJP at Jantaar Manta. Rahul Gandhi is the one who was missing at Jantaar Mantar never went to meet a Bijit Deepk or others and certainly it is now when the parliament has begun they have they tried to hijack in fact in the initial few hours of yesterday's protest we haven't seen the other political parties but uh lately it was Samaywadi party it was the NCP Shawar who also joined in the protest alongside with the Congress and they wanted to clearly to send across a message that the entire opposition is together with these students slamming the Amadi party over their comments.

Sources are telling EdTV [music] that the ministers have inquired about Sunum Vanguk's health. Sunum Vanguk remember was shifted to the Midanta Hospital from the Safar Jang Hospital. It is uh JP Nada and Jitender Singh who went to Maidanta hospital where Sonam Wangup was admitted and had told about the government's uh efforts to uh you know uh change the overhaul education system in the country what steps they have taken so far and while government has admitted that they are ready for discussion on just not the neat examination but overall impact of the student protest the education uh reforms and government is ready to have this debate in parliament. Uh it is also a courtesy meeting is what the sources are telling us looking at the stature of Sonam Wanguk and certainly to give certain directions. The Delhi High Court has ordered the immediate shifting of Wangchuk overturning its Sunday order and allowing Wangchuk to shift to a hospital of his choice. Meanwhile, the high court even asked the director of the Midanta Hospital to form a team of doctors with requisite expertise to constantly monitor Wangchuk and has even further instructed the doctors to administer medication according to the accepted medical norms and protocol.
