The video employs blatant clickbait to mask a localized report on political shielding, sacrificing journalistic integrity for partisan engagement. It highlights a media landscape where sensationalism often obscures the very structural failures it aims to expose.

Trump's Day Just FELL APART Over SURPRISE INVESTIGATION!
Added:Trump is panicking because one of his own congressman is now under investigation and that's just the least of it. Go back to February 2025 in Washington D.C. Police walk into apartment and find a woman shaking, scared, fresh bruises on her arms. The apartment belongs to a sitting Republican Congressman, one that Donald Trump personally endorsed. That was 17 months ago and this week the Justice Department just came knocking on his door. What's up everybody? It's Andrew and by the end of this the real question won't be what Cory Mills did. It'll be how many powerful people spent the last year and a half trying to make sure it didn't stick. Go back to the apartment.
>> For the second time this year, law enforcement officers are investigating Central Florida Republican Congressman Cory Mills. And once again, the case involves a former girlfriend. West Shore News political reporter Greg Fox has more.
>> In this Columbia County Sheriff's Office report obtained by West to Investigate, 25-year-old Lindsay Langston, a state committee woman and last year's Miss United States of America, claims to have begun a romantic relationship with the married Congressman in 2021 and for a time she stayed at Mills' New Smyrna Beach residence. But Langston says when she saw headlines in February that Mills had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, another woman, she says she broke up with Mills. But she says he began messaging and harassing her. She says he contacted her numerous times on numerous different social media accounts threatening to release nude images and videos of her to include recorded videos of her and Cory engaging in sexual acts.
She also said Cory threatened to harm any men Lindsay intended to date in the future, according to the report. In one Instagram business chat message, which is being investigated by the Sheriff's Office, Mills wrote, "I'm sorry to see this is how you treat things. Good luck to you. Thanks again for the videos." In another, Langston wrote, "Please leave me alone." Mills responded, "Okay, Lance. Get me his number and I can send him videos. Take care."
>> New information on the case involving Florida Congressman Cory Mills.
>> Last year, a woman told police the congressman had become physical with her during an argument at his luxury apartment in Southwest D.C. Today, the police chief confirmed recent reporting by the Washington Post.
>> The Post says police body camera video from that night shows the responding officer wanted to arrest Mills, but a lieutenant overruled him. Today, the chief commented on how the case was handled.
>> Um I definitely think there's room for improvement from the from from what we see there. Uh you know, as as the judge said, anytime there's domestic violence, uh there can be a lot of nuances to that, but if there's probable cause to believe that there is domestic violence and a domestic offense has been made, an arrest should be made on the scene.
Again, I wasn't on the scene that night, but we're looking into the entire situation to see what happened, but if there's probable cause to believe that anyone, if they're a member of Congress or any any person out here, uh engaged inside a domestic offense, then they should be placed under arrest. That's my opinion.
>> Next question.
>> Police did say they requested an arrest warrant the next day, but the U.S.
attorney at the time, Ed Martin, refused to issue one.
>> And he was only the first powerful person to step in and protect him. And the response from the speaker of the house, Mike Johnson? Well, you can imagine how he spun it. That brings us to the main part of the story.
>> Speaker Eric Cantor is the independent >> Uh I think well, these past 2 weeks, Democrats disinvited from their ballot after sexual assault allegations.
Two members of your conference, Max Miller and uh Cory Mills, faced domestic violence allegations. Why would you Republicans keep them in the conference, whereas Democrats are dropping somebody accused critically accused of sexual harassment?
>> Well, the the the keyword [clears throat] there is allegation. We have a process here. The House Ethics Committee works on those things. If If allegations are made, they work through a process. So, I'm I'm not in the business of commenting on investigations as they as they're in process and we'll see how that shakes out. That's how this always works and by the way, it's done for Rs and Ds on both sides of the aisle.
>> Florida Republican Congressman Cory Mills says he won't resign despite allegations of sexual misconduct and campaign finance violations.
>> Cory Mills is insisting he knows nothing about this investigation at all.
Literally, I know nothing about it, Mills said by text. In a follow-up phone call, he reiterated the point.
>> This is the first time I'm hearing about it before guessing the probe likely came from all the things stemming from the ethics investigation.
>> A third source told MS Now that the FBI contacted at least one person last year about Mills' finances, allegations of misconduct, and individuals close to him. The Justice Department and FBI declined to comment on the case.
>> So now the DOJ is finally circling. The finances, the misconduct, the people around him, and Cory Mills is standing in the capital insisting that this is the first he's heard of it. Maybe it is, but there are a lot of people that saw this coming for a very long time. And every single one of them got overruled by someone protecting him. The only thing that's changed so far as who's asking the questions now. This time it's the FBI.
