‘NOT GOING TO HAPPEN’: GOP Whip SHUTS DOWN Amnesty Push

[00:00:00]the House Majority Whip Tom Emmer. Uh whip, thanks so much for joining us. I want to start on immigration enforcement. Your governor, Governor Tim Walls is releasing people who are dangerous, who are harming children. How are motans reacting to this?

[00:00:15]>> Not well. You're talking about uh Tim Walls, I would argue the worst governor in the country. It would have been an awful vice president. Uh Tim Walls pardoned a uh a illegal alien, Matt, who uh repeatedly raped a 10-year-old girl.

[00:00:36]He was tried and he was convicted. By the way, one of his defenses when it started was this is uh what they do in his culture. Well, I tell you what, you're an American. It doesn't happen in this culture. And quite frankly, I I think he's should consider him lucky that even though Tim Walls pardoned this guy and motans are not pleased with him.

[00:00:55]In fact, the prosecutors were arguing against that from the get-go, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump, God bless him, h sent this guy out of this country. Quite frankly, got lucky because he probably should have gotten the death penalty for what he did to this young girl.

[00:01:09]>> No question about it. Now, we are seeing voters want that strong immigration enforcement that President Trump has brought to bear, but we are hearing reports of a bipartisan push uh to create some sort of amnesty structure around industrial farms. What can you tell us about that? Do you think the votes are there? And would you support that concept?

[00:01:29]>> No. No. I And I've got to read it before I can comment on the specifics, Matt.

[00:01:34]But I do trust you because you've been doing this for a while, by the way. It's nice to see you wearing a tie. Well, I'm not wearing a tie. It's good that you are carrying on. I This is not going to happen. What I do know is this. 14 months now, there have our southern border has been sealed thanks to Donald J. Trump and Republicans. And this is exactly what the American people asked for. This is what they wanted. We do not have a labor problem. We have a uh a law problem. You want to come to this country? There are ways to do it legally, Matt. we've got ways to do this, that you can come to this great country, you can chase your American dream. Quite frankly, the next thing we got to start attacking is the fraud issue that comes with this illegal immigration. And by the way, it even comes with legal immigration. allegedly when you talk about the Somali fraud in the state of Minnesota and I stand by what I said a couple weeks ago. I don't care where you're from, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Somalia, wherever you come from, we will celebrate your culture, but you come to this country because you are coming to be an American, Matt, an American first. If you don't want to assimilate, then you should get the hell out of here and go back to wherever you came from. You come here to be an American. You don't come here to try and change America to some dysfunctional utopia that you come from.

[00:02:59]>> You you mentioned fraud being a traveling cousin of some of these illegal immigration networks. I would just caution the reported 47 Republicans who've teamed up with Democrats for this farm amnesty bill. If they do that, every NGO will have a farm. NOS's will just have fake farms that there are no there'll be as much farming at the NGO farms as there was learning at the Learing centers. Uh and and please do not invite that. Now, I do want to get your reaction to President Trump's big prime time speech on foreign interference and election integrity. It really seemed like a lot of that speech was his direction to uh homeland security, the Department of State, the Department of Justice. But was there a specific direction you took from that for the House of Representatives? I know you've got Representative Kamik has bills that deal with Chinese influence.

[00:03:50]There are a number of them floating around your caucus. Do you think there'll be a legislative push in the House uh to to be a force multiplier to the president's direction to the administration?

[00:04:01]>> I actually hope so. I mean, there's nothing wrong with election integrity.

[00:04:04]What's wrong with our system is these left-wing media outlets who want to pretend that it doesn't happen, want to pre pretend that it's not real.

[00:04:13]President Trump laid it out for us the other night. We should never have our adversaries interfering with our elections. But I know this, Matt. I come from the state of Minnesota where we always, you know, it's Lake Wagon. They always want to be a little bit better than the average. Well, I tell you what, our Secretary of State is refusing to provide the voting records from our last few elections to the federal government.

[00:04:38]The state is charged with administering federal elections. Matt, you know this full well. When the federal government asks to see your homework, they're entitled to your homework. If our Secretary of State didn't have anything to hide, he'd be presenting that information already. And yet, he refuses. He's making the federal government sue him. I think this is part and parcel to what our great president talked about the other night when he was talking about Chinese interference and others. It's also right here in our own backyard with people like uh the secretary of state in Minnesota and our failed governor trying to pretend that there isn't a problem when in fact we all know there's a problem.

[00:05:19]>> Some of the left-wing media are freaking out over this new contract between us at ON and uh YouTube TV. It's dangerous that What American Dudes is being platformed on such a large uh digital streaming pay [music] TV provider.

[00:05:34]You're freaking out about the fact that people have choice, you know, like people can't be allowed to hear what they have to say. [laughter] O is not the only channel on YouTube TV.

[00:05:45]There's like dozens of them. So if you don't like what's being said here, you [music] we hope you stay. But there's many other things going on in the world.

They don't believe in choice [music] because they don't like the fact that we don't live in the 1960s anymore with three networks in your local newspaper.
