Spain’s World Cup WIN Was A Rebuke Of Israel

And I mean if there is a if if you think about recognizable faces in the United States and and on the global scale that have been outspoken about Israel and the genocide against the Palestinians, Javier Bardam is as up there as anybody you can think of.

So, they've been on this from the beginning.

Five minutes before the the game-winning goal was scored, there was a goal that was scored by uh by Spain and they took it off the board, they claimed that there was a yellow, they call it a yellow card, which is basically an infraction on on a particular player. And if you watch the play again, and one of the one of the reasons why a lot of people do not like men's soccer, in fact, a lot of people prefer women's soccer to men's soccer, is because there is a lot of flopping in men's soccer. They tend to overexaggerate, act like they were shot out of a cannon, got hurt, etc. And so >> you mean are you you're suggesting that men do not seem as I don't know hearty as the women is what you're saying.

[00:12:42]>> Anyone shocked? No, definitely not in this case because it has been suggested, it has been suggested that Argentina in in 2026 is one of the weakest teams to ever make the final. That the path that they were given was almost like rolling out the carpet.

[00:13:10]the the the competition was not legitimate in terms of what they should have had to go through until they got to the semi-finals against England.

And so the thing about England, as has always been the case of our British brethren, they are noted choke artists in the World Cup. This is going back decades. And so they had the lead late against Argentina and then they managed to blow it. [ __ ] Israel. [ __ ] Argent. I like that. I can get with that very goodly. It's what we love about our audience. The reaction right as the game con the match concluded. It's called a match. Once the match concluded, this is what some of the Argentinian players started to do.

That's why not everybody's necessarily reporting what it was that they was actually conversing with, but you know that somebody probably said, "Free Palestine, [ __ ] Israel, and [ __ ] you.

[00:15:26]Someone probably said that and that set him off. Hey, it's your problem, dude.

[00:15:32]>> Yeah, I think it it it does seem that way from whatever I've ever seen in the past with soccer. Um they don't seem to be violent after matches. Like I I have not seen that, you I I always thought it was much more so it that to me intimates that it probably was some sort of political confrontation and not about just being a sore loser. Um although it could who knows? [clears throat] >> I mean look, the whole world was watching. There's no question. There was no getting away from the fact that this was pure poetry in motion. This was Spain representing Palestine and Argentina literally representing Israel.

I mean listen, FIFA is as corrupt to the teeth as any organization in the history of sport that has ever existed and they have been very clear that anybody who wa who's been watching the World Cup and again I've watched it to a degree and what has been universally said amongst all neutral fans is that there has been a deliberate favoritism towards Argentina >> shocking >> the entire time. So to say that there was this sort of home field advantage if you will that they had to go through uh there's no question but the site and again we're not going to play it because it's silly. Uh the sight of Trump first having to hand Spain the trophy knowing that he was there. Let me tell you, there's I know we get into like superstitious suggestions about what is and what isn't regarding whether somebody really is the kiss of death.

[00:17:37]Let me tell you something. If Trump is rooting for you and he shows up to the arena to support your team, trust me when I tell you, bet the [ __ ] farm on the other team. That is as good of a bet as you're ever going to get because he really is the kiss of death. If he's rooting for you, that means you're going to lose. Like, I am as I am as convinced of that as anything.

[00:18:01]Egypt was robbed of their right to move on. And the coach on Egypt did not mince words regarding Palestine and Israel.

[00:18:19]Now, with that being said, if you think that the Argentinian players have [ __ ] up, why don't you take a gander at what the Argentinian fans in Times Square were like, who didn't actually get to attend the game, but they were, you know, few miles away, big crowd in New York City.

[00:22:32]In some respects, that flag that's like that's like the Soviet Union flag flying over Berlin.

[00:22:44]That they may not have their victory this moment in terms of being done with Israel altogether. But there is something inherently special and cathartic for the Palestinians to have this moment to know that Spain was fighting on their behalf.

[00:23:52]You know the chickenpox outbreak that's going on there right now that's killing babies.

[00:23:57]And yet for one moment in time, for just one shining moment in time, they can forget that they're living in hell on earth.

[00:24:08]that we know that this is something that Spain did for humanity because this is a massive PR hit for Israel. Everyone knows that that's what it is. In fact, Argentina and Israel, cuz they're one and the same now, as far as I'm concerned, they would have been better off losing in an earlier round.

[00:24:28]This was the most lucrative and watched sporting event ever.

[00:24:34]And there is no disconnecting these two elements. Zero >> really more than like Super Bowls and stuff. This game >> this was the this was this this particular match made more money than any sporting event history.

[00:24:50]>> Which really goes to show you how big of a deal it really is because at the end of the day, American football is still American football. This is international football. So the entire world, the global south, multiple billion people saw this.

[00:25:13]I know that. I'm talking about this particular event televised versus a Super Bowl televised in terms of that viewership. So no, I do know soccer is much more popular globally. Absolutely.
