Vintage clothing reselling success depends on understanding brand-specific value factors (Made in USA, vintage era, condition), seasonal demand patterns (summer slowdowns, holiday dips), and platform-specific strategies (Depop's free shipping advantage), with reliable sellers focusing on high-demand categories like vintage Levi's, Polo Ralph Lauren, and American Eagle while maintaining inventory across multiple platforms for optimal sales velocity.

What’s Selling Right Now on eBay, Poshmark & Depop!
Added:Welcome back to the channel. My name is Jason and I'm a full-time reseller on eBay, Poshmark, Depop, and now Etsy and whatnot. And I actually got my first sale on Etsy this week, so I'm excited about that. But in this video, we're going to go through sales over the last week. I want to show you guys what's been selling in my store this past week.
It definitely picked back up even more than it has been. We're back, I mean, right now I'm trying to where we were before. So, definitely a good week in sales. Hopefully, you guys are experiencing that because I know the slowdown is right around the corner. I'm sure that week leading up to 4th of July is going to be another big dip like it was for the last holiday week. So, I'm going to enjoy the uh good sales while they lasted. But let's go ahead and dive in. First up, we've got these Polo Ralph Lauren. Uh these are men's red sweatpants. Red not the best ever, but I have found with like anything that could be kind of streetwear adjacent, I feel like Polo Ralph Lauren is in that vicinity a little bit. Red is probably okay. I've done well with some red streetwear stuff. So, these sold for 39.
Uh they're good. I think sell-through on these is probably slowed down quite a bit since I was picking them up. I've slowed down on sourcing them until we get back into the colder weather, at least until another month or so.
Definitely good. I will be picking these up again soon. Next up, we got the first Depop sale. Depop has been doing great.
If you guys didn't know, Depop is doing free shipping right now, which is huge. Um I've had people even reach out to me on eBay and ask me if I have it listed on Depop because they want to buy it over there because it's cheaper to save on the shipping, especially with jackets and stuff like that. So, huge. Uh I'll take this time now to mention Nifty. I use Nifty AI as a cross-lister to cross-list to all these other platforms. You'll see in this video that half of my sales come from other platforms. eBay is 50% of my business, but the other 50% of the business is Poshmark, Depop, and now Etsy and hopefully soon whatnot.
Definitely check it out. There's always a link in the description if you want to try it. They always have a 7-day free trial and then if you use my code, you get 15% off your first month, which is kind of cool, but it is worth it. It changed my business. I highly recommend it to everybody. But yeah, we have these Levi's. These are not a great cut. The sell-through is not great with these 506. I got them pretty cheap. They were made in USA. They were '80s, so they're definitely good to look out for. You can see made in USA on the back tab. Good size, 36 by 34. And yeah, definitely worth grabbing if you can get them cheap enough because they're going to be a slow mover. So, if you're somebody who needs that velocity, this might not be the pair for you. But because they were so cheap, I picked them up and I got 55 bucks on Depop for them.
Next up, we've got vintage '80s Levi's 505 orange tabs. These ones had a weird fade. It was cool, but uh definitely weird. You can see it's like one-sided.
This one side in the back pocket area from all the grabbing the cash out of the wallet over the years that added some fade in the back. And then you can see on the same side of the pants has like heavy fading on one side. Not sure how they pulled that one off, but somebody liked it enough to buy it. So, yeah, definitely good. It had some distressing.
Uh for some people that adds value, for other people it's going to detract. So, you know, it really just depends, but I don't let that discourage me from pricing uh somewhere in the middle of the market. If it's heavy distressing, but still held together well, I'll probably price up a little bit higher.
But there were so many factors here that were like off and weird that I kind of priced mid-market on these 505 made in USA, which to me is around like $50 And I got that. So, I was happy with it.
They sold fairly quick. You can see it's the felt background. If you are new to this channel, it's a good indicator of how fast stuff is moving out of my store. If it's got this felt background you can see here, it sold within the last 90 days. So, probably a good pick up. You'll see some that have a carpet background. Those are anything that's older than 90 days. So, those ones took a little bit longer to move. So, something to consider when uh we go through these.
These ones a little bit older, probably 4 months. I think I picked up I picked I know I picked up a bunch of these, uh, probably like February, March, April time. Um, so this must have been like a February pick up that I picked up. This was my favorite one. I had it listed up.
It went through a couple of markdowns.
Uh, I think initially I had this priced at like 65 or 70, so it sat for 4 months and went through four markdowns and finally sold with my discount and it's 16% off going. But the Made in USA Umbro soccer shorts are definitely good or they were when I picked them all up. I This may be the last pair I have in my store. Um, but definitely good sale if you find them out there, they're probably worth picking up as long as we are in summer season or approaching summer season.
Next up, these are good. These Just Don shorts. And these ones are not actually These are like a reproduction that they did. Um, it's not 92-93. I think these were Y2K. I put Y2K on here, but they just have the embroidered dates on there. I think it's like a championship uh, years for uh, Magic or whatever. But these shorts are pretty good. It's just the sell through is confusing. You can see them sell for uh, $20 and you can see them sell for over $100. I just priced mine in the middle of the market and hope they sold.
And they did. On Depop.
>> [laughter] >> I'm excited about the Depop. Um, Depop only takes it's just like a charge fee, like basically like anywhere else, you know, if you do a transfer of funds, you're going to get charged like 3% um, basically anywhere and that's what they charge for you to cash out your funds.
You get 3% on it.
Next up, we got vintage Adidas soccer shorts. These are good. Uh, whenever I can find these, that's I'm picking them up. Here's the tag you're looking for with the flags on it. That's what you want to see. It's not going to have dating on it, but these are 90s. Uh, the Y2K ones or the very late 90s ones will have the dates on them and the tag looks a little bit different, but these are definitely the ones that you want to pick up. They're they're good to grab.
Uh they're in they're probably going to slow down a lot in the next probably like 2 months. Um might not be so great of a pick up, but for now I'd still be grabbing these if I see them out there.
Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren, sold another one of these 49 bucks. I got a little bit less than I did the last time, but that's fine. Uh these are good. These are worth picking up for sure. Uh I've gotten anywhere from 35 to 55 dollars for them. The sell through rate is really good on them. And I will pick them up every time I see them. So, if you see Polo Ralph Lauren denim button-ups, I think I only have one left in my store and it's a Polo Sport one, which didn't have as much traction, didn't have as many likers and views as uh the actual Polo Ralph Lauren ones did. For whatever reason, it's got like an embroidered Polo Polo Sport logo with a pocket on it. Um but I have gotten some low balls, so hopefully that'll sell soon, too. Uh next up this Polo Ralph Lauren rugby. Now, it looks like what would be a basic rugby. The reason this got a little bit more of a premium is because it it well, one it's vintage, it's 90s, but two it's got the elbow pads and it has the shoulder pads as you can see here. So, the more padding, the more stitching, the more heavier duty, you know, you can get a little bit more money for these things. If this was just a basic blue rugby shirt with no pads on it, this probably would have been like a 30 to 40 dollar shirt, but the pads helped out there.
Next up we got Jordan Air Jordan. I just showed these in a haul video. These sold in like a week and Sorry if I'm going quick. Um I am on a tight time schedule here. But uh yeah, Air Jordan basketball shorts, these are good to grab. I have been picking these up. I want to say the sell through was like 2900 listed and 3100 sold or maybe the reverse of that, but very close to that.
And they're good. They're you're not going to get rich off of them, but like 30 to 40 bucks is what I've been getting for them. The cooler the design, the bigger the Jumpman, uh the more money you can get for him. Some of them go for quite a bit more, but 30 to 40 bucks is what I've been getting, so I've been happy with that.
Next up, uh US military tropical wool full suits. Uh pretty cool and I couldn't find any comps really for a full suit version of this. I found a shirt and the shirts were not going for very much money. Um but I priced it up. I priced it up at 95 and then I had my discount running. This sold within 90 days. This sold within 30 days because it doesn't have any markdowns on it. That's another indicator as well. If you're new here and you see my pricing is either at like a a 90, a 92.50, 95, 97.50, if it's at one of those quarter increments, um then you know it was less than 30 days that it sold. If you see the, you know, the pennies in there, then you can tell it sold a little bit uh slower.
But yeah, this one didn't go through any markdowns, sold pretty quick, 79 bucks.
Happy with that. Had some flaws. Um you know, I don't know if these are good.
Maybe I just got lucky on this one. Not 100% sure because there's not really a market for the full suit, so. But I was happy with that. Next up this uh Barbour and I won't call it Barbour ever again because I got uh I got corrected in the comments. I just assumed it wasn't pronounced Barbour Barbour or I assumed it wasn't pronounced Barbour because it's like Barbour Barbour, I don't know. Uh but apparently the correct pronunciation is Barbour, so I will say it correctly from now on. Uh but this was a cool jacket.
There was uh I I looked up some comps and this was like a Steve McQueen jacket, I guess. I don't know. Uh it was missing a button.
It's kind of a bummer, but I showed that there and still got uh I think I took an offer at $100 for this, so 100 bucks I was happy with it. I want to say I paid $15 for this, maybe 20. Um but this was a good one. This was uh you know, the the sell-through was okay on it. Uh Uh but most Barbour is worth picking up.
Most of the jackets anyways. Anything substantial from Barbour is probably worth grabbing.
Next up we got vintage Levi's 517. I am very surprised that these sold for $43.
They're Y2K. They're not made in USA.
Uh they're a bad size. The inseam was not great, 28 inseam. So, all those factors going on, you've got these weird uh seam line or like fold lines in the front. I don't know what the deal with that is. So, there are quite a few pairs that I have found with that and it looks to be some sort of factory styling that they do to them. But, if somebody in the comments, somebody watching this, if you know what that's all about, like what's the deal with these uh like almost like seam lines that they add in here, let me know. I'm curious about that. I'd love to know. But, they had that going on. I mean, the fade, if you didn't consider that, the fading looked pretty nice, pretty good fading. But, the hips, you know, somebody got a little bit too big for them and they were getting too tight, so they like cut themselves a little hole or a little slice down the side of each hip to uh give themselves a little bit more breathing room in the waist.
So, yeah, I don't know. I you know, I pricing these at 43 was probably a long shot. Um but, they sold and they sold quick, so I was happy about that.
Uh next up Carhartt double knees. These are fine. I think I took an offer at $35 for these. Uh these are the ripstop.
These are Oh, no, I'm sorry. These are actually the good ones. So, these aren't your traditional double knee. You can see they're a ripstop double knee and they've got cargo pockets. These were a good model, the utility B342.
Uh good sell-through on these. These were selling in like the $35 to $45 range on average um with a good sell-through. So, I would grab these again. These are definitely worth it. If you see Carhartt ripstops with the cargo pockets like that, um you know, look up the model, look at the model, and look up the model. Definitely worth it.
Next up we've got an Abercrombie & Fitch wolf jaw jackets. Um these are good.
These are great. They have a good sell through. We're out of season right now.
Surprised this one sold out of season.
Some of this stuff does, but you can see it's a crazy fake fur uh lined all the way through it. These jackets are sweet.
I think they're really cool.
Um and yeah, you know, some of them are going for up to like two $250.
Uh I found a couple of them recently that I'm probably going to list in that range, probably around $200, especially because we're approaching season here.
Um but yeah, these are good. Those ones I think were a little bit cooler than this, but this is still good. Most all of these, I think if not all of these have like the puff print style on them.
Um yeah, the wolf jaw jacket, check it out. It's got a good sell through and sells for a good amount of money. This cool Polo Ralph Lauren Brazil big pony, super cool. The back uh with the big three. I I think this was the only one on the market that had the Brazil and the flag on the back. The rest of them just had the three on the back or had no back design. So I think that's why I got a little bit more than the rest of them.
I think these were going for like 50 bucks on average, something like that.
Um but yeah, definitely good, you know, obviously if you see Polo Ralph Lauren with, you know, you got your big pony here, which is cool, but if you see like a Brazil, a Tokyo, a New York, a London, a whatever you see on there, anything that makes it stand out, anything special, anything loud, anything extravagant from Polo Ralph Lauren, uh do a little research or just grab it, probably.
Next up we got Lands' End, vintage, 45 bucks. This one was decent, made in Peru, was probably Y2K. Um you know, these are good. The made in USA ones are better. This was a nice colorway, black and purple. There weren't a lot of black and purple ones out there. And XL, decent size.
Next up vintage Levi's 505. These are made in USA, which is why I grabbed them. 505's that are not made in USA, I do not pick up. I'll pick up like the orange tab ones or if they have a really good fade and they're still like 90's early 2000's, I'll pick them up, but outside of that like I'm not picking up modern modern Levi's 505's. They just the sell through is too slow. And maybe that comes back cuz this is like, you know, I feel like this is getting more and more popular this this cut specifically. So, maybe next year uh in in season the modern 505's will be worth grabbing. I'm not sure, we'll find out, but for now I'm not picking those up.
Uh next up vintage Barbarian, just a blank.
And these are good. Here's your tag right here if you're not familiar. Very popular rugby wear brand.
Um there's some factors to consider here. I This was a nice colorway, gray and navy.
Um it was a blank though. A lot of them you find have embroideries. Uh it's a lot more common to find them with embroideries than finding the blank ones. So, blanks are good, 40 bucks. You know, these will go for anywhere from like 30 to 75 dollars basically, depending on what you have, depending on sizing and all that good stuff. Next up we got vintage Levi's 565. These are the ones that I showed in my Levi's video.
63 bucks. These are These are good.
These were not made in USA. And yeah, you can see I'm made in Canada there.
I've heard people say that like, you know, the second best Levi's are, you know, either the made in Canada or the made in Mexico ones as far as quality.
I'm not sure how true that is. I mean, they feel pretty similar to all the other ones of the same era. But yeah, these are good. 565, definitely pick them up if you see them out there.
Next up, this shouldn't have sold for 33 dollars and I have no idea why it did.
This was probably a bad pick up. This is just a basic Nike crewneck sweatshirt. I probably grabbed this at the bins or maybe on a dollar deal. I had this forever. This was from way back. And uh Poshmark does not I I don't have price updates on Poshmark. So, whatever I price at originally on Poshmark is just where it stays until eternity, until forever.
Um so, you know, if it does sell on Poshmark eventually, then you know, you get $33 for a basic Nike crewneck hoodie, which is or crewneck sweatshirt, which is insane. I don't know, you know, it sold though. That was cool.
>> [laughter] >> Sometimes I don't get it. It doesn't make sense, but whatever. Uh Pendleton Shetland wool, you know, Pendleton wool sweater, Pendleton Shetland wool is good. Cardigans definitely great. This is a nice one, good size, size large. It was in great condition. Sold for $46.
So, if you see Shetland wool in like any major brand, probably worth looking into, probably worth looking up. People do seek out the Shetland wool stuff specifically. So, you know, I'll look that up. Um yeah, definitely good one.
There's a lot of good pieces from Pendleton, great brand.
>> [snorts] >> Next up, we got vintage LL Bean rugby.
This is a Y2K one, probably made in Peru, I'm sure. Made in Peru. Um nice colorway here, navy with the red, 40 bucks. Probably had this listed at like 45 or 50 and took an offer at 40.
Definitely good. The rugbys are slowing down quite a bit as we get into the warmer and warmer weather. It'll probably continue to dip until August, September, and then pick back up. But, this is stuff that uh I'll continue to pick up in the off-season because they'll just they'll they'll be zooming in uh in the fall and winter.
They're definitely good ones to stockpile. Next up, we got Y2K Quiksilver shorts. These are the Amphibians.
Um they're like a board short, but uh yeah, these are pretty much the Quiksilver like camo stuff does pretty well. I sold that other pair that was like actual vintage um for like $80, I think, but these ones went for 36, so happy with that. These ones weren't anything special, just like ripstop board shorts, and they were good. I was going heavy into shorts Uh at the beginning of the year, like February, March, and I found a good amount of decent ones, and they've been moving out of my store. I I I haven't decided yet. I guess I'll figure out at the end of this season if I went a little too hard on shorts or not enough. I I'm going to have to like analyze my store here. Maybe at the beginning of July, I'll take a look and see where it's at. I mean, if I'm pretty much sold out of shorts in the beginning of July, then I don't think I had enough in my store. If I'm, you know, if I'm sold out at the end of July, that's probably perfect. Uh but, I'll take a look and see where it's at. So, I have a better idea for next year and kind of jot down some notes, see where it was and how many I had. But, um yeah, shorts have been doing well. They're still moving.
Next up, we got Ralph Lauren. This is a 2XB. It's 100% linen, and it got $33.
Ralph Lauren linen stuff, grab it. It's good to pick up. Uh it's definitely worth it. Any weird material any different material for Ralph Lauren is is worth grabbing usually.
Next up, we got vintage Polo Ralph Lauren. These did go for $53, and I typically price these a bit higher.
Looks like they went through a couple markdowns, but you can see the felt background. They sold pretty quick within 90 days. Uh these went I I priced these, I think, at 55, and they went through one markdown before they sold. And I priced them a little bit lower cuz I'll usually price the corduroy Andrew pants at like 75 or 85.
Uh but, these had some weird fading going on that I didn't think looked great. You can see this like strange fading going on.
Um so, it looked a little off, but they sold in that $50 range, which yeah, like look at that. That doesn't I don't know.
It doesn't look nice.
>> [laughter] >> I It doesn't look nice at all, but somebody bought them. Somebody grabbed them for over $50, so happy with that.
Todd Snyder, Todd Snyder, grab it. Um never found a piece from Todd Snyder that wasn't worth picking up. It's just the chino pants, nothing crazy, nothing special, just Todd Snyder slim fit chino pants and they went for $45.
Here's the G-Star Raw. These are the um 3D tapered cargo 3.0.
With the Cloak Island camo. [laughter] Uh these are good. These ones are good.
The 3D tapered cargo as well as like the Rovic 3D are both good models to pick up from uh G-Star. So, yeah, definitely be on the lookout for that. They've got a few different uh few different items that are worth grabbing that sell for a decent amount. You can see 52 bucks. I think I had the other ones priced at uh like 65 for the Rovics and I think that's what those go for usually, but yeah, these are good.
Next up, Outdoor Research. I've been on a slump with Outdoor Research. I haven't really found anything from them in a long time and you know, these sat for a while. That's a nice picture. These sat for a while as you can see. I think I had these for like 5 months. Um but yeah, these were fine, I guess. 37 bucks. Maybe I priced them too high. I'm not really sure.
Maybe the Waddy Room pants are just not a good pair of pants. I I have no idea.
Um but I think I have like only one or two things left from Outdoor Research in my store. I used to find it fairly often, like once or twice a week. Um but I just haven't seen it out there. I don't know what's going on.
It's drying up. Next up, this one was really cool. I got this for five bucks at a Goodwill.
Um I just thought it looked crazy and it's like pizza backpack and when I picked it up, there was a comp for like $80 at that time, which this did sit for a while. It's a weird thing. There was like one sold and none listed when I picked it up, but the one sold sold for like 80 bucks. Apparently, it's a pretty rare one and hard to find. Um so, I had it originally priced at like $75 and you can see it's gone through a series of markdowns. I've had this for like maybe 6 months, something like that, for a long time. But, I eventually got $43 for it, so um happy with that. It was a cool one. I liked it. That's it's kind of silly.
Uh next up, Levi's 569.
These are good. We just went over these in the video. These have like close to a 100% sell-through rate. These are uh just modern ones, 36 bucks. They're doing great. I mean, you can get 30 to 40 bucks for these all day long. They are definitely worth picking up. You want to grab these. If you see these out there in the store and they're in a good size, these were 34 by 32, but looks like they stretched and shrank. So, somebody stretched them out in the waist, and then they shrunk in the wash from the you know, on on the inseam. Next up, Polo Ralph Lauren, and this is a another rugby shirt. This one was good, had a good pattern. Um 46 bucks. I had it listed at 55, which is probably what I wanted to get for it, but 46 is fine. It sold with my 16% off sale, and yeah, these are good. If you see them out there, definitely grab them. Uh if you're not familiar with the rugby shirts, I didn't show the buttons in this one, so uh I guess I can't show you, but they're going to have rubber buttons on them. They're usually going to have this additional stitching here at the bottom of the V for the collar, and then some of them will have like elbow pads as well as uh additional stitching up here on the shoulders. They can have um you know, additional stitching in a number of places to make them more heavy-duty for playing rugby in.
Next up, American Eagle, and these are the super high-rise flare corduroy boot cuts for $32. You know, I pick up these not as much as I was. I used to do a lot more women's clothing, but I imagine these are still good. Any of the like high-rise flare or uh super wide-leg baggy or the kick boot, that stuff was all really good.
Um I'm not really searching through the women's section as much as I used to. I used to go through all of the women's jeans and now I just kind of scan the bottoms of the racks to look for flare.
So I'm sure I'm missing a lot of these.
I still find them here and there.
Um but I used to I mean you could probably walk into any Goodwill in the country and find one pair of either, you know, super high rise, super wide leg baggy, the kick boot, the artist flare, the you know, there's so many models that are good or were good at least last season for American Eagle women's jeans that, you know, typically in a full day of sourcing out there for like 10 to 12 hours, I come back with at least five pair of American Eagle women's jeans that were worth grabbing. And now I'm lucky if I come back with one just because I'm not digging in as deep into the women's stuff. So is what it is, but those were definitely bread and butter. So if you do a lot of women's stuff, um you know, the super high rise flare, again, the artist flare, the kick boot, the super baggy wide leg, and a handful of other ones are are worth grabbing or were worth grabbing. Probably will be again next year.
Next up, Wallace and Barnes. This was a cool shirt. This was uh 63 bucks.
Wallace and Barnes, there's your tag. Uh this is a subline from J. Crew, higher end subline than their normal stuff, and definitely worth grabbing. These are good. This was like a heavier duty um weird I can't remember the name of this.
I did end up looking this up and finding out the name of this style of uh like fabric weaving, but I have already forgotten it. So can't tell you what it is, but it was an interesting style of fabric weaving that I had on it. But it was a nice shirt. It was heavy duty. I saw another comp of this. I did find one of this exact one that sold in like that $60 to $70 range. So I priced mine at 75 with discount with offers going on and uh got a decent amount out of it.
Next up, American Eagle original boot cut jeans with the next level flex. No idea if these are still good. Uh the sell-through was decent last year and they were going for around $25. So, to get 30 out of season is uh surprising, but uh these could still be good. I'm not sure. You know, I don't know what this Y2K mall brand trend is going to look like come next season. It's very possible that that continues to trend upward and stuff like this will be even better next year. Um but, it's very possible that that trend dies out. I don't know. You know, I would think the only one that will kind of come out of it, the way I see it, is that uh Abercrombie will continue through that. I don't think you know, whether this uh Y2K mall brand trend dies out, I don't think Abercrombie will die out with it. I think that will be the one brand out of the bunch that will continue to trend upwards. I really do think the quality is there. If you look at that stuff, if you look at some of the pieces, like it's pretty high-quality stuff that they made. So, I think um you know, I think long-term Abercrombie will be you know, one of those brands that uh is just just a staple in the resale community. Next up, vintage Lee Riders jacket. I put 70s-80s. I don't think it's 70s. It's 99% sure this is 80s, but uh it is made in USA. It's the 101J. It is It's a good jacket. This was, I think, a decent size.
Yeah, this was like a large to extra large, somewhere in there, like a 46-in uh chest measurement. So, definitely good. Um 147 is good for it. If you get the 70s one, so if it says Sanforized on here, you're probably going to get a bit more, probably closer to 200, maybe more than that. Um but, happy with that. You know, again, this stuff selling out of season, like denim is just it's still moving. But, I have a ton of denim. My store is at least half denim. So, um you know, that's I'm going to get some some of those sales throughout the year, I'm sure. But, yeah, these are cool. I love these. I I try to grab these whenever I find them.
And we've just got a few items left. So, if you guys did make it this far into the video, consider subscribing to the channel if you're new here, uh giving the video a like, and leave me a comment. Let me know your favorite piece that you sold this week. How has your store been looking? Are you guys kind of bouncing back from that first initial slowdown that most people saw, not everybody, um but most people saw, or are you guys still kind of slumping from the summer? I've heard mixed opinions from a lot of people at this point, so it's hard to say, but I'd love to know how your guys's stuff is doing. Um I'm always just kind of interested to see where the market's at. Is everybody feeling the stagnation of summer and people shopping elsewhere, or are people still thriving? Um let me know in the comments. But, yeah, we'll get into the last few here. Uh this is men's Old Tom.
I showed this one. It sold, I think, within like a week. And it sold for a good amount. These are good. This is a uh turkey hunting brand, and it's a collab with Mossy Oak Obsession. And, yeah, they're good. Very small market. I think there were like 30 or 40 of these listed, and a good amount of them sold.
So, definitely worth grabbing if you see that tag right there, Old Tom, Technical Turkey Gear.
And we got some North Face trousers.
These are like a khaki twill chino. I don't know. I suck with uh North Face tags. It's one of my least favorite brands, if I'm being honest. Um probably because of that. I get so frustrated looking up style codes, because the style codes never pull up what it is, you know? You search a style code from North Face, and you get 30 different things. It doesn't make any sense. There might be a good website for it that will help you narrow it down. I mean, I have better results doing Google image search image search then I do looking up the style code, which in my mind is stupid. Why have a style code?
Like why >> [laughter] >> It just it pisses me off if I'm being honest. So, I don't like North Face.
I'm not a big fan of the brand myself for wearing it either, but you know, the resale aspect, that's probably why it just frustrates me. I don't like it.
But these sold for 32 bucks on Depop and that was cool.
And then the last one here, vintage barbarian. Here's one with an embroidery, which most of them have an embroidery. We got the Kingwood Choir.
So, maybe somebody who was reminiscent in living out there, you know, days in the King the Kingwood Choir in their head and wanted to feel nostalgic picked this up. Or maybe somebody just didn't care cuz it's, you know, it's a cool barbarian rugby shirt. I'm not sure.
I don't know. People still buy them with the embroideries on them. Doesn't make the most of difference. I do see that they sell faster with no embroidery, but they still sell with the embroideries.
But uh Yeah, that's it. That's what sold this week. Super happy with this week.
Sales have been great. We are, you know, kind of back to peak, at least for this last week. And hopefully after this dip that I'm assuming is coming with the week before 4th of July, I am hoping moving past that we will start trending back upwards again because, you know, if you if you've been here for a while, you know that like I've been working from like when I started doing videos and when I started doing this full-time, I was making like 400 bucks a week doing this. And yeah, I've shown my progress. You can go all the way back to the original like what sold videos and they're comedic.
They're horrible. I don't recommend going back to them. But you can go all the way back and you can see like I started at like 3 400 bucks a week and I've worked my way all up all the way up and it's been progress.
You know, a couple little dips here and there up until like end of May and then into June, we you know, we dipped quite a bit, but it's coming back up. You know, the goal is to keep ramping it up. You know, this summer I am going to slow things down a little bit. I'm going to cut back on sourcing a little bit cuz I've got a lot of stuff at the house that I've been neglecting because I've been so busy. So, there's a lot of stuff around the house.
Um some bigger projects that I want to tackle and get done. So, for the end of June and probably most of July, I'm going to cut back pretty heavily on sourcing so I can get some of this stuff done.
Um And just relax a little bit, too. I do want to enjoy summer a little bit. This job takes up a lot of time. If you are considering this or you're thinking about switching from part-time to full-time and you have a full-time job, um you know, I would say expect the part-time and full-time hours to merge when you go into this full-time because that's what happened to me. I was doing part-time uh like 30 hours a week doing this and then I was working full-time 40 hours a week as a loan officer. And when I decided to go full-time doing this to make that work and to ramp it up to where it is today, I had to basically merge the two jobs into one job of 70 plus hours a week. So, um keep that in mind. There's people that do it you know, in a lot less hours. There's people that do like replenishables.
There's people that have a good source for high-end electronics. There's people that do all sorts of niches in this business, but if you're doing clothing, uh you know, you probably got to put in a good amount of work. This stuff does not uh it does not it's not easy, I guess.
Uh it's not extremely difficult, either, but it is extremely time-consuming.
And uh but fun, rewarding, of course.
And you know, it's very enjoyable, but just kind of you know, something to to keep in mind is like it's it's a lot of work to do this. But yeah, I'm rambling now. That's just kind of where I'm at.
So, like as far as future videos, my plan since I won't be sourcing as much is probably once every other week, I'll do like a haul video. And then once every other week, I will do one of those deep dive videos instead moving forward, which should be fun. I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully, you guys enjoy that content because it's coming around the corner. And yeah, that's it. Thanks again for making it to the end of the video and if and making it through this ramble, but I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your day and I will see you all soon.
