I designed a new type of eyeball with space inside to house a tiny 5 megapixel camera so it would be just barely visible behind the pupil. I also upgraded my specialized eye mechanism PCB to use this super tiny and low power vision processing board. I put the eyeball inside of my animatronic eye mechanism and I powered the whole thing with just a USBC charger. And then it was the moment of truth. Would this thing be able to track my face in real time? And it turns out it could.
