How to Grow and Propagate Petunias

Petunias are easy to grow from seed or propagation; for seed germination, place seeds on the soil surface as they are tiny and require light to sprout, then lightly press with a watering wand and provide bright indirect light for 10-14 days; for propagation, take terminal growth cuttings with 2-3 nodes, remove lower leaves to reduce transpiration, scrape the node to expose young cell tissues, dip in rooting hormone, and maintain high humidity in a shaded environment for 10-14 days until roots develop.
