The video offers a sharp deconstruction of methodological flaws, correctly identifying that artificial lab conditions often fail to replicate complex biological realities. It serves as a sobering reminder that a case series masquerading as a controlled experiment does not constitute definitive scientific proof.

Alpha-Gal Syndrome: Is There Scientific Proof for It?
Added:Hey guys, some of you were asking me to make a video about the so-called alpha-gal syndrome. I was considering gathering videos about the topic and then discussing it, but then I saw that Paul Saladino released a video about it, which is why instead I'm going to review his video and then I'll explain to you what's going on.
>> In the United States, >> [music] >> there are over 450,000 people living with a disease, living with a type of allergy that is so severe [music] that Western medicine doctors have one single prescription for them.
Never eat red meat again.
This is alpha-gal syndrome and you get this from the lone >> Alpha-gal is this supposed sugar molecule.
>> star tick. The lone star tick is exploding all over the southeastern United States and moving up north. When people get bitten by the lone star tick, they can develop an allergy to a sugar in the tick saliva. In this video, >> And this has not been scientifically proven and I'll talk about that at the end of this video.
>> I'm going to show you a therapy on camera that can potentially reverse alpha-gal syndrome, a red meat allergy, in 96% of people. I don't know about this. I'm super interested. I'm very curious, but I know a lot of you guys are very worried about tick-borne illness. You don't want a red meat allergy. I don't want a red meat allergy. So, let me show you what Solomon auricular allergy treatment is all about. This treatment might reverse alpha-gal and it might also help with other allergies. Let's go.
>> Okay, let's back up for a second. What is alpha-gal syndrome? So, alpha-gal syndrome is an allergic reaction to a carbohydrate molecule from a tick bite.
>> Right, but this molecule has never actually been observed. It hasn't been isolated.
You can read about it online, but that's it. And Paul Saladino often times bases his videos on uh some text.
It doesn't mean that what you read is not true, but if you cannot scientifically prove that it's true, then it's just a belief, and that is the case.
>> How does this happen?
You get bitten by a tick. The lone star tick is the main type of tick that transmits alpha-gal. So, in the tick's saliva is a sugar molecule known as full name >> Right, but this they cannot prove. How could they?
>> galactose alpha 1-3 galactose. People say alpha-gal for short. Thing is that humans don't possess the sh- >> This is the belief, the idea behind it.
That's not something that was actually observed.
There was no experiment done to prove it, none of that.
>> sugar molecule. And when molecules get introduced into your body, >> As always uh nice uh 3D animations, nice and colorful. I love it.
>> that your immune system has never seen, your body can generate antibodies to those molecules.
>> Right, that's the idea behind it.
Keyword, idea.
>> Your body can generate antibodies to all sorts of different molecules, proteins, carbohydrates, and other molecules.
Other mammals still possess alpha-gal, but humans no longer have this sugar molecule in their bodies. We lost it 20 to 30 million years ago.
>> Okay, man, stop it, please. Really.
Really, come on. Wait, wait. Do you even hear what he's saying?
This hasn't been observed in the first place.
And now he's saying that we lost it what? What did he say? 30 million years ago or what? Let's go back.
>> no longer have this sugar molecule in their bodies. We lost it 20 to 30 million years ago.
>> Uh, 20 to 30 approximately.
He's just uh absolutely imagining something.
>> So, when these lone star ticks and some other ticks now bite you, they introduce a sugar molecule that is foreign to you.
Your >> Prove that. He can't.
>> body generates an immune reaction, which may include strong antibodies like IgE.
IgE antibodies are the antibodies behind anaphylactic shock. These are strong antibodies. These are the antibodies behind immediate allergic responses. And so, what happens is if you get bitten by one of these ticks, these lone star ticks that have alpha-gal in their saliva, and this can happen fairly quickly. The tick doesn't even have to be on you very long. Your body can generate an immune response to this sugar molecule. This doesn't necessarily create a major reaction when the tick bites you, but the next time you go to eat any red meat, sometimes even to dairy or collagen products, you will get an allergic reaction. Often these allergic reactions are delayed 3 to 6 hours. So, maybe you had a burger at a restaurant at dinner, and then you wake up in the middle of the night with symptoms. What kind of symptoms? The symptoms can be gut issues, abdominal pain, or they can be full-blown anaphylaxis. You can have your windpipe closing. You can have hives. The symptoms can be very varied, but a lot >> There may for sure be people out there.
I don't know any who have some kind of symptoms. The question is why do they have the symptoms? What exactly happened? Do they simply believe that they were bitten by a tick? Or even if they were, did the tick actually cause anything?
Because usually they say that eventually you will have symptoms, meaning that you just try to connect it to the tick.
There's uh so many questions. This is why you need to do a scientific experiment to prove that tick bites cause an allergy to red meat, and that hasn't been done.
>> A lot of people get misdiagnosed, and they don't even know they have alpha-gal. They just know sometimes they wake up in the middle of the night or in the middle of the day, they get >> Yes, but you also don't know that.
That's the problem.
>> a severe abdominal pain. A lot of people get misdiagnosed as a >> Yes, and the same people eat broccoli and rice with their red meat.
>> IBS or other gut issues when they're actually having an allergic reaction to a sugar molecule from a tick.
>> But you don't know that. Why do you say that?
>> and bit them in the past that they may not have even noticed. So, where are these dreaded ticks? Well, Bill Gates has a factory of lone star ticks in Texas, and they >> Right.
Uh People believe that uh there's people who are setting them out, and then they create fake meat.
And uh if you're allergic to actual red meat, then you will eat the fake meat instead.
It makes some kind of sense, of course, when you say it like that.
But at the same time, it's also simply possible that you should be afraid of going out into nature, maybe they want you to stay in the cities because even subscribers of mine who should know better email me saying that they are afraid of going outside, basically, now in summer.
>> Drop them all over the United States in boxes to poison you. No, that's not what happens. That's just a conspiracy theory. That's probably not what's happening at all.
What can you do if you go into nature to avoid ticks? There are all sorts of toxic compounds like DEET or permethrin that you can put on your skin that will repel the ticks. We don't really know what these things do long term, and I'm worried about their safety. Potentially liver damage, potentially kidney damage.
Who knows if they even cause cancer long term. I would avoid those things.
>> Same with the mosquito repellents.
They smell toxic and then you put that on your skin. And of course, a small part of it will enter your body.
And if you do it over and over again, because you're afraid of ticks, then sure, what he says could happen. Liver damage, kidney damage after years of doing it, maybe even sooner.
>> Thanks, guys. In terms of natural remedies, these may not be as effective, but they are less likely to cause damage to your internal organs, and possibly less likely to cause other long-term harm like cancers. The three most common natural tick repellents are oil of lemon eucalyptus, citronella, and cedarwood.
Again, these may not be as effective as DEET or permethrin, but they are likely much safer and they smell much better because DEET smells horrible. It's gross. I would never put that on my skin. I'll leave it up to you guys. All right. All right, ready?
Feel your pulse.
On your, you know, like around here. Try and feel your pulse for me.
All right. So, in terms of food, there is a food allergy.
>> These are all samples.
>> Like all of these things that look like video tapes, these are thousands and thousands [music] of samples.
Medications, old fungus, you know, trees, pollens, I have alcohol, and my fruit mix. So, it's some sort of fruit.
>> Okay.
>> Allergies to fruit. Some fruit.
>> We'll find out what it is.
>> Some fruit.
>> Watermelon?
>> Allergies to fruit. We'll know.
How you doing, honey?
>> I don't know.
Haven't had it in a while.
>> I had it this past weekend.
>> All right. It's pretty recent then.
>> Yeah. You're allergic to any of that then. I can tell.
>> Okay.
>> Only a 1.5 out of 10 allergy, which is not that bad.
>> Symptoms start after like two or three feet.
>> Okay.
>> I would feel so you're probably not feeling it, but it might cause you some energy loss.
>> These are 3 mm surgical stainless steel needles and needles we use.
>> I can't even see it. They're really tiny.
>> It looks like a hair.
>> So, I've exposed you to the eggs, right?
You're energetically weak. Just check.
Right? Energetic again? Energetically weak.
>> Okay.
>> Um Now I'm going to use this to find in the liver zone the active electrical point. So, the liver zone is around here.
>> Uh-huh.
>> Make a little indentation.
>> You mark it somehow?
>> Yeah, just press and make a little indentation. And we clean with alcohol.
Okay.
The needle.
Slide in. Done.
>> Don't even really [music] feel it. And if somebody had alpha-gal, you would do the same thing?
>> Exactly. So, expose them to alpha-gal, the yields will come out, they're getting weaker, and I find the point that gets generated by their weakness.
>> Uh-huh.
>> I've been watching the whole procedure.
It's absolute mumbo jumbo.
>> [laughter] >> Paul Saladino is sometimes gullible and naive when it comes to topics like this, especially.
The guy seems to be a scam artist, but I haven't watched the whole procedure yet.
How can you expose somebody to alpha-gal if they haven't isolated alpha-gal?
It's not even possible. It doesn't make any sense. What is he talking about?
Pretty weird.
>> Feel in and 21 days.
>> And then over those 21 days, >> [music] >> the nervous system sort of learns to not respond to that.
>> Think that the first thing that touches any allergen [music] is your nervous system, not your body.
>> Uh-huh.
>> And if you interrupt it at the first level [music] of contact, >> Uh-huh.
>> you're going to interrupt the war.
>> Right. Right. And that's really interesting. And you did it here because this is a spot on my ear that corresponds to the liver.
>> [music] >> And the liver, you were saying earlier, is where these allergic connections are stored.
>> Yes.
>> It's good to be open-minded, but in this case, >> [laughter] >> none of what he said and did made any sense so far.
>> Okay.
Really interesting. Really interesting.
So, what I did [music] not expect was that we could potentially treat other allergies beyond alpha-gal. This is a really interesting therapy. There is a study looking at 126 people give or take. 96% remission rate for alpha-gal, a disease, an allergy that causes people to never be able to eat red meat again.
That's incredible. So, I've got the needle in my ear. I can't even feel it.
I'm going to have to sleep, I guess.
>> I'm going to check out the study afterwards.
Check the description of this video.
I will write about it.
>> So, my left side, but he said I can surf, I can go in the ocean, I can do everything. I'm going to [clears throat] leave it in for a month. My strongest food allergy was to honeydew melon, which is interesting. So, I'm not going to eat honeydew for the next month.
Might have to come back and fix that.
But, I do want to eat more eggs. I've always felt like maybe I have a little bit of a thing for eggs. So, I'll have to update you guys.
>> Yes, but he said that he's not really allergic to it.
Typically, that's what scam artists do.
They will say that you won't really notice it, but it's there, which is why you need a treatment.
Ugh, whatever.
>> in a month and see if this thing helps me eat more eggs or I don't get any sort of reaction to eggs in the future. Eggs are super nutritious. So, if you enjoyed this video, please leave a like. Please subscribe. Please share this video with someone you know who either has alpha-gal or has very serious allergies and is not finding answers. Potentially, this therapy could also apply in disease. I didn't talk to this doctor about that, but interesting stuff. Uh definitely outside of what I learned in Western medicine, so I'm still learning about this.
>> The problems with the so-called alpha-gal syndrome are that it's all based on observational studies, case reports, and symptom reports.
No scientific experiment has been done to prove it. They did do an experiment in 2021 with mice, but there's a lot of problems with that experiment. They injected the mice with tick saliva instead of letting them get bitten by ticks.
They didn't inject them with the saliva of any other insects.
They fed them homogenized pig kidney instead of meat in its natural state.
And then they looked at all of these vague and unscientific immune markers instead of checking if the animals are reacting allergically to the homogenized pig kidney, which they wouldn't react well to anyway, of course.
It was a horrible experiment.
They could very easily do a proper experiment.
You could do it with a dogs, for example.
Let them get bitten by ticks, follow all of the scientific guidelines, and if they react allergically to red meat afterwards, then you will prove that the tick bites cause a red meat allergy.
Why don't they do those kind of experiments?
I think that you know the answer. Thanks for watching.
