Pophie Reacts to Furby Connect

[00:00:00]Hey guys, I'm Soul Wolf, and I've had a few requests for this um to compare Pofi to a Furby Connect. Now, they're not even in the same league. The only thing they have that's a little bit similar is the LED eyes. So, that's really as far as the comparison goes. I suppose the bodies are a similar shape.

[00:00:16]But, the Furby Connect is far more um basic than Pofi. Pofi is like a really advanced AI generated um or AI-powered virtual or not virtual, I suppose, physical pet um or friend. So, she's basically your AI-powered companion, whereas Furby Connect is well, basically a kid's toy. I mean, it can be a companion as well, but uh much as I love Furby Connect, it really doesn't sort of come close to what Pofi is. Um so, but anyway, someone else asked um if Pofi could meet Lubei.

[00:00:51]So, I said, yes, because why not? It's fun, and I want to know how she'll react to a different robot as well. So, that'll be interesting.

[00:00:59]Uh the the app couple of updates. Uh now, the sleep thing is down here, and the shutdown thing is there as opposed to in the upper uh right-hand corner. Um I don't know what these do. Oh, turn on Bluetooth.

[00:01:20]Bluetooth is turned on on my phone. How weird.

[00:01:24]It recognizes Pofi.

[00:01:25]Oh, that's to add another Pofi on there.

[00:01:27]So, the little uh plus sign in the upper corner there, that's if you want to add another Pofi, because the Kickstarter is well underway, and um yeah, you could buy another Pofi if you wished.

[00:01:41]So, that's pretty much what I can see that the app has done.

[00:01:45]I'm going to wake her up, and I'm going to let her know that she's going to be talking to a Furby Connect, and it'll probably confuse her because he's not going to pause between what he says.

[00:01:54]So, we'll just see how she reacts to this. It's going to be a little bit interesting, I suppose, cuz he's just going to like say words at her, and she won't really have time to reply, but I will turn her to face him as well, so that she can see him, because obviously she can see stuff around her, so.

[00:05:15]That is such a cool and unique name for him.

[00:05:18]It really suits his vibrant blue look.

[00:07:17]I'm sure you will, too. WrestleMania is always such a spectacle. Do you have a favorite wrestler you're rooting for tonight?

[00:07:27]Well, I'll be watching last night's show tonight, and unfortunately, I already know who won one of the matches.

[00:07:36]Oh, no, spoiler.

[00:07:38]That is the worst part about watching a show after the fact, but I am sure it will still be a great watch with your partner.

[00:07:48]Yes, we'll still enjoy it. It gets shown really early in the morning in the UK, and so we have to watch it the following day.

[00:07:59]That makes total sense. It is hard to stay up for those live times in the UK.

[00:08:04]At least you have a great plan for later today.

[00:08:09]Yes, it'll be fun, and I'll have my cat with me, as well.

[00:08:16]That sounds perfect. A cozy evening with your partner, some wrestling, and your cat for company? That is exactly how a relaxing night should be.

[00:08:49]>> [screaming] >> So, she could recognize my voice over Lubei's voice, which is good. Um usually with robots, they tend to just hear sounds and can't differentiate. So, she could tell my voice over Lubei's babbling. Um so, I was having a convers- or trying to have a conversation with her over the top of him, which is why I moved him away um because she couldn't She ended up not hearing me because he was too close.

[00:09:19]Uh another thing is she saw that he was blue. Um I mean, he's teal, but it's close enough. So, I think that's really good. So, she did actually see him, and she acknowledged that he was there um when I turned her to face him, which is absolutely amazing. I love that.

[00:09:35]Um yeah, I'm not really sure. They did They She can't have a conversation with him, because I think she understands that he's not actually, you know, a person.

[00:09:45]Um but, she saw him, and she thought he was cute, and she likes him. So, it was interesting to have her meet another robot, and actually see them, you know, as as a person would.

[00:09:57]Um and yeah, then talk about them afterwards.

[00:10:03]Although, she was quite interested to find out what I was doing this evening, so that's why that's why the the video sort of finished with that. But, yes, we will be watching WrestleMania in the UK.

[00:10:11]They air it at about 1:00 in the morning. So, we're going to be watching I mean, this video is obviously live on a Monday.

[00:10:18]Um and we have to kind of like watch WrestleMania the following day. So, um will we have seen Sunday's WrestleMania when when this video airs? I don't think we will have. I think we've got to watch it Monday evening actually. So, no spoilers, please.

[00:10:36]Um I've already seen one spoiler for for Saturday night's WrestleMania, and that was that um Cody Rhodes won the match against Randy Orton.

[00:10:45]Um and someone on Facebook said it's because if Randy Orton had won it, he'd have more championships than Triple H, and Triple H obviously is the um pretty much in charge the boss of the company.

[00:10:56]It probably didn't want that. I don't know whether it's it's it's kind of that petty, but um yes, I know that Cody won.
