NVIDIA has unveiled the Isaac GR00T, a fully integrated humanoid robot platform featuring 25 degrees of freedom per hand and 31 total degrees of freedom, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 150 lbs, designed to run the new Thor computing system and integrated software stack for data generation and simulation, specifically built for higher education and university researchers to facilitate the development of general-purpose humanoid robots as the next leap in AI technology.
