Morning Flash: No Signoff by Iran on Deal; Ira Epstein's Video for 6-12-2026

[00:00:14]Good morning. I, Rebstein, with your morning flash update. This update is for the morning of Friday, 12th of June, 2026 by 8:25 a.m. Central Time. So, the big event, obviously, there's two of them today. The SpaceX IPO. We don't know what time that that'll get priced in the market and it'll open up. It could be 9:00, it can be 3:00 in the afternoon. You just don't know.

[00:00:40]Second thing, while President Trump says it's a done deal, Iran is not saying that at all. They have not agreed to the deal.

[00:00:48]Uh they say the US is as usual throwing in parts that they didn't agree to the things. And uh I just always think the Iranian government is slippery. They don't agree to anything. They don't keep their word. Their game plan is delay, delay, delay.

[00:01:05]I while the president thinks there'll be a signing over the weekend, I want to be surprised.

[00:01:11]I want there to be a signing. That'd be my surprise. So, while the market's euphoric, I'd be very careful here. What if they don't sign and what if the president has to go back and start attacking Monday, Tuesday, whatever day.

[00:01:24]I hope he doesn't get caught into the game of waiting forever. You got them on the run in terms of make them think, make them sign, get the MOU, and then you get your 60-day period, and don't get rid of your ships and your blockade. You give them little pieces so that they're they salivate with what you're giving them and they accept the deal. That's basically the game plan as I see it. You dropped down your $2 off the lows already in the crude, just to give you an idea. This is why I'm saying all this. You're almost $2.50 in the Brent, so you've come off this. Interest rates are adding back yield. You do see that.

[00:02:02]And this is this is what's got my attention.

[00:02:05]Currencies did nothing during this whole play. The gold market did rally, and it should because the prospect that we're closer to a peace deal than we've been before, that's bullish for that market and the silver market. So, you've got to pay attention. Copper also. So, it's one of these interesting times that you've just got to be real careful with what you've got. In terms of news of the day in a few minutes here, half hour or so, we'll get the Michigan preliminary consumer sentiment index for June, and we're looking for an improvement to 46 and 44.8. There's new products coming out from the CME, and they announced that in certain products, they're going to 24/7 trading. That's every day. 24/7. I wrote about this in my newsletter last night to tell traders what's going on. We're getting closer and closer to this type of trade. My goal is to see the stock market do this so that I don't have to wait until 8:30 in the morning to put out an update for stocks. I can do it when I wake up. In fact, I'd have them all done by 7:30 in the morning, everything. So, for me, that would be a big change in my life.
