Solid State Marine Batteries

[00:00:00]We make our own wires here at Solid State Marine. The wiring is super important in our batteries because of the power density that we have. So, you have to make sure that it's the right size for the right size battery. With all of that, we have all of our CAD designs are pushed through that cutting station where we preassemble the framework, the internal frame of the battery. Our cells will be laid out into this framework. Our own bus bars that we make, these are aluminum that are fit into these grids and they are positioned for the weld which comes afterwards.

[00:00:25]These then are put together. All of our QC documentation, it goes with every battery. After weld, the electronics are put on. The wiring begins. They're all soldered onto the cells in the group in series that make up the voltage. This is where the wires are put through in order to attach the BMS. The next step is it goes into solid state marine white case.

[00:00:42]After the battery has gone through the line, it comes out into the next QC section. This is where we charge. So, we have in our QC records exactly how are performed leaving our shop. So, after the battery builds are all done, it's gone through full assembly and through the QC checks, they are stacked over here in our shelves and ready for shipping.
