[00:00:07]Good morning, everyone. Today I'm going to be filming an English vlog for a change because I thought I haven't been doing it a long time.

[00:00:17]And I also want my foreign friends to understand one of my videos. So, today is a Thursday.

[00:00:26]I'm getting ready for breakfast with Emma.

[00:00:30]We're going to go to 3fe, which is our favorite one of our favorite breakfast places, and we haven't been in a long time.

[00:00:37]Um I'm just going to do it like the tiniest bit of makeup, maybe or sunscreen.

[00:00:48]I feel like >> [music] >> It's like a boomerang.

[00:00:57]It takes a minute for her.

[00:01:04]Just came down to the lab because I had to calibrate this machine and leave it working for the next 3 hours. Then I'm going to do another load, and in the meantime I'm going to use the microscope because basically what I'm doing is I I actually want to talk about This is my thesis, and it's been like a major part of my life for the past weeks for this term, and I'm doing microstructured alumina behavior, like the correlation between different doping concentration of magnesia into alumina, and seeing how that affects the brittle behavior of it.

[00:01:45]Also, I'm correlating with different sintering temperatures, like different heat treatment temperatures in the furnace to see how that changes grain growth and how that affects the microstructural behavior of it.

[00:01:57]>> Yeah, I'm doing mechanical and manufacturing engineering. So, this is kind of like the engineering part. I really like the materials part and the microstructure part. I think it's very interesting to see how because it's not like how you think at all. Because you you're you would expect something like completely opposite. But then when you look at the values, you're like how?

[00:02:22]So, I think it's interesting and I'm happy to be doing something that I'm actually interested in.

[00:02:27]But um today is a Thursday and I'm kind of over this week because yesterday was just so busy. I was trying to understand my I had a quiz and I tried to like understand all the contents like the same 3 hours like before the test.

[00:02:45]And now I'm here, but I think today's going to be a really fun day. And look at my nails as well. I haven't shown them.

[00:02:53]But um and my new ring. I've been really wanting a bell swing for years now.

[00:02:59]For like 3 years it's been on my Pinterest board and then I found a silver one for me on vintage which I'm so grateful about.

[00:03:09]Um and this is also from a flea market in London, a silver ring.

[00:03:15]Yeah.

[00:03:29]I'm going to tell you how I've been feeling lately.

[00:03:37]This brought of depression.

[00:03:44]I don't know what's pushing me to that.

[00:03:49]But I've just been having been feeling great.

[00:03:52]And I'm trying to be better. I'm trying to do things that make me feel good.

[00:04:00]Um like routines in the day, like trying to be mindful.

[00:04:04]Um but sometimes it's just really hard and not possible.

[00:04:10]And I just wanted to share that. And I've been just comparing myself to people I see online.

[00:04:21]I just came home because I was so hungry. It's 3:00 p.m. now.

[00:04:26]And I just really want to eat my bowl of oats and then I think I might go to the library. I have like an hour and hour and a half to just like to spare and me, Damla, Rochelle, and Cara are going to go for wine at 6:00, which is so exciting.

[00:04:50]Um but yeah.

[00:04:52]I'm just going to enjoy this with a side of accomplishment.

[00:05:55]Woke up at like 10:30 and I had a lecture I wanted to attend and I just didn't.

[00:06:06]So, because I really like if I really force it, I think I could have being like so fast and like just wearing anything. But like that makes that low-key ruins my day, so I didn't want to do that.

[00:06:23]Ring on.

[00:06:25]And just going to put some makeup on.

[00:06:46]After this man and I were just chilling at the arts blog her rings and then we had a lecture I think or is it just my lecture? Now I pee this lowest ticket. I looked at my to-do list. We had lunch.

[00:06:58]It was a great lunch. Um then I went back to the lab for my samples and then I went to the library because the next day I had a manufacturing class midterm, so I studied for that.

[00:07:17]I'm pregnant.
