This video demonstrates professional futures trading analysis using technical indicators like VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price), moving averages, and trend lines to identify potential trade setups. The traders emphasize that successful futures trading requires proper risk management, including appropriate position sizing, stop-loss placement, and understanding market catalysts such as earnings announcements and geopolitical events. The analysis shows how traders monitor multiple futures contracts (NQ, ES, ENQ) simultaneously, looking for confluence between technical levels and market events to make informed trading decisions.

Hey, Hey guys, welcome back to Blue Sky Trading. I am coach Becky here to hang out with you guys and see what we could see in today's price action. So, welcome in.
Welcome everybody. It's a little early for power hour. I get a little extra time today to hang out. We'll see if people can come in and hang with us today. What's up with everyone? Um, we're just going to see what we can see.
I'm not in a huge hurry to throw on a trade, especially since no one is here to hang out with me as we're starting our early uh end of day stream today, but we'll let people trickle in now that we've let them know that we are back on to close out the day today. Uh big day.
So, we have got some things going on everybody. There is earnings and Trump is speaking uh in an hour, I believe. Let me double check my calendar really quick.
Let's see. Does you guys know? Oh, my stuff is super low, super buggy right now. It might be my end of why we're kind of bugging.
I can't even pull up my Forex.
Uh oh. I hope it doesn't cut out. I don't know why my stuff is so laggy right now.
There it is. Okay.
So, yeah. Let me I'm just double checking that. I believe Trump is speaking 1 hour performance today at 3 p.m. Eastern, but I want to verify that now that we're back on stream. Um, and then we have multiple earnings for after hours today.
That's very curious.
And then the price action is really kind of choppy honestly. It's inside range. I took some trades today. I won some, I didn't win some. I'm green on the day.
Okay. So, it's not on Oh, it is on boards. Yeah. So, noon my time, which is 3 Eastern, Trump is speaking about I don't even know what um due to speak at Wheeler High School in Georgia.
We'll see. Okay, so we have potential volatility when Trump takes the mic at 3 p.m. So, we're going to have that on our radar. And then we have multiple earnings that are announcing after market today. There was some pre-market.
It didn't seem to cause much of a flux in the volatility before the market opened, but those were not the big heavy hitters. As you guys know, today Google and Tesla, Texas Instruments, IBM, those are the four biggest that are um I would say uh Matt can speak to that more effectively than me, but that are announcing after hours today. So, I am super curious because knowing that we have that potential catalyst coming um you know, what's it going to look like before? So, Trump speaking obviously causes a little bit of chaos sometimes, a little bit of volatility is maybe not the right word. um when he gets the mic. He any kind of thing can happen. So that is on my radar for in an hour. And then earnings is also on my radar. And I am moving while I'm streaming. I'm on my little walking pad.
So if that throws anybody off, apologies in advance. It's kind of fun though. It gets me some steps. And I'm having a little bit of a bigger office day today to hang out with you guys. We streamed this morning and caught some nice trades.
So let's get into it. Let's see what is happening. Um, this is in Q. I tried for the short here on the rejection this morning, was stopped out, and then I got in my long. It's nice. And then I scaled it all the way up. So, that was my morning trade, which is really good. I tried for this continuation here up to my value area high from yesterday. And a lot of resistance. This was where there was a ton of wicks yesterday was around this um 55 to 60 range. And so, here I tried for that and didn't get it. I tried again and didn't get it. Both of these were little scalps. This one went slightly red. This one was slightly green because I locked out some at here.
Um, so anyways, these are my MQ trades.
I'm good on the day, but I'm available for something if something good comes along. But I kind of want to get to a cleaner chart and see what the heck is happening. So, let's just do the daily.
This is my daily and cute that we've been working on.
We've been watching. So, I had this wedge drawn when we were waiting to see what was going to happen. We had a strong push underneath of it on Friday, and the bulls did step in at the end of the day, Friday, and close it with a good wick on that. And then this candle pattern here, super interesting to me this Friday, Monday, Tuesday, because Friday was bearish. We kind of broke below. We took out this liquidity of um early June with the candle on Friday, but immediately buyers were there and defended. and then on Monday pushed up and then it came down but it still held above that and then yesterday obviously took out both of those highs with the bullish engulfing. So this is a bullish morning star pattern for me. Um and so now that gives me bull eyes for today but we already had like it drifted down overnight and then we were bought up this morning. So we've got this buying tail. We're back inside this wedge but this is still like chop zone. So, what I'm wondering on the larger time frame is, is this a turn in the market? And do we want to come up here and test these sellers? And this wedge is probably done. Um, but I'm going to leave it for now and just kind of let it play. This this one I want to I want to move it to now that it's that's done. I want to move it here because this is kind of the buy zone that I'm looking at now. This is the candle that broke that liquidity. And then this is the hold that went in there. So I want to take the tip obviously of this push down and then the high of this count counter trend here.
And so basically capturing these two candles. This one closed above it which is a bullish sign. This retraced in and is pushing outside of it. So we'll see with the day. The day is young. But I mean Google and Tesla are powerhouse companies and so they could get really strong. What's up Mary? Welcome in.
So, I still have bull eyes, but obviously we've kind of had, you know, some price action today. We had a good run up after the gap down overnight. And so, this, you know, I honestly think that we might see some hesitation. So, I'm a little bit worried about like mess around and find out type of conditions for the next hour, hour and a half, and then towards the end of the day, we could really see some setups to run into the close because of the earning situation. So, super curious what will happen honestly through the night tonight. And I think I'm worried a little bit that it could be really whackadoodle here um between now and then because there's hesitation. We know that Trump's gonna speak. We know that those all those big heavy hitter earnings are happening right after market close. And so there could be just some algo scalping in the middle. Nick, the big money is probably already positioned for those things. And then Trump speaking, it's not on anything geopolitical for my understanding.
However, anything can be said in those situations.
So, I don't know that that's the hugest factor, but I do know that we should anticipate at a minimum some wicks during that couple minutes when he gets the mic, which is in, you know, 50 minutes just right around the 3 p.m.
Eastern time. So, now what we see is a push up at open.
There was a nice pullback push again, which which was less strong and then it kind of rolled over here on ENQ. Um, similar pattern on ES here. Let me put my initial balances on though. I think that is not it. Where is it?
And then this one.
So the initial bounce as you know is the first hour of trading. We It's honestly not that big on ES. ES was tighter even than NQ and Q had a stronger push up. Um retraced almost the whole distance.
pushed up, closed that side of it, but not with strength and rolled over and is coming back underneath of it. So, these purple lines here is my diary from yesterday. This is the point of control.
It was a beautiful tag this morning.
Now, we're sinking back in. This blue line is my VWAP, which is a soft support or resistance sometimes during the day.
So, if it can get down there, we can see if the bulls want to defend and do, you know, higher high, higher low, higher high, higher low potentially in this range here.
What's up? Welcome in Jonathan Rejandra.
Welcome everyone. See what we can see for the end of the day today. So, I get a little extra stream today. I'm going to hang with you through to the close of today's session and coach Matt will be joining us at any point um for sure by like power hour proper for the last hour, but he might pop in earlier. We'll see. Kind of up to his schedule. Um so, this is ES again looking a little bit weaker. The bulls were the dominant force. They were the biggest energy, but the bears have had some presence today.
Let's look at in Q.
She's back inside value here as well, inside the initial balance of the range.
Um, this is my first five minutes. This purple zone here is my first five minutes of the day.
Real glad I didn't hold this straight and definitely trying for this upper target because it did not get there.
[laughter] That's the way it was stop loss, ladies and gentlemen, because it was not finishing that context that I was hoping it would get to kiss this 60 level. Did not happen. And we're seeing back in with some strength. I don't love entering a trade right now. So, I'm going to hold off a little bit because I feel like this move is already underway.
We broke this level here with some strength, but I was still setting up and was not quite oriented to life because I was getting my kids settled. So anyways, I've not been able to try and capitalize on this, but this I'm talking about this confident break below this upper kind of consolidation and then this retested it really nicely this wick and so that could have been a potential entry here on the pullback to join the direction that was sinking. I did not get in. I'm not uh I'm not in yet, but I'm definitely eyeing that. Um I just started streaming at 11 or um 2 Eastern, so I did not have time. I tried I longed earlier and then I tried here for continuation up to this my 60 level and both of those trades were stopped out for a small loss and small gain and then I wasn't available to get in and so now I'm hesitant to join because this was the pullback and it's already so far underway. Um so I'm kind of just waiting to see honestly here if we can get some signs of bullish support but we also could keep sinking. So, this area right here is super interesting to me. Let me draw it.
This is where it's tricky to have this walking pad.
I don't know if I love it yet. We'll see. Um, so this is the pullback range.
This obviously broke the high and is now coming back. And so, I'm curious here for hold because I like this area. It's this support area here and it's my VWOP area. So, this would be a place you could see if the bulls want to reassert their dominance.
I'm going to wait and see if I can get a candle pattern down here, though. So, I'm going to go down to the fifth, the five, and see if I want to refine this level at all. It still looks good because I want to get this wick here and this body here is basically where the closure is on this. But I do like this area. This is my value area low here from yesterday. This is VWOP and this is support from today's price action. So, this whole area here is very interesting to me for a potential buy recognizing that we're in a really kind of bouncy day where there's been longs and short opportunities.
We are currently on, you know, heading down though, so I don't really want to go against that trend. However, this area is an area where the bulls might want to defend. So, it's on my radar and I'm going to wait for a really good setup because I've already taken, you know, a handful of trades today. So, I'm not in a big hurry to put money on, especially knowing that Trump is speaking at noon, but I don't know which time zone to speak in. I better just try and lock in Eastern. He's speaking at 3 p.m.
Eastern, right before the end of the day today.
But an hour before earnings. This trend line is really steep. I don't know it's going to be actually that helpful.
It's kind of too steep for my liking.
I don't like steep trend lines. I don't feel like they're obnoxious and not as reliable. Technically, if I had to put a trend line on the five, that's it. Um, which actually gives kind of a tight little window here. So, that could be helpful. We'll see. Um, we'll see if it wants to hold here. ES is doing the same thing where it's at kind of this key area.
It's at VWOP at point of control from yesterday. Um, I did a nice little slide down. This orange level is my resistance from yesterday. We, you know, hit it and had a short earlier. We closed outside of it, but there's a still bears here.
If you zoom out to the hourly, this is yesterday. So, this orange resistance level was drawn based on yesterday. This is the value area high from yesterday.
Point of control, value area low. So, these are key levels because they're the most recent price action value area that I'm watching. And then this is the resistance. So obviously we did get this last push up went nicely above it, but we sunk back pretty fast honestly. So this is showing me that there is interest on both sides and inconsistency and not a clear trend. So those conditions are a little bit more dangerous to enter a trade because you're getting signals on both sides.
In that situation, you want to look where might bulls defend, where might bears defend. So this is a very key area for me on the ES.
of that and we didn't quite get there but VWOP is above that and this point of control which is consolidation yesterday is above that. So this area is very interesting for me on the ES side of things which you got Mary and Q has five minute bearish divergence playing out.
Yeah, I know it's playing out already cuz it probably was right here. Um let me see if I can get Oh, look at this bullish divergence. I don't know divergence, but this is a real nice area on the five for the bolt here. All right, which tree do we like better? Maybe let's try this M and Q because it had more confluences.
It was closer to the level and we've got view up in the LVA. It sunk a little lower. ES is a little bit more bouncy and not quite as strong on the morning whereas NQ was a little bit more strong.
So, if I want to try and get a breakout in here, that's what I'm looking for. On a day where I'm expecting a positive catalyst, which is earnings at the end of the day, I do want to see if I can get in along to potentially hold to the close on the instrument that is involved in the catalyst, which is earnings, which are traded within the NASDAQ. And so, in that situation, knowing that it's coming, there is going to be some front running potentially to that um strong positive news. Now earnings can go any kind of way. The companies can report incredible earnings and the market can sell off and that could be like those companies were front ran a little bit and there's profit taking when that earnings news hits. So just because we're expecting companies to report that we're anticipating should have really strong reports does not mean that it's an automatic buy. Um so I want to be cautious with that too to just say you know great companies are reporting earnings obviously they're going to have you know good earnings. So then we should just be long. That's not my strategy because I've been burned by doing that. However, I do think that there is some understanding that there's going to be some positivity and the market looks like it's doing that bullish turn on the daily.
So, that does make me interested in a potential long. We did see some bulls this morning defending the overnight slide, taking it back. And so, that's where also I'm kind of looking to see if I can get a long potential pullback.
What's up, Jimbo? How are you? Green candle forming on the gap. Five minutes.
Yeah, I'm super interested here in a long. I don't want to front run it too much, but I if we could get outside of this and then do a real little retracement right in here would be my entry. Okay, I like this long a lot.
I don't want to get in a little bit.
This is the candle pattern right here.
Right, sink down, did a little retracement, funk down lower, got kind of right on my zone and just now broke structure on the five back up. Now, this is the 9 EMA and this is the trend line.
We're doing another test here. If we can get a close outside and then a retest, then I would like to get my entry in here for a potential next leg up.
I don't really want to front run it too fast, but I do want to get a good entry if I can because my risk would have to be.
Honestly, I'd want it a little bit below VWOP.
So, let's see what it does. Right here, we're tagging that that it's tight trend line, but we're tagging a trend line and we're tagging the 9 EMA and we're tagging this resistance here. So, I do expect potentially a pullback down here and then maybe we can get maybe we can scale into this Let's see what would that look like.
So, we're getting that rejection off of both those things, the 9 EMA and the trend line, which is good. But it did poke below the 5m minute, which it did over here, too.
If you notice, it pushed above and still sold lower. That's what we just did right now. We pushed above this five-minute candle and we're getting a little bit of response, but that makes total sense.
Trend is down. Trend is down right now, but the overall day is still above where we open. It's still pushing up. So, I got longs, shorts, longs rolled over and shorts. So, I'm interested here to see, yeah, if um if this support might hold. So, I agree that the trend is down, but I also agree that this was a really strong VWAP hold here, pushed above, made a new high, did kind of a head and shoulders, rolled over, but we're back here in demand, and we've had some bullish energy, and we have some bullish catalyst coming this afternoon with a big hitter in earnings.
So, I am looking for a countren. So, to each their own, don't trade unless you see it and you like it and it's within your risk capital. But this is a significant area of interest for me for a potential long opportunity.
I know. So I'm being patient. I'm not in any position now. But what I would want to see is a close above and then a retracement to entry like here. So this was it had turned. It was making lower lows and lower lows on the five. This was a strong confident candle, a retest and it held. It was at the little consolidation from the morning and it was on VWAP. So in here would be where I would want to enter on this long. I was obviously not on my charts. I was with my kiddos. Um, but this right here is the kind of pattern that I'm interested in to see if we can get here again, which would be a defense of this bull move and in the setting where we potentially could get some strong catalyst. I don't really want to short lower because we've had the strong moves up and it's been higher high, higher low, higher high. If this can make a higher low, this could be the next leg up. But also, we could keep sinking. So if I did, I would have to, you know, have reasonable risk and I would get in with half size and then see if I could add.
So that's kind of what I'm seeing. Um, but I do fully support that this um, uh, currently we're in the downward slope. So that's why I'm not in yet even though I like the look of it.
This pull up here, if you are downside is your entry here. So if you are downside, this retest of the 90 MA and the trend line would be your short entry in this wick for the next leg down. I don't love that.
I'm not going to take it. But I support that for you because right now the trend is down. So this would be right in you know as it was pushing up could be our attempt at the short but I would just um you know I'm very curious to see if the bulls want to defend this area here. So I'm kind of sit on my hand just a little. This is in Q that we just ran down and I'm not I don't see a trade I want to get in. So I kind of want to look at gold really quick.
you guys will entertain me.
Okay, so this is a 4hour chart. I kind of want to get my bearings.
So yesterday we got this nice close, came back down overnight, retested that breakout, which was this this level here. We got the close above, retested the breakout, bulls defended. So this is a really interesting presentation on the 4hour time frame. Now we're sinking back after taking out this high right here. So gold on the larger time frames is taking out high. So this is a closure above and then we're doing a retracement of here. So let's see what that looks like on the smaller time frames for gold.
She's just sinking back steadily here.
This is the hourly marching down here.
Let me see if I can put this area on my hourly chart.
I don't know if we can get all the way back down there. There is this gap here that we're inside of and we're just about to close it.
This fair value gap on the hourly.
So, we'll see what she's doing in there.
[clears throat] Uh, so shorts with the splash of long precisely, Auster. Thank you for clarifying. Currently, we're shorting, but I didn't get an entry in the short because I didn't come on here until 20 minutes ago. Um, thanks, Trader Cat. This I love technical analysis. And I think talking through it, drawing my levels, drawing them in real time, I really enjoy. And this Wednesdays I stream long. Um, I did extra little hangout with Justin this morning for an hour, but then I get to do the two hours of market closing and it's kind of fun because then I get to take my time with my levels and and figuring it out. So, I appreciate the feedback. Um, you are thinking 29200 for the shorts. Yeah, we're like right on it, you guys. Like this, we are in the current downtrend, but overall we're pushing up. So, I like I like if gold can do a pivot here, too. Anywhere in here, I'm interested in gold turning. I don't know if we have time enough today because she's doing a downward turn today, too. So, that one has farther to go. And Q, honestly, is at the most interesting level for me. So, I want to keep my focus on that.
It did get a pretty legit rejection from there, from that trend line and that nine moving average, but it's holding right in my area.
There's a good look.
I'm going to start with a small long.
You guys got to like feel good about your risk and what you're planning on doing. I'm not going to give it a ton of wiggle room, but this is where I want to see if the bulls want to defend. Um, and we sort of talked about all of it.
The older guy that fullports every trade and just yells out random numbers. Are you talking about in the morning cat? I wonder what you're thinking.
Okay, we're immediately impro. We'll see how this goes. You know, where am I going to put my stuff? Always manage your risk first. That's my jam.
It's the idea is to put it right below the pivot generally, but I just don't know that we're done retesting. So, I'm actually going to give it a little more regular because I'm only in for half size. And I'm going to put my stop the $230 rip, which is well within my means on this this 300K account. Um, so I'm going to put it here at 193 to start because it's under the bodies of these two, this pivot here.
It's under VWOP and it's under my value area low. And if we get one more retest here, I still want to be in this trade.
But if we get closures under VWOP, I don't like it as much. So, I'm going to give it some room for me within my comfort zone because I'm a lean for half size. I got three micros on and I'm going to see if this area can hold because I do think that we could go and take out and make a new high today if we get that sort of energy. So, there's a couple factors in the way.
Let's go.
Yeah, we do have um Mike actually streams in the morning sometimes and he is such a strong trader. He trades heavier than than the other streamers trade because he's been trading way longer than us. So, um I wonder if that's what you're thinking of because he is um I think just in age, the older one of us. So, he has a different style.
Um but I think that's because he's so fast with it and he sees it like wicked fast. Um so, he's you know, he does do the morning stream Monday through Thursday and he takes a little bit of adjusting to get his vibe if that's who you're thinking of. Um but he's a really good trader. So, I like listening and watching um and understanding what he sees and how he sees it and how he manages it. But we all have different styles and so I kind of love that that we bring different styles and energy to the charts and we can see what we can see. And yeah, I I like this longer time with you guys because I can kind of lay up a trade really good. So now we are retracing now, but you guys see this this one did technically close above this tight AF trend line, which I don't honestly love this trend line. So I don't want to put too much weight on it because it's only based on two candles on the small time frame.
But like I said, I want to give it a chance to break it and come back and retest, which is what just happened. Um, and I think that it would be fine for me if it retested VWAP proper because that's a very reasonable target and an area that can hold. It did it beautifully here. This is what I'm talking about on a VWAP retest is literally this experience that happened at um gosh that was 10:45 Eastern. First push up retracement right here along my LBA and VWAP is where we got this switch back to bulls. That's what I want to see if it will happen here. That's what I am trading.
Holding 22 for dear life. We're right on it. Let's see if it can go.
I'm gonna add one more here at VWAP.
Still not my full size, but I'm just adding a little bit more because it's within my trade plan here is this whole area of hold.
I think I'm going pause here and see what happens because if it sinks lower, then I'm just going to hold off probably until Trump speaks at noon. I don't know. We'll see.
[laughter] Hey, get it, Mary. You must have got in here short. I love that for you.
It's in the current downtrend, but I just This area is too interesting to me to short into it.
Let's see what it does.
This is on VWAP.
So now we get to see if it will hold or if it won't.
If Mary makes money, that makes me happy. You must already in profit, too.
So hopefully you probably have maybe your stop moves, so you're a winner or a winner.
I love that.
What you going to do?
Do you guys trade with BWAP? Anybody?
Everyone, anybody watch it?
I know some of y'all do. It can poke below it and it still hold like you see here, but I don't want a closure below it. So, we'll see what it's doing right now. Greater cat. Yep. Nice.
I know you went long a little below. There you go. Let's see. Let's see what she'll do.
Right now is my area. So, I either hold or hold. Um, this is a little bit aggressive of a style. So, I definitely, you know, like I want to talk to you guys about my charts, what I see, what I why, how I frame up the trade, what I am potentially entertaining.
Yeah. Um, and then we all got to like trust our wrist, trade a size that we like. Like I'm not trying to be a hero and trade minis, especially not while I stream because there's a different experience when you're streaming because you want to talk and draw your levels and watch the chat and make sure the stream is functioning, blah blah blah.
So, I don't I'm not trying to trade aggressive while I stream ever either.
So, going in with micros is my jam.
Plus, I'm newer to NQ. I I don't know if some of you guys know that who've been with at Blue Sky since I started here, but I um traded ES predominantly before and then I trade the Dow and I traded ENQ a little bit, but I hadn't really got into it and since I joined Blue Sky um I trade ENQ and gold more often um just because that's people watch them and trade them here. So then I was watching them and you know first of all I watched them for a long time and I started drawing my levels and started observing how they move noticed what was similar what was different how the energy was different how the leverage was different and then I started getting involved in time um so this is a newer instrument for me too in that situation um you know I ease into my leverage that's a factor where I would also think about what kind of size I want to trade and that is based on my experience and my comfort with the instrument so I'm getting more used to She does respond to VWOP pretty decent.
Also, ENS is right here at VWOP as well. She did a little bit of a hold here and then is doing the retest now, too. So, if if she goes, you know, if they all go, they could go lower. Um, but if they hold here, that'll be great for me. We'll see. We'll see. Let's see if I can put a trend line on this. That makes any sort of sense.
That might be it. So, she's a little bit ES is not quite had as much strength here, but is also kind of dabbling dabbling in a hold. If we got a nice closure above, I'm going to put some so I can get a little ping something is doing what I want or not.
So if EF breaks above 49, that's a good sign of a hold.
If it breaks below where 42 and a half break below on ES set alerts over there so we can kind of monitor that situation. They often move kind of in tandem.
I would love love love if ES popped above this and got a closure outside of that. That would make me feel great. I don't think I'm going to trade them both though. I think I'm just going to stick with the one I started with, which is in Q. I did add one as you guys saw on the VWAP retest.
I left my stop out of the way. If you put your stop right underneath VWOP or right underneath the pivot, sometimes you can get swept and if it's in your area of your interest, that's why I like to go in with partial size and give the initial trade a little bit of room because it can retest it and think about it and mess around for a minute and really test video out, which is what we saw here. Now, my goal is that this is the lowest it goes, but I'm not prepared to tighten my stop yet because I want to give it some room to dink around. Like look over here. This is a 20 minute retest of VWAP. It tested it, it was bought up, retested it, was bought up.
So, this is a 20 minute test of VWAP. We could be in for the same situation here and it could still continue to be choppy into the close based on waiting for news and Trump speaking in 23 minutes. Let's see. Uh, does Bla ever have any live events? We have not yet where we hosted traders, but it's in the conversations because it's so fun. Like it's so fun to meet other traders to have conversations to sit down to en enjoy a meal to potentially trade together. We're definitely talking about it and there's a lot of energy about how we would love it. But our goal is to get more people in the rooms, grow the community, develop some friendships amongst all of us. Um because then it will just everyone will be more excited and everyone will make time and show up and we have to give you guys notice. You can get on your calendars, get time off work. But yeah, it's in the talks. Good question. If S&P goes up, what do you think? Where is the lower high? Cool.
Yeah, it would be cool. Um, is there an actual office or is everyone's remote?
Great question, too. Yeah, no one is under the same roof at Blue Sky, which I think is more common than not, which is kind of a weird situation, but here we are. Yeah. Uh, so let's talk about Yes, let's go back to that chart. Your question is about potential longs. Yeah.
So, I think that they are at their potential higher. Oh my god, it's not it. Sorry about that. I think they're at their potential higher low right now.
Um, if you were an S&P trader, I would entertain this long here as well.
However, we haven't quite broken that.
Um, and we didn't quite go as low as here. But ES, you know, they've been strong today, too. Long, short, long, higher high. So, if this breaks here, this would be a really confident, not really confident, but higher confident potential area for bounce. Now, if we go along on ES, let me don't have a ton of levels marked yet.
So, let's zoom out to find them.
Oh, yeah. It's because we're in a little bit free air. Okay. So, this is my 4 hour chart where we just really stunk end of last week.
So, this last 4 hour is concerning looking, not going to lie. Um, could just be a continuation, though. And this could just be the wick below for the next push up. We'll see. Especially with those catalyst coming in day, kind of in the back of my mind always of can that be a factor? We could go lower. This candle is some indecision for me.
However, did poke above, came back inside, and closed there. So, now we're slightly under it, but we haven't really given a sign yet. This candle only started 40 minutes ago though, so it's not it's a nothing.
It's a wick on whatever whatever it's going to be. So for the highs is my question. So I actually really really like this wick because it's right underneath here. Tried to hold broke through. So that is at that 735.
5735 would be an area I would like to target because there's a value area low at 77 73 to 77. This little pocket here of like was support was support turn resistance sold underneath. Um, so for the longs on ES, I would be targeting 72 and a half if we could break this high today, which like I said, sound like a broken record, but if the catalyst has come, it could pop all the way back up in here with some strength. Like, it could be even bigger than this candle easily if there's something behind it that's giving it some pump.
Let's pull up in Q for that same time frame.
So in Q similar pattern 404 I love a round number. Think we can get to 400 today you guys.
I wanted 355 earlier and it did not get it.
But that's not so far away.
400 is so round. It's so pretty.
Could get there.
All right. Let's monitor this trade.
It's getting it's getting a little dancy.
What did it do?
So, she might be giving us our second retest. No problem. Always having to pull up uh the charts.
I don't have my target set. If you'll notice, I got in and I managed my risk first. Thought about it. Added one on the my area of most keen interest and then I place my stop. I don't have targets yet cuz I want to see it really get moving first. But I would be targeting Oh gosh, where would I be targeting? It's kind of messy today.
Honestly, I don't I don't love it. But I would be targeting maybe the high of day and then this 55 and it's 400 if I could hold it.
The high of today so far is around 40 41 would be my first scale if this trade really gets moving.
But it's just it's just dancing right now, so I'm not even really worried about it. Oh, activation code. So, the new one is Blue Sky 50 for 50% off. And there's there's a 30% off. Let me grab it.
30 off. Yeah, that's what it is. I don't want to tell you guys wrong. Um, I'm put in the code.
30 is the current code. Get you 30% off of your launch or orbit plans.
Let me see if that has an end date on it. Limited time. I think it's still active.
20 pips down.
I'm sorry, Mary. I do want you to get your target and I want to make sure you're in a protected trade and I want us all to win.
I'm not going to be mad if they hold here, but um I also want you to lock in profit. So, this VWAP is a very interesting level for me. And this what I talked to you guys about like don't I don't tend to squeeze around VWAP. I tend to like give it a little bit of wiggle room because it sometimes takes a minute to really think about this level and then it can make a decision. So, my stop is a bit out of the way and it's based on I leveraged in based on how much risk I wanted to take. Um, and so I'm going to give it some time to see, but if it takes it takes me out, takes me out, I'm going to leave my stop where it is for this trade regardless until it gets close to a T1 for target if we pop and then I'll manage it. But if it's still just going sideways, um, then this is the risk that I'm comfortable with.
And if I have to hold it until when Trump talks, so be it. Um, I've accepted the risk and I've kept it smaller size so it's not any kind of thing. I'll still be good on the day.
Yes. Cha. I'm sick of 222. Also, just go just sort that. Sort it out. Sort it out. Make it happen. Come on.
We shall see. and Mary, if you find time, you should maybe throw BU up on a chart when you're doing back testing and see if it's a part of your structure that you see. Um, because I learned that four years ago and so it has always stuck with me because it's not always applicable, but it is applicable more often than not is what I'm finding because like this is literally a case in point and I can point them almost every single day where it will give a reaction. It is not at all foolproof.
nothing in the market is, but it's a dynamic support or resistance and a target at the end of the day. Not uncommonly because it's kind of the mean volume weighted average price of a of a time period. It resets every day when market closes and then it opens after that. You can use it with um after hours turned off or left on. gives slightly different numbers if you have um pre-market data in or if you only have New York session in but in general there's a reaction there almost always so I will use it as a target and then I will use it as a potential hold area such as what I'm doing right now there is a consolidation here for the higher low earlier and so now I'm wondering too if we can hold above this make another higher low make another push up that's the play that I hunted am involved with now I won't take unlimited risk. So I placed my stop base on giving the VWOP a little bit of wiggle room getting just below my value low from yesterday and just below this pivot here. This was too much for me. This size is too much. It was almost double my wrist to go down below this pivot. I don't think it's necessary because I'm trying for a higher low.
Uh it's just VWAP. Yeah. Yeah. It's just plain VWAP. I don't change any of the settings on it.
You can monkey with it. I don't I don't have that. I don't feel the need to because I think it is designed to be pretty solid and I don't know enough to try and make it better. I probably just monkey with it, make it weird.
Doubt theory is OG. Like that is the core strategy. So I 100% support that.
But I also know that there's pivots and you know like on the larger time frame, Dow theory is here. So it's like what time frame are you trading on? If you zoom into the smaller time frames, absolutely lower highs, lower lows. But if we go out to let's see like the 30 minute higher high, higher low, higher high, we could be making a higher low here. So we could be in the turn here. Now obviously this isn't closed. You know, we need more information. But you know the market is fractal. So on the downward side there was a move, but you have to manage it on the 52. And then on the moving up here, you know, just think about for me I'm thinking we have two hours left in the day. What could it do? It could absolutely just screw around in the inside of the day range totally.
What would be the rationale for why it would want to go up versus down lower.
So we have positive earnings, expected positive earnings coming at market close today. There's a lot of excitement around that. And so sometimes people want to buy into it to catch a pop because there's multiples that have done really well in the past on earnings. And so I think anticipating a potential bullish move at close, people might want to front that and get in. Now we've had this nice pullback. Where would they pull back to and hold? So I was looking at the chart and I'm like, this is of consolidation that did make a higher high. So Dow theory, we slid back to it.
I like that it was a confluence of this consolidation and hold my VWOP and my value area low from yesterday. So this entire area was where I wanted in.
So that's where I got in a little bit here when I saw the bulls and then I gave it room and then I added when we tagged VWAP here. And now I'm just going to hold it the position size because honestly right now we're not so far from Trump speaking 13 minutes. So um I am going to hold this trade because I think my read feel good about it. So, I'm going to hold it and hope hope that um the speaking event does not have a negative impact in what I have going on here. If it does, I accept the loss.
So, we are nice in profit. My average fill is 28.
don't feel a strong urge to put my profits on take profits on here because I want to try and hold it but think I will anyway. Do you see how this trend line and the nine moving average is being violated? You know like we we got some closures above we got some closures above this the downward trend here is broken on the five and breaking on the 15 and 30 if it continues. So that's what we're doing. So, let me put let me put let's see.
Yeah, I want to sell two at taking out the high of the day. So, I'm going to put this at See, I got to get zoom in here because this walking pad messes me up with trying to put my levels right. So, I want 4150 just below the tip there for my scale on this long if she flies. And then I want to put my full TP just under that 400.
397 sounds good. Um, now these are hopeful because that would be a big move. Um, because we only have an hour and 10 minutes left.
I like see what she does.
This gave a wick getting a little bit of response from this area of consolidation. This needs to break for this trade to work. I am still not ready to tighten this any further. I want to give it a little bit more time to think about it life and make some choices here because we have time.
I might consider I'm going to consider moving my stop up before Trump speaks at three. I'm not like in a big old hurry for that.
>> [laughter] >> Ah, cheers to all of us because Mary's short too. This is so weird. Oh god. Do I mean we're going to see what happens really? I try but couldn't understand.
Damn close actually started joining the stream. Um, and the top of the day today there was one minute divergence very tight. Yeah, I like the divergence on the early one today on the on the roll over an hour or so ago. I just wasn't there so I couldn't get in on it.
Oh man, Ja. No, spooking me. I'm going to hold. I'm going to hold. It could fall. We are in a downtrend. It's lagging out and consolidating right now.
We'll see.
I'm still gonna hold.
What's it going to do? One of us will be right. [laughter] You can't. You know what? When Matt gets on, I need to claim my credit for being a bull today cuz I I have bare eyes more often than I don't.
Like, I like I like shorting. I like the bare moves, but I try to always just stay present with the market, you know?
Like, I like getting a short off because it can just sink. Um, but I [laughter] I I need to stay present with the market.
Like I've had to grow into that and not short every new high that I've ever seen on every chart because that has bit me more than it hasn't. So, we'll see. I'm trying to see if I can get some move up here.
And I could have taken it was up to like 150 in profit, but I want to see if I can hold this through the next little chunk of time here. See if it can get a move off. This is taking its sweet time here, which means in theory it means it's going to break one way or the other. So, good for some, not good for others. We're just going to see what plays out here.
We're going to see. I do like how VWOP at this point is holding.
I also like how most of the days price action has been above VWOP because that shows that mostly we're pushing higher on the whole day range. So also gives me a little bit of bullish bias, but we are in a downtrend when we came into this. So I could be wrong and it will take my licks and lick my wounds if it holds 222.
Really thinking around there.
Yeah, I they very well could, which would be good for you and Mary.
I think I had like six something in profit this morning. So, this doesn't even cut me down. So, I got a little bit of house money. Not that that's why anyone needs to trade, but answer. Quick message.
Organizing the lives of my children is my full-time job. I have a bunch of part times.
So, you know, it's always always on the radar of who's picking up who when and who's got who and what do I have to say who and who where. So, anyway, let's see what she does here.
Come on, pump it.
I mean, pump it for me. You guys fell.
I I see if we can break above what level is that? 273.
That's strong cuz that was the last um real pivot and wick and bears on this leg down that we were in. We flirted with the uh 54. So 54 to 73. If it gets above there, then I'm golden. I'll put myself into profit. Let it go. But as I said, I still am willing to take this risk even if it goes against me because I like the position that I got. And I don't want to squeeze it, get taken out, and then be irritated if it does move without me.
It's sort of like what would what would take me off the most? Let's not engage in that. And I don't know that it would necessarily take me off if it took me out my stop and then moved. I wouldn't love it. I would wish I was still in the trade. So, by giving it a little bit more room now, I'm allowing it the space to really take the move.
Yeah.
All right. That was a beautiful close on that five. Now, we are five minutes ahead of Trumpster. So, see what happens there.
But this this looks good. Looks good for a little turn.
We are at the first resistance of these two wicks here. So for my trade to continue, we will get some momentum under us. We only have just under an hour left. So we got to see see what she does.
I'm going to throw an alert on here. So I like it when I get the little pings. I don't know. Do you guys use alerts? Tell me if you guys do because I love me some alerts.
I just set one at 2715 because that's the break of this wick and that would um warm my heart and soul. So, I want to hear about it. I want a little ding. I want a little ding to tell me that my heart and soul gets to be warm and that way I you Dan. Yeah. Okay. I love me some alerts because sometimes I multitask. Sometimes I want to go change the laundry or refill my coffee or whatever, make manage, make lunch. And so by having alerts, I don't have to set every candle pattern and my nervous system stays calmer because I'm not trying to micromanage everything and I just know either my stop was hit, my top profit was hit, or it pinged because it got to an area of my interest and I want to come and see if I have a trade potential if I'm not in something. So I do love alerts. If I have to leave the house and I'm in a trade, I will set alerts and then while I'm out, I will know either I was stopped or I was targeted.
I was hoping this would be farther in profit before Trump goes live.
It's not happening.
But this on the five was a confident close above the 90 MA. And now we're getting a little retracement.
So I'm fine with it. There is some distance here between my stop loss and where we're at. So that should give room for a little bit of wick action to not hit me. Unless the move becomes down, then I'll be taken out. But if we wick a little bit, I should be within the range of variance ideally, not be hit.
That's how I see it. But we all got our own eyes and our own experience and our own vantage points and all that jazz.
See, let's check on this S&P.
Okay, she did the same. You know, kind of dancing, trying to hold, getting some bowls involved. still fight, still sideways, still consolidating.
So, we need to see what she's going to do here, too. My thought my my um alert on ES is set at 75.49 is the break of here, this wick, which should be great. There's three wicks basically here. These, this one, this one, and this one. So, that would be a nice confident push on the ES for that long.
It is 200 in profit which is great money. Um I want to just I were talking earlier about see green take green right but I only have four and I want to I want to give it a little bit of time. I have the trade entry that I want. I have a hypothesis that supports a potential move to the outside.
It'd be fun to write it.
That's my theory.
What up, Laski? How are you?
Nice to see you.
J's been hanging. We're debating bulls and bears right now.
Hello. Hello, Mink. Uh bottom of the head and shoulders powdered form with the one minute divergence going up. We are absolutely approaching the bottom of this head and shoulder pattern. It's a muted head and shoulder. She's a roll real short for head. Um but it is a triple top almost here inside this this range here. So we are approaching the bottom of that which might be a good scale opportunity honestly.
Maybe I will do one one and one at my scaling points. It's like a four. Lock in some profits. Let's see. Let's play with a little bit.
put one right at the tip of that. That's that 75, right where that one rejected earlier.
And then I want to put this one back at my 41 and a half.
Those would be my scales if we really pop.
That was a good call, Mary. Uh here.
here.
Team Bull. Okay. Okay. Matt's coming in.
He's got some support for us. Feeting my Jess being soon.
You coming? Coming to hang out.
Remind me that we can be team Bull and it's all going to be fine.
All right. So she this is noon and theory Trump is talking. I don't know.
Sometimes those things are delayed but I don't see awake or anything.
So that's great. That's good for me.
We got Matt in the house. What is up my friend? How are you? How's your day?
>> Day is going fantastic. excited to be here with the team uh to break down power hour and uh looking forward to definitely probably not uh the president speaking while I'm in a trade but uh definitely looking forward to uh uh Google Service Now Tesla Texas Instruments uh earnings report tonight.
>> I'm very very excited to see specifically what Google does. Um, but I would I would say Tesla and and uh Service Now are also very important.
>> Uhhuh.
>> But uh I'm anchoring on Google tonight.
>> Okay, cool. Well, we >> I'm also anchoring on this reversal on the the ES. I'm I'm cheering on team bull as well.
>> Yeah. Okay. Okay. We've got some mixed thoughts in the crew today. I am obviously in a long and on MNQ, but I was looking at AS because she did a nice retracement to this area here where it's, you know, an area of interest from yesterday above VWAP kind of holding here, consolidating. So, oh, now she's going back.
>> Um, days uh last couple days bullish uh markets testing breakout levels pulling back to VWOP.
I kind of feel like uh you want to give the bulls an opportunity in in a bullish trend on above VWAP. Um although >> I I could I could be convinced on underneath VWAP but not above VWAP. I can't be convinced [clears throat] on the bare side.
>> Same. Okay. So that's what I was thinking is higher high, higher low, higher high. Then we came back down. So I started streaming in here and I was like I just this area makes me gives me the feels that it might want to defend the bulls especially knowing we have this positive catalyst coming in later.
So I structured my trade in here and I got in in here to to and um >> I was with one of my coach uh coaching students during that session.
>> Uh I wasn't watching what you were doing. Uh we did the exact same trade.
>> Yes.
>> For the exact same reason. Now, we did it on the ES. Um the the ENQ was a little bit tighter against VWAP, but >> um we did do it on the ES. That's what he trades as the ES. But very similar trade structure, very similar trade idea. Um ultimately where we came to the conclusion was anything that you do as a bull, speaking as a bull, anything you do underneath the 7550 level on the ESU, >> you're you're front running. you're you're you're absolutely front running you're front running that larger breakout and because you have a couple clean triggers there at 4748 going into the 50 level but ultimately confirmation on this pullback is above 50.
>> Yeah.
>> Um stop loss we put underneath VWAP to to have VWAP act as a support level. Uh that's the exact same thing you did as well. And uh so uh uh I I shall say great minds think alike right now. Um but uh on the bare side of the equation because you always got to think both sides of the ledger. Um and on the bare side, you know, there's there's some dark cloud overhead due to the geopolitical situation. It'll be interesting to see what the president has to say. Um but uh I underneath VWAP, yeah, you could you can convince me to something uh to see continuation to the downside. But as of right now, I think this is a bullish pattern and and giving the bulls a little bit of uh leeway as they uh try to hold pattern here.
Okay, that's what I saw too. I saw on the larger time frames that scoop which we talked about yesterday of Friday, Monday, Tuesday's candles looked like a morning star at a very interesting level on the ENQ and ES. And so that daily pattern has been in the back of my mind and the fact that intraday today on the larger time frames 30-minut hourly, we saw higher highs and higher lows. And so that's why I was kind of hunting the potential next higher low because it was too late for me to join the short um when I hopped on. And so and I just picked ENQ honestly because we were closer to VWAP and so it was like closer almost to my area of interest. But both are doing very very similar pattern which I like. So I have alert set to see if we can pop. Funny you said the 7550 because at 70 that's right here that's these wicks. I put an alert at 49 so that I get a trigger to see if they're up here for if I'm looking at ENQ at the time. If we could break out of this consolidation to the upside, that looks really good for taking out the high of the morning.
>> Yeah, I I did go above 47 on the front run.
>> And the reason was there was four candles that were like the exact top of those wicks were 47 47 47 47. So I'm like, oh, if they're telling me that's the top, I'm going to just get it right above 47. So I did I did get early here.
I probably should have waited. Uh, one of those things where Matt, confirmation is the key to the insurance that you're right on your projection. Um, but uh, BL, you're making me blush, brother.
You're making me blush.
>> It's good to see you, though, mate.
>> I'm happy to see you here, BL during the daytime, too. The crew that was here when I first joined Blue Sky.
>> Yeah, little bloss again.
>> Huh? If we can if the ES can get above 47, we could be cooking with some gasoline. So, >> I don't just >> But it is one of those patterns that is debatable between bulls and bears. Like it absolutely is one of those patterns.
>> Well, it's consolidating and after a move down and so easily we could have another leg down. Like I that's why you always got to manage your risk. Accept your risk. like put it in a place that you you're not squeezing it necessarily, but you accept and it fits within your risk parameters because that's how we can protect ourselves.
>> Thrive Becky is moving because she's doing a walking desk.
>> Sorry, Thrive.
I know it's pretty dancy. Um I we're I got into trading because I had a massive back injury as a nurse and I had a herniation. I had surgery and so when I stand too long or I sit too long, it really aggravates it. It puts pressure on that disc. Um, and so I have found that when I was streaming more and getting more into my office work, um, it was hurting me more. So I, anyways, I long story short, I got a standing desk and I got a walking pad underneath. So it's like a mini little treadmill. I'm sorry if it's distracting. Please, you guys can vote me.
>> Becky, you go ahead and do all the walking you need to do there because like Nick says, she likes to move it, move it. She likes to move it, move it.
>> Oh man, my kids.
>> So we got everybody singing. We're going to get a move on the ES. Come on, everybody join with it. Let's hum it.
>> That's right. Let's go. Let's go. You said that we got a tick up.
>> By the way, I'm also actively looking gold here as well.
>> Okay. Okay. Thanks, guys.
>> I think gold has a uh has an interesting technical uh pull situation here.
>> Let's talk about gold because I looked at it earlier.
>> It depends on who does the singing. If I do the singing, we're getting stopped out.
>> I'm not it either. I do not have a diaper and um I just don't >> I got I got the late night radio show voice but I do not have the singing voice.
>> You do have that.
>> So are you looking for this to potentially hold because on the larger time frame gold is a good look.
>> Uh this best look gold's had in a long long time.
>> Broke this pivot.
>> I'm just like don't mess it up baby.
>> Yeah, I really wanted to hold right in here as well. I looked at that and I'm like, >> by the way, >> I about hit a grand slam on crude oil last night.
>> I got close. I got close. I took the trade above 85 last night.
>> Yeah.
>> Did go did a go to bed trade. Went right above 80. Like I actually front run 85.
I got in like at 8490.
>> Okay.
>> And um there's a lot of uh obviously escalation talk with the B1 Lancers out of the UK yesterday. Yeah, it was on crude. Um, you'll see you'll see a really good trigger right above 85.
That thing uh that is what I call the go to bed trade by the way.
>> You got in.
>> Oh, I definitely did.
>> This is sick.
>> I definitely did.
>> Wow.
Beautiful.
>> Are you still in it or did you have targets you got?
>> No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I got out in the morning.
>> Yeah, I got out.
>> Nice run. That's a good trigger right above here.
>> First thing I do when I wake up, when I do a go to bed trade is uh I see how how it worked out.
>> Did I get smoked and stopped out or am I still cooking with gasoline there?
>> Very interesting.
>> It was a good go to bed trade though.
>> That's beautiful.
>> You know, >> I wonder if it's doing a nice leg up here.
>> Session in the technical lab learning the go to bed trade.
>> That sounds like an amazing session. I'm down.
>> It's uh it's a really good trade. it. I was first taught the trade about 10 years back. Actually, about Man, I'm getting old, Becky. Uh about 14 years back, actually. Um but, uh I was initially taught it on the uh uh Japanese yen US dollar pair. And my forex mentor taught me how to do it on the on I would do it on the Euro dollar pair because my go to bed I'm I'm a late night guy but he was a early morning riser and so his his was the Japanese yen pair. It's a great trade. Lazy loose setup. You don't do it all the time. You do it when you feel like you have an edge. But Nick, I've heard you sing it did crash the world.
>> Also, I can't go faster because I might break myself. I don't It might be entertaining for a moment, but I like my death. I don't want to suck.
>> Oh my goodness. Is this thing going to snoozefest for an hour?
>> No, I don't want that.
>> Thought the president was talking.
>> Yeah, he's apparently not involved in class today.
Now that I say that, I'm probably going to piss it off.
All right. I like ENQ better. Yes. Is stressing me out. She's hesitating more.
Thank you is a little cleaner.
>> Thank you. Looks good.
>> If if it more it hesitates and the more it's not taking off, the more I am going to move my stop up. Um I could go underneath this strength candle here. I was trying not to squeeze it to give it the day because I think with those earnings coming, people might want to front run the bulls. And so that's another reason why I was really into the pullback long because some people want to be in the market when that hits.
>> It's going to be a very interesting night tonight.
This is like out of the entire week, there's no bigger catalyst this week than the geopolitical side, unfortunately.
>> Yeah.
>> Um but that is the epicenter of the conversation right now.
>> Um >> man, if that thing gets alleviated in this positive earnings environment.
>> Um but oh yeah, Mary, I agree with you.
Right now it's a snoozefest. There's a little bit up, little bit down, little bit up, little bit down. Market's clearly not picking a direction yet. Uh in this pattern still all everything's inside pattern pushing down a little bit. Bears have a little bit of edge inside pattern right now. But >> yeah, >> I've seen that flip five times inside this pattern so far.
>> It really has. They're coming back for 222. Ja, why are you asking for that more?
>> Yeah. And I'd say J on the ES is the 40 level. Like if you give up the 40 level.
>> Yeah.
>> It could it could be good 10 20 points pretty quickly.
>> Yeah. 40 is a key resistance support versus resistance on ES for me as well.
>> And it's just underneath VWOP right now, which is a really key position. So, hold or hold like that's the situation. I gave this so much time, you guys, and it printed it out. So, I am going to move my stop under the pivot now.
>> Just cut 100 of that risk because this is not looking as strong. 206 is my stop.
Could sweep it for liquidity, though.
I've been holding this trade for so stinking long.
It hasn't given you a reason to do much.
>> No, I was hoping it would climb up steadily to through to through to through the clothes, but if it's just going to dink around, I don't It's not as trustworthy.
>> Where your bulls at? I was hoping you would bring the bulls.
>> I I I thought I was bringing the bulls.
I thought I was >> like, "All right, bulls. Let's get those horns up. Let's go."
>> I don't like having my stop right under a pivot because I feel like they sweep it all the time.
But apparently I'm I'm I brought the bears apparently.
>> Well, I've been on the street for an hour now. So I'm kind of like >> Yeah, let's play me.
>> I was I was definitely talking about the same thing you were. So >> yeah, come on.
Mary, [laughter] Jad and Mary, I think are both in shorts and they're just trying to like be kind.
They're cheering against us, but just through a respectful way.
>> I know. Well, they held through a lot.
They're still in their trades.
>> Well, if we get smoked here, Becky, at least they made some money. So, if we lose, you guys took our money. And if we win, we took yours.
>> Either way, Blue Sky is winning.
>> Somebody Somebody's winning here. We can feel good about that.
>> And if it was you, if you got in with me, you could have moved to break even and guaranteed a no loss day. So I I'm going to give V one more test here and let the chips fall where they may like a four to one if it wins. So that's pretty damn good riskreward situation on this trade. I can't be mad about that.
>> That thing is dancing VWAP right now on she kissing it again. Mhm.
Hey.
>> Yeah, we both we all been holding everybody been holding at this chop city today.
I want some of us to win. I don't really like it's fine. Whoever wins. You guys win, I love that. I win, we'll also love that.
>> Yeah. You win, we're okay with that. We win, we're better.
>> This is a little bit >> in terms of how we feel about it.
>> Yeah. The carry way afterwards. I mean, who doesn't like winning? But >> this is the candle that stomps us out if it does.
>> I know. Come on. Come on.
Let's Yeah, >> we're red and rolling the five. Let's get a green time. It's time.
>> Can Trump just say condemn words that are exciting?
>> The only thing Trump can say that would excite the bulls is >> uh ceasefire.
>> He's not gonna say crap.
>> He says he might say we're gonna hit a mountain full of pickaxes. We're we're gonna we're gonna hit a mountain.
>> He might say that. variety right now or the Minecraft. Minecraft is what I'm meant to say. Pickaxes. That makes me think of my kiddos.
>> All right. He's a dancing.
>> Uh Jaw Ja, you missed 14 others. This would be on the 28th one.
>> That was the retest that you want. That was a >> easy to miss though. easy to miss because it probably is really like 58 ceasefires.
But then again, that's 58 Nobel Peace Prizes in the end. So worth it.
>> Cheers to Nobel Peace.
>> Yeah.
>> Here's to view retest hold because that's the theory.
>> All right. If you're an ES and I'm in ENQ, I'm like side by side so we can see. What's that? They're doing the exact same thing right now.
>> No, they really are. They're super similar. Where's my thing?
Is that too much on the chart, you guys?
Kind of too much. What do you guys think?
>> Not bad.
>> No.
>> Wait, I can close.
Okay, we'll close the order pad and then we'll put NASDAQ on that side. I'll put ES on the left of your screen and ENQ on the right.
Now we can watch them in tandem. Oo, look at that adrenaline kiss and view kiss on. Yes, that could be good.
Could be good.
Well, my stop is literally right underneath that >> V like ever trade.
>> Like we've been like shadow high-fiving for a little bit.
>> You know, yesterday I didn't love the price action and power. So, I was really hoping today would be fire. It's been eight, but it's not done a lot in the last I've been on since 11 since 2 Eastern and it has moved a lot. Don't lie.
Um, the ES is currently four points under when you started streaming.
[laughter] >> Woo, we're having a high rolling day.
Honestly though, it dinks around a lot before Catalyst, right? We've talked about that, too. And knowing that there's something coming. It could just be people are already positioned and waiting and then there's algo scalping, which is what it feels like. Like right now, this push down took out people who are squeezing the trade. This push up right now is taking out people who jumped on the bears at that push. I >> if if people are making decisions in front of Google's earnings and that they certainly could be that could be influencing the price. I would suggest it would be to alleviate something going into it instead of adding going >> going into it. The reason I say that is we have currently in earning season 88% of companies beating EPS. We have the EPSB rate at 16% which is an outlandish number right now. But companies that are beating are being rewarded less than companies that are than companies that are missing that are getting beat up.
And so the market right now is is in a negative earnings mode. Even though earnings has been a good environment so far from a numbers perspective, the market is using earnings to alleviate positions more than adding to positions.
And the reason that is the case is not because of earnings, but because of the geopolitical overhead.
>> And so that could change by the way.
>> Yeah, >> that's just what we're seeing very very early in earning season.
>> Okay. Okay. I love how you said that because I said it earlier in way less formal terms where I'm like sometimes earnings are great and the market just goes down which is super obnoxious and you can't count on a strong earnings creating a bullish move because it's not reliable. But I love how you just explained like the background of that in more technical terms of >> there's there's actually fundamental causation for it.
>> It it's not random. it it does occur and it confuses a lot of people because it's like how in the world is that stock down 10% when they just crushed earnings and increase guidance and it's like well there's a lot that goes into earnings outside of just the headline numbers guys. Yeah. The same way there's a lot that goes into every aspect of life outside of the headline numbers. The issue with most of our society is they don't ever dive deeper than the headline numbers.
>> Yeah. But there is causation for it.
>> Yeah, I love that you cover that for us with us.
>> Um, I don't know if I love it. It drives me crazy, but I do do it anyways.
I think if you understand the I'm a top down analyst. I anchor against the market first, but if you can understand earnings themes, like earnings themes carry through the next quarter. They they're not just this swing trade type thing. They're catalyst events that propel trending analysis.
Four straight candles off the 90 EMA on the five minute. Come on. Get above it.
Get above it. You snoozefest.
>> I know.
>> She's just chopping around taking people.
I don't love it. I have less optimism.
all the time about this long because it really is not taking off like I hoped.
Is what it is. I got in >> definitely pressing down here.
>> Yeah, I know.
You could tank.
>> I kind of like hitting the reverse if I get stopped. Yeah, >> even the buyer stepped up a candle ago the sniff of nine and came right back down to VWAP.
>> ES is lower. You see that? Like ENQ is holding a little bit higher.
>> ENQ is holding higher. Yeah.
>> Yeah.
>> ENQ is better.
Very generic statement.
We'll see.
>> Oh, I kind of felt that yesterday.
>> That was better.
>> No, I watching paint dry on the on the inner day side. There was a couple sessions yesterday that was just like boring.
>> Oh, that's why I'm thinking we saw that yesterday. Like, why can't she get together today?
>> Oh, we still got time.
>> I'm glad y'all are hanging out with us.
Yeah.
Man, the one thing the ES is proving VWAP is a support level.
>> See what I'm saying, man? End of the day, VWAP is kind of a boss.
>> Just just a kiss kiss.
>> I love me a VWAP kiss. I'm not even going to lie. Like, it's so hard for me to not either be entering a trade or locking in a trade at VWAP in the last hour. Like, that is my jam.
That's what I structured that was a a solid component in my trade today was that we were at VWOP and a higher higher low larger time frame situation.
>> It certainly influenced me as well.
>> All right. And we just pump for the love of all that is holy. It's like out of time for it to get I have this very optimistic target map right underneath 400 based on the larger time frames on ENQ because in my You had four hours to go.
>> Yeah. Yeah. When I entered this trade over an hour ago, it seemed like there was time.
>> I want to say I had a very ambitious target, too, when I was thinking um 70 706.
I'm not thinking 76 any longer. All right. Honestly, I think I'm going to put two out at my target of 75 here if we can get there for the Lord's sake because this is taking the sweet time.
>> If this thing turns around and if we get a pump and if we get expansion on the breakout, I'll scale out at 60.
>> Yeah.
Going to try and get two out at 75 and then one at the high of day and then I'm gonna leave it for now and see what the heck she can do because if You took her sweet, sweet loving time to turn and it pops. Then we could fly. But DBD, we also could be here in 40 minutes when we log off.
I hope not. But >> I am fascinated by this ES bouncing on the five minute on the on the VWAP constantly.
>> I just fascinated by it.
>> What did you see earlier on in Q Look at all this. This is the a 15inute chart. Was my 15. This is the five. Um, but it was 20 minutes. It kissed VWAP.
20 minutes it kissed me off and it held.
And so that was why I'm like, well, give it a little bit too a little bit.
>> We just opened up the fourth candle on that VWOP test, but it started right on VWOP. So, we'll see.
>> Yeah.
Any game can play. Honestly, this is an area where it could fold or it could go.
So, we'll see.
At this point, I could move my stop into profit, but it's in no man's land, right in the middle of this chop city. So, I'd rather just take the hit. Honestly, it's like a quarter of what I'm green on my day already if I take the hit. So, it's like whatever.
>> I'm not sure the ENQ has invalidated your trade idea.
>> It hasn't.
>> Yeah. Like the EES has, but I don't think the ENQ has yet.
>> Oh, yeah. ES just lost VWAP.
>> It's Wick.
>> It doesn't mean it lost it. It could just be wick below it and pull back up.
>> It's two wicks away from my stop.
>> Come on, bulls. Come on.
>> I'll tell you, even this just fade, fade, fade. Like nothing aggressive here.
>> It's not fancy.
>> And Trump did nothing, which honestly I'm not mad about. I kind of like that.
It was we're getting a little less impact from every little random like he's got a microphone in Georgia right now. Like why does that need to be involving us? But um it would be great if it didn't.
>> Yeah, Josh. I'm right under 40.
>> Yeah.
>> I'm not at 40. I'm right under.
>> Yeah.
>> [gasps and sighs] >> So he didn't say anything.
>> If we did, if we did, we would have saw it show up in prize.
>> Yeah. There was no price action relation to it from what I could see.
>> Oh, finally. Finally danced. Killed me.
[snorts] Just killed me.
>> Don't pull me down.
>> Am I?
>> Come on.
Oh, >> come on. Yes. Get it together.
>> Yeah, I think ES was slightly weaker than ENQ today. Yeah, ES didn't pump as high as or as aggressive. ENQ had a stronger pump at open and then a little stronger pump on the last push-up, too.
But they're very similar. Just slightly different momentum.
>> Yeah, they're similar. ES is slightly worse than the ENQ today.
>> Yeah, >> but then again, it was a cyclical earnings day. Names like GE Verona, for example.
>> Yeah, there was a a solid handful um this morning and then I saw and then the big guys are for aftermarket, but there was a a pile of them this morning as well for earnings. I was looking Any surprises there for you >> on earnings?
>> Yeah, this morning.
>> Um, I was more bored with earnings today than I was with the ES in the last 45 minutes.
>> Oh, dang.
>> Yeah. Um, no. Like Philip Morris was an interesting one, but there was I I don't want to say there were any standouts today in earnings, but I also don't think there was any expectation to have standouts today in earnings.
>> Yeah.
I mean, I wish you were still in with me, but I'm kind of into this pump.
>> I'm kind of into this pump, too.
But tomorrow >> Mhm.
>> we will have stand out in earnings.
>> Yeah. Tell us about tomorrow. You talking about just tonight or tomorrow?
>> Just tonight. Tomorrow like you have like tomorrow night you have uh Intel is the is the big one. the uh government-owned semiconductor company at this point.
>> Intel.
>> Yeah, >> that's funny. It's based where I live.
Intel. I know some people who work there, but I don't care.
>> All right. All right. We're at the back their 401k pension plan then.
>> Huh? Oh, I was just making more sarcastic comments about the government owning publicly traded companies.
>> Yeah, it's messed up.
>> Oh, I It's money.
>> Like it's been good for Intel in the short term.
>> Yeah, >> Intel gets backing, government love, government money, all that jazz.
>> Um I I I don't I I don't see government owning public companies long term being a positive storyline.
>> There's a lot of movies about that. have too much control from one entity and what that actually looks like for >> there's uh there's political systems historically that we have names for government-owned institutions. We don't need to have that conversation here, but if you want to do some homework, there is historical political systems with governments owning publicly traded companies.
>> I'm concerned.
>> It's not called capitalism. Let's just let's just say that.
>> [clears throat] >> No, I am so annoyed.
I should have took one off at that pivot.
>> Man, every time bull step up at all at all. Like this thing can't get above the 9 EMA.
I Me too, Jaja. Me too. Me too. Me too.
Nope. She didn't stuff back down enough.
Hurry.
All right. I'm going to down here.
>> Communism is a political identity, not an economic one. But it does involve that. Yes. But it's not the only one.
There's a difference between economic system versus political system. For example, communism is a political system. Socialism is the economic system applied within the backdrop of communism. And so there's there's a little bit of it's a little bit I'm splitting hairs a little bit, but there is there is a difference in the two.
I know like these bowls.
>> Come on.
>> I took one off during that this stuff back because I'm just like I'm just not feeling it.
They should have been able to break that and it like encountered a lot of alos is what I'm feeling. I'm feeling real algae. Like each each extreme is just being hit without any sort of sense of trend or momentum.
Oh, there's no momentum here at all. Not yet.
>> No.
>> Maybe there's some calm before the storm here in the last 30 minutes, but market could just be saying we're done in front of Google.
>> Yeah, very well could be. What is Google itself doing right now?
Anyone watching them? Oh, >> I haven't seen him in a couple hours. I >> know. I'm curious. No. uh selling off in front of earnings.
>> Kathy, that's not helping us at all.
Yeah, she is. Holy tanking.
>> Yeah, >> she's at a low for days right now. She just broke the low for the last couple of days.
>> Well, shoot. [snorts] Should have looked at that a minute ago.
>> Five consecutive candles on VWAP and the 9 EMA in a twopoint range. This is crazy. This is garbage.
>> This is absolutely insane.
>> You know, an hour and a half ago, I felt pretty good about this trade.
>> I'm just fascinated that the market has not closed on the fivem minutee candle outside 41 and 43.
>> Like, >> it is wild. Like, at some point in the next two candles, you have to close outside range.
But that thing that thing is about as a tight of a pinch as I've seen against the 90 MA and VWAP.
>> Yeah.
And it has not been it's it is stiff the fivem minute 90 EMA. Every candle in the last six has not once gotten above it.
Not once. The wick is at the top is right there at the 90 EMA straight down.
Donny's about to address the nation.
Hoster.
>> Oo, good looking out. He's late.
>> Oh, okay.
Well, I'm just going to leave it. Is he like approaching the mic or something? He's late.
>> That should uh that should help the lack of momentum, I'd say.
>> All right, this is going to be interesting.
Keep doing my baby so dirty. Oh, I love Microsoft for a lot of reasons.
>> I know. She really wants to give up. I know. I'm gonna No, if if he's going to take the mic, I'm gonna let it ride. Let it ride.
I think I might move it up to this pivot, especially if he's going to start yammering.
This last pivot will protect me even more. So, risk is under 100 bucks for three micros. That's nothing. 213 211.
Okay, done. Under 100 bucks. This is like a nothing. A whiff. And if he can talk and pop it, I'm in. And I do take one off in profit. It's like neutral.
We'll see this last pivot either gives or holds. I'm super fine either way.
Now see slip and sl.
[clears throat] >> Okay, that that's the winning comment of the day for sure. Ford. Yep, that would be zero. Surprising.
>> We'd be up 25 points on the ES in a heartbeat if that was the case.
Let's go summer vibes. Be >> the biggest bullish catalyst.
Like, okay.
Slip and slide on the on the summer white house launch.
>> Cheers to that. Let's go. Cuz that's the way that's the way we do it.
>> Roses plow those mothers down as a hill there. Let's go.
Okay.
Let's go, Bolts. Let's go. Right on me.
What's it going to do?
When when you say bulls, I think there's four of us left right now.
>> All the bulls are out to lunch, which is where I should be.
>> I I haven't I haven't sniffed a bull in 30 minutes. [laughter] >> No. Well, the bears aren't that impressive either. Oh, the bears on the bears aren't doing anything either, but >> not one of them is bringing home the bacon right now.
>> Fine.
>> Okay, Jonathan. board. I read that intro.
>> Who is team Becky?
>> I'm on team Becky. Um, >> see. Yeah.
>> Should have. I agree.
That face is very fun. YouTube has fun little emojis.
Yes.
Oh, that is that is that is a quote that fits right with that slip and slide plan.
Come on, just take me out of this so I can stop micromanaging you. Just end it.
>> Then the pain.
>> Pain. This trade has taken me 84 years.
>> Um, you're still above VWAP, sister.
>> I know. I'm just squeezing it because I'm over it.
>> Oh, are you kidding me? I was begging for the ES to end the end the uh the pain there about 20 minutes ago.
>> Well, it got like a tick from my >> 10 minutes ago. Yeah. ever. Do it. That means Mary's gonna slay her targets, which I'm all about.
>> What's going on, Jack? Good to see you.
Hanging out, my friend. Watching the snoozefest of power hour on the ES and the ENQ.
>> And we're cheering for Mary's Bears because the Bulls could not pull through to get for me >> because we want Becky to get stopped out >> momentarily.
You know what it is? I turned off my walking pad to stretch. Apparently, the market wants me to walk because you're slacking and so we're taking your profits.
Oh, we'll see. There it is. I need to cancel these other orders and targets.
My flat flat. Okay, do that.
>> Still thinking about gold here.
all these. Okay.
All right. Let's uh let's shut down this crazy town.
>> Did you finally get uh stopped there? I >> sure did. Took me. All right. Let's uh let's go down to one screen so we can see more easily. Let's check out the world. So, if you are in the shorts, it's it's finally broken consistently on both. So, there it is. Mary, good hole. Good hold, Mary and Ja.
Beautiful. I'm so happy for you.
I love Mary and Jucks.
Okay, here's gold. Let's talk about gold. Congrats, Jaw.
Please, you guys want to hang? I would love to hang with you guys.
Okay, gold is still sideways, but not doing anything either.
>> No, it's a misfits, too.
>> Yeah.
Uh, Ford, do you think Trump cares about saying anything crazy just because he's at high school in Atlanta?
>> He might even go harder because he's in Atlanta. Like, he might find >> He's in Georgia. He's got issues with Georgia. I I don't think he cares.
>> Oh, seriously?
at a high school. That's that's a look.
>> Yeah. Like >> that's a look.
>> If that's if that's the topic out of high school, like nothing's off nothing's out of bounds.
>> But all right, so gold is sideways. ES and ENQ broke the low. So they might this will cheer for our friends. Um they might go lower here.
Where could they go? So the low on this last pivot on INQ 175.
There could be some liquidity there, but also it could hold up here too. Just have taken out the stops that of my stop and still be holding. Interestingly, my original stop would have still held, but I'm not going to worry about it.
>> I have little interest right here. No, I'm kind of like I mean I'm happy that we our friends got paid so but I don't want to I don't want to short because like we're at VWAP and so I don't know I've done um an episode on this but VWAP is is the place where I have received most of my paper cuts in my entire trading career is trading at VWOP because it sometimes will do this when momentum is lost basically it's telling you it's dinking around the center of a day so it's doing nothing it's not in a move it's not in a trend and so if you are engaging in trades at VWOP there is also risk of it bouncing and taking out both sides of that. And so I feel like that's a little bit where we're at right now. Risk of the bulls taking us back and it just kind of oscillating around it, which is where you can get those paper cuts.
>> Yeah, I agree.
>> Mary, I'm so proud of you. You sunk that trade and you held it like a mama. That was amazing. Same with you guys.
>> Mary's technical read is really, really, really good.
>> She's excellent. It's beautiful.
We're very happy to have you here on Team Blue Sky. All of you, Ford and Jaja and Jonathan. We got We got Jack in here. We got Hoster.
>> I don't know all names else we saw.
>> I was going to say Ja is a little bit more shotgun approach.
>> A >> getting Ja.
I You know what? We all hold trades. As long as you were in a place where you accepted it.
When you were in draw, I should have lost some profits.
Got to accept the risk. Keep the size at a reasonable level.
>> I just want to see Google's earnings report. Like, I could care less about anything else at this point.
>> We're almost there.
>> I know. Like a kid in a candy store, though. Google's important to me.
>> You're like waiting in line outside the store. Oh.
>> Yeah. Like I want I want to see those numbers, baby. Let's go.
>> Yeah.
Well, we're popping back up there. So, I if you were in short, maybe you got a little bit of profit locked in here. I don't know. Or maybe you're still holding and because it's moving. Here's to that. This is the oscillation zone legit. Like on inq, this was that consolidation earlier and it is technically really still right around VWOP. It didn't do this double kiss here and move. I really thought that was the move here. Um, I don't know. I think it could honestly my read now is I can just dink around the small range the rest of the day because it is not showing really strength in either way.
>> So Josh, you're you're right there with me then. Like let's go Google.
>> Let's go Google.
>> Maybe if I turn on my treadmill again, things will move.
I am definitely cheering on team Google tonight.
>> Yeah, that'll be great if they split down and then they got some good energy.
Good report. Good move.
>> Yes. Looking like I know I pulled down the things I want both sitting at the 9 EMA for the eight out of the last nine candles.
We'll see. It was oscillating up.
You slid down though there pretty smooth, but it slid down right to the top of this consolidation area, which is a good area for the bulls to defend from the morning flat now.
>> Huh?
>> 90 minutes flat. That's how boring this thing has been.
>> Yeah.
Let's put them both back on there for the end of the day. See what's what.
NASDAQ. So, ES still on the left.
NASDAQ's on the right.
You can see my fills. So, >> this is going to be an imbalance conversation at this point.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I'm not going to hold a trade to imbalance. I that trade for an hour and 20 minutes and I >> not in this setup. No.
>> You're dancing bop for the last two hours on the ES.
>> Yeah. That's like my least favorite honestly. Like I tried to see if it was in my read. I engaged at VWAP because I felt like it could bounce there and there could be some bullish momentum and it could be a higher low on the larger time frames. But in general, if one trade around VWOP doesn't work, I don't get in again because that means that I tried for a directional move up VWAP and it took me out. So, it's just dancing it. I don't like that condition.
Bulls can go anywhere.
>> I agree that 100%.
>> Mary is locked in and green and happy.
So, now they can do whatever they want.
Here's for that. First time you gotten above the 90 EMA in the last 30 minutes here.
>> Five minute 90 EMA.
That gets me so interested that I'm still not going to do anything.
>> I'm not doing it.
>> Was honestly like my seventh trade today. I took a little pile of them this morning and then this one at the end and I'm green on my day. So, I'm going to be grateful for the opportunity and the profits and wait and see the volatility after with popcorn.
Netflix, too. I wonder what they'll do.
They're today at closed, right? Am I losing my mind or Netflix was last week?
>> Oh, god. Who else am I thinking of? Oh, Tesla.
>> Tesla. Tesla today.
>> We have thoughts on them.
>> Um, they'll miss.
>> Doesn't mean they'll go down. Mhm.
>> Like Tesla >> Tesla doesn't move based on EPS. They move based on other factors. Uh always have by the way.
>> But uh the number one factor is how Elon paints the future of uh the transition from the legacy car manufacturer that dominated everything from an EV credit perspective for 10 years into a AI robotics juggernaut uh with Optimus. And so it's it's how Elon paints the future. Um I'm sure he'll have something to say about the short sellers on SpaceX.
>> They had an interesting support level Tesla.
>> No.
>> Yeah, a little bit. I don't have a lot of interest in Tesla right now.
>> Yeah, >> I have more interest in waiting on SpaceX to bottom out.
>> Me, too.
>> I'm definitely interested in SpaceX bottoming out. I wonder how much of the limelight or whatever they're taking from Elon. You know, SpaceX and Tesla now both on >> uh tons.
>> Yeah, right.
>> Tesla second.
>> Tesla crazy.
>> Tesla should not be in the Mac 7. They should be kicked out of the Mac 7.
>> Tell me more about that.
>> Well, SpaceX is going to buy him eventually.
>> Oh, really? I didn't know that. That's >> I I do believe that eventually Elon rolls Tesla into SpaceX. I think I think that's the entire reason why Tesla is is modifying their legacy manufacturing business into an uh AI robotics uh division. But yeah, I think eventually SpaceX acquires Tesla and Elon rolls a savings account into his checking account.
>> Don't you think there's an eagle thing though too to having multiple giant businesses in the market? Um >> I'm not sure Elon cares about that though. No.
>> Um >> plus if he rolled those two together, they're probably rival Nvidia's one of the bigger most important growth companies in the world.
>> The juggernaut. Yeah, that's fair.
>> Like you you can create like like Google, Microsoft, Amazon specifically, even a little bit Meta. They are horizontal companies with vertical with vertical elements to them but they have like four or five different ver uh verticals within their horizontal company and so you have vertical domination you have horizontal right now Tesla and SpaceX is both vertical Google Amazon Meta even a little bit Apple uh Amazon they're all horizontal they have multiple verticals that are building that's where that's how they get to a 4 to5 trillion ion dollar market cap company. And so I kind of see Elon going down that route more than I do the vertical route.
>> All right. What's imbalances going to do? Anybody have a thought?
>> If if if anything's right in the world, zero imbalances should be flat right at VWOP.
>> That's a good point.
I'm not touching it.
By the way, if Elon never made the change to move from Tesla from the le from the EV juggernaut into a robotics arm, I wouldn't have the same opinion of SpaceX acquiring them. But SpaceX, one of their biggest things is going to be putting data centers into outer space over the next 5 to 10 years.
Robotics plays a big time role in that.
Mary. Uh, >> Mary's only on team Becky when she's shorty.
>> That's funny.
>> I think that means Mary is actually team Bear who just is very happy when team Becky is on her team.
>> It's kind of >> [clears throat] >> Man, I like the Bears, but sometimes I got to play with bulls.
These numbers do need to be steady. You are absolutely right, Jonathan.
>> Um, I trust Steve's numbers 100%.
>> They are targeted so often. Like, that's a very real deal. The way we were just monkeying around the target from earlier that just did nothing. like the shorts hit it and then I feel like it would just let it all go dinking around.
That's my read which is not my favorite conditions.
[clears throat] >> Well, we did just get imbalances >> and we're still at VWOP on the ES.
>> [clears throat] >> Yeah, little quick wick above and then now they're going down, but not in any sort of fashion.
>> I just kind of feel like the market an hour ago said we're we're done.
>> Yeah, >> we're done until Google.
>> Yeah, you know, Justin in the morning when he streams he is D green take green homeboy is taking 45 second trades where he's just locking in like three 400 bucks, 250 350 just like in out target 30 points. like he got up like a grand in an hour we streamed together this morning of just like just limit entry with the target already established boom already getting out what's happening special that's a tactic man he's building his accounts okay imbalance is a little on the red side okay thank you Gabber not by much those are small numbers only triple digit millions but slightly red.
Well, tonight should be interesting.
Honestly, after hours, it'll be a lot of us probably will have it pulled up and see what's happening, what's popping.
>> I think if there's two stocks the market's talking more about tomorrow, it's Google and Service Now, >> but we'll wait and see on that. But that's I think I think those are the two stocks the market fixates on tomorrow.
>> Okay.
Texas Instruments and Tesla going to have something to say about that. IBM's going to have something to say about that, but we already know IBM pretty much. They pre pre-released uh guidance last week.
>> Mhm.
>> Kind of like Super Microchip pre-release guidance yesterday.
>> Why Front Run? Why are we insider cheaters? I don't know. Um, I do not like pre-releasing earnings analysis at all. [snorts] IBM did it to because they didn't want to report two negatives in one report. I know it. I don't have to talk to them to know that.
>> Mhm.
>> Super Microchip did it because they haven't had that big order come in like they did on SpaceX. So, it just made sense to make the announcement. But when a when a company pre-announces earnings on bad numbers, they know the negative impact of earnings would be far outweighing what they get in that pre-announcement.
Um MJ, it's um or Gabber, it's um uh my role is two days in front and two days after for my personal role in in terms of active trading.
Did you get that entry or are you hunting that for clothes? Dakota, that's a that if you are in that from when we tagged earlier, that's thick entry.
That would have been the short to hold.
I love that.
>> Um, Gabber, that's also how I see the totality of earnings environment as well. I don't just look at the gap from the actual announcement to the next day.
I look at the two days in front and the two days after.
We got you bells for lotto plays.
I don't like I cheers to like really good thought planned out trades, but if you're just doing like a there's going to be some volatility and throw at it like do that in an eval. See what happens. See what happens. I've done that before. just I would if it's your own money or if it's a funded I'm personally I'm I'm really intentional with my trades but if you're if you're just like I'm gonna play an evalu for a momentum situation in the world for that from the end when we traded with the other guy adjusting this morning maybe we weren't hunting this morning on the longs we were hunting that 325 Yeah, nice.
Mary, thanks for being with us today.
Ja, you guys uh it was fun and uh way to slay your trade. That's absolutely beautiful.
Justin's great.
We got good people here. I love streaming with Justin and Matt and I won't stream with Breezy hardly at all, but maybe maybe more when he's back from his trip. And >> I I've stream with Breezy every now and then. I enjoy streaming with Breezy.
>> He's amazing. Yeah, good. We tend we have a tendency to just talk macro, geek out, fundamentals, long-term. Me and Breezy have a very similar philosophy when it comes to the market.
>> Yeah, nice trade, Jonathan. Nice levels. Uh Mike is supposed to be back tomorrow.
So, he had a heck of an internet issue this morning. I guess all week he couldn't get anything to work right. So, he had a person, my understanding is he had a person at his home today to hardwire the internet. And so, last I heard is that he will be there tomorrow.
So that's that's the most current data and he just is really frustrated as well by the internet situation. Sorry about that guys with that inconsistency there.
But um in theory should be locked in for morning.
Justin is the morning guy back up. He's he comes on as Mike is rounding out or if Mike's not there, he um he'll always hop on. So we should always have someone in market open for you guys the blue sky regardless. But yeah, Mike throws down some numbers. You trade multiple minis though. So, I would say I mean his numbers are gorgeous, but always trade the size that fits with your account and your, you know, threshold for risk and all that jazz. He does >> I would have tried to trade Mike's sizes, but I would take Mike's trades.
>> Yeah, exactly.
>> Yeah, he's [clears throat] a wicked smart trader. Been doing very deep respect for Mike's ability to trade. Um, >> yeah.
>> Not a lot of respect for what the ES is doing with the 9 EMA and the VWOP right now. My goodness.
I don't know if I've seen anything like this for a long time. Like literally, it's ending right together just pegged.
>> Yeah, this is obnoxious. And that is the thing like Yeah, view up is tricky. If you're aiming towards it, she's a gorgeous target. But if it's dinking around it, that's paper cuts. It's a double-edged sword sometimes.
>> This turned out to be paper cuts. I was hoping it was the launch pad for the bounce up. It did not work.
>> It did work. I had profits at times, but I didn't lock them in. I wanted a stronger pound. So yolo, I don't hate yolo energy. You really do. We have this life right now.
And so if it's just risk and you're managing it and you're okay with however it plays out, like you can make a lot of money if you if you go for it. But just, you know, always make sure you're keeping your psychology stable and you're not trading with money you can't afford to lose is I think the caveat to that of, you know, if you have payouts and you're buying accounts with payouts and cheers to that, just just make sure you're psychologically and financially staying safe. And then, you know, that's a little yolo. I don't hate yolo.
Hey, Justin, you did not get beautiful move today. Not >> I don't know if I've ever came across this way, Becky. And I say that very sarcastically, but I am not a yellow guy.
I love that you're not a yolo guy. I love that.
>> Not at all. Not I'll take some shots in the dark, but they're they're always structured.
>> Yeah, I have some yolo energy that I'm constantly working on managing. Um, and I I like the profits and my payouts better when I'm less yolo. Um, but every once in a while, which is probably not great. I feed that demon with like an eal or something, but it's I have I I get more payouts when I don't. And so I backed away from that quite a bit as I've got deeper into trading.
>> I I I understand the mentality with an eval with the yellow mentality, but I don't know how that helps you do it consistently over time when you're not in an EVO.
>> That's my thing, too. Psychologically, you're training habits that are a little bit more dangerous. And so the struggle would be if you're allowing those habits in sometimes and then you get a funded account or you're trading personal money and then you let those habits play, it can get really dangerous because you can like annihilate money fast sometimes. Go trade your money in a futures broker.
You won't yolo.
>> Yeah, it would kill that habit. Yeah. Or in the account, one or the other.
>> I just don't see yolo as any degree of consistency in any capacity.
>> Yeah. And I think sometimes people will say the term and have a different degree and a different understanding and different management personally. So, it's hard to say exactly what what the view of yolo is for that person.
>> Right. I do not know uh Deco's definition of yellow, >> right? And that definition could be different than my definition.
Absolutely, 100%.
>> His definition might be the exact same as mine is the shot in the dark. You know what I mean?
>> Um so I don't know, but I am saying that in what I personally see out there on social media with the yolo type language I would say.
So, a generality there, I would say.
>> That's it for time today, you guys.
Thank you so much for hanging out with us at Blue Sky. It was a really fun conversation. Some traders got some money. I got a little stop out. Fine. It was fun. We learned, we engaged, and uh cheers to Google Earnings. So, see what you guys see at the end of the day and take care of each other.
>> Go Google.
>> Bye, everyone. Later, team.
