Adding a Little Bit of Security using LetweSaf Radar Motion Detection

[00:00:04]Up on the land getting a little bit of work done. Not a whole lot. It's It's like almost 100 degrees, so it's hot.

[00:00:09]I'm taking my time. Not doing much. Just standing here sweating really bad. But I am definitely up here for a reason.

[00:00:17]So a bunch of you have been on me about security and rightfully so. I get it.

[00:00:23]And I do I do carry, so we're good with that. And it just so happens that I did have a company reach out to me about using a radar system.

[00:00:33]No, it's not a game cam. I'm working on game cams. I'm trying to get some and I eventually will soon. The company LettLee Staff reached out and asked me to try the radar motion alarm system.

[00:00:48]From everything I've seen and all the videos I've watched about it, it's really neat. Not a game cam, so I won't get to see images, but I will get an alarm if somebody walks within 50 ft of where I stick this.

[00:01:01]So I'm going to get it unboxed and I'm going to get it installed.

[00:01:05]It also came with its own little solar panel. So of course I don't have electricity up here and I definitely don't want to be running back and forth picking them up, charging them, bringing them back.

[00:01:16]So solar solar's where it's at. Let's get it unboxed in an area where we can test this thing out.

[00:01:38]So it very It comes with the very easy to read instructions and there's like three instructions, maybe four. It's very simple. I have already pulled them out of the box and charged them. So I got to play with a little bit just to make sure I got it to work. I also went ahead and synced them. But I'll show you guys how to do it. It was It was If I can do it, y'all can do it and it's really easy. The hardest part for me is going to be finding the distance.

[00:02:02]So, it comes with a detector and a receiver. And you can add up to six detectors on one box if you're trying to keep all the way around you safe.

[00:02:13]But, I only have one. So, that's what we're going to work with.

[00:02:16]It does come with the chargers and it comes with them You got to be kidding me.

[00:02:20]It comes with the It does come with the charger and it comes with the mounts. This is a wireless induction alarm. I'm going to read to you everything that it comes with just cuz there's a lot and I'm going to forget. And it's a lot of important stuff. There is so much that these little boxes are equipped with.

[00:02:37]You get [snorts] 24 GHz of frequency wave. The radar will pick up the motion no matter what the weather is like, if it's daylight, dark, storming, foggy, all of it. It has a monitoring range up to 50 ft and it can pick up anything moving from 0 to 75 mph. So, I will be extremely grateful if it uh will alarm me that my pterodactyl is in the area. And this does work completely offline. So, there are no videos, no audio, there's nothing to it. It's just a radar system that can penetrate pretty much anything out here. And it's really good for campsites, pastures, farms, warehouses, wherever you want to stick it.

[00:03:15]Feel free to put it up wherever you want. I happen to be out on land and I will camp out here and I have. And I didn't have a radar system, so I didn't know if what was walking around me or not. But, I'm going to get this put up and then the next time I do camp out here, I will feel a little bit better about what I can't see in the dark. So, I'm really excited about that. I did pair these last night.

[00:03:37]And but you want to make sure when you're doing anything with the detector, you keep it upright and off the ground.

[00:03:42]So, you just push the on buttons.

[00:03:46]They will blink and turn blue.

[00:03:49]You push the number one or which other number you want to program, you put the probe pair and then you hit [snorts] pair.

[00:03:58]And then it'll turn colors and then you keep them together. Let it pair.

[00:04:04]>> [bell] >> And they're paired.

[00:04:07]I had to turn it up si- Are you kidding me?

[00:04:10]>> [bell] >> All right, we're going to mute this.

[00:04:16]>> [bell] >> So now we're going to go strap it to a tree and measure out the 50 ft. First, I've got to find a tree that's got sun.

[00:04:23]That's going to have sun on it. So I've got to find I got to find a sunny spot. The solar panel that comes with it came with the solar panel and I have not taken it out of its little cover yet.

[00:04:40]And the mount and the directions. So I got my tree picked out.

[00:04:56]Install the detector.

[00:05:08]All right, so obviously it's working and obviously it's working. So >> [bell] >> obviously it's working. So now >> [bell] >> I'm going to mute it.

[00:05:26]Hit it twice, it mutes it. At the moment, I'm a really good distance from where the detector is on the tree, but let's just play around with it. I still have to mark off the 50 ft. Let's just see where it starts going off at with motion.

[00:06:00]Think we're good.

[00:06:05]Okay, so where I have it set right now is in the middle of my driveway pointed toward where I camped the other night.

[00:06:13]So if something was to come up in my driveway, it's still a really good distance from where I put my tent or if when I when I start working on the rest of the land. Somebody is going to come around this corner. I'm going to know that they're there before they know I see them. So I can't lie.

[00:06:31]I have to measure out 50 ft.

[00:06:33]My brain does not compute what that is whatsoever, but I know yards. I'm a football mom. I like the NFL. I used to march in the band on the field. So I know what yards is. So I'm going to cheat.

[00:06:47]I'm going to ask Google what 50 ft is in yards.

[00:06:53]What is 50 ft in yards?

[00:06:57]>> 50 ft is a quick >> approximately 16 yards. So I just got to walk off about 15 yards and that makes sense to me. Push the number that you program the detector to.

[00:07:21]And then you hit probe set.

[00:07:24]And that should lay out your perimeter.

[00:07:27]And anything that comes inside that perimeter, your detector's going to go off. Let's try it. Let's see how far out we can go.

[00:07:38]>> [bell] [bell] [bell] >> All right, guys. It works. And it's going to add a little bit of sense of security for me when I do camp out here.

[00:08:14]I do get out here to camp again, which will be very soon.

[00:08:17]I will make sure this thing is activated, charged, and ready to go. And it will take a little bit of fear away that I have of something come at least coming up the driveway. Animals, not so much worried about, unless it's a bear.

[00:08:29]But I don't know if we have bears. I don't think I have bears.

[00:08:31]At least it keeps me alarmed if somebody is coming up my driveway. I will play with this. I'll move it around the land and figure out where the best place to put it is. I wouldn't mind having the five other detectors. It would be great.

[00:08:43]That's not game cams, not yet. Still working on that, but it is some type of security. I'll feel better. I hope this makes you all feel a little bit better.
