A Dusty Day On The 110 Farm

[00:00:05]So, we're going to get cracking on a bit more of clearing this yard.

[00:00:12]Although, there was talk about shenanigans today, so we'll see if that comes to fruition.

[00:00:19]But, I was going to start chopping that up first today, but I've still got Mark's um butt grab, so I've got a feeling he'll probably need that pretty soon. Also, with him running a farm, that'll come in very handy for him.

[00:00:34]So, I'm just going to push all the steel out the way for now, because I won't need that for doing stuff like that.

[00:00:40]But, I've got a little pile there still to do, and then there's a load of timber and other stuff around the back of the skip. So, I'm going to push all the steel out the way first, get that skip right over there in the corner, so it's well and truly out the way.

[00:00:55]And then, we'll like I say, move this pile, move that pile.

[00:01:00]Um I'm just going to take those big logs to the fire pit fire side, as well. Uh when I do the Hobbit house, I'll just have to try and find some stuff.

[00:01:09]And to be fair, I probably probably won't use some nice new stuff, anyway.

[00:03:42]There was a lot of sheets mixed up with a lot of steel sheets mixed up with all the wood. There was a lot of soil and all sorts mixed up with this wood. So, I've just had a bit of a through it all.

[00:03:53]Uh just trying to organize it a little bit. But, I'm going to be jumping into that in a second, and we'll get all that moved down onto the fire pit.

[00:06:48]Cuz [clears throat] I can just come grab a load. But the issue that we're having is obviously cuz it's so bitty and it's full of all sorts.

[00:06:56]Um it tends to drop off quite a bit. Look at the lane down there. It's an absolute right mess. Uh especially with that last load I took down.

[00:07:08]Don't know where I don't even know where all this lot come from to be fair.

[00:07:11]Um There's all sorts in it. Doors and like I don't know I don't even know where it's from. Um but what I'm going to have to do is basically tidy up this lane first and then start moving a bit more because obviously some of this wood will have nails in it. The last thing I want to do is start popping tires and stuff.

[00:07:29]So, I'm looking for like an I-beam at the moment so I can use it as a bit of a rake.

[00:07:34]Uh I was using a big piece of timber a minute ago.

[00:07:37]But it's just destroying it so I'd rather have a nice piece of I-beam.

[00:07:41]Hopefully there's one somewhere. If not, I'll just have to change the bucket on the digger and quickly go down, scraping it all back.

[00:07:49]Um I was hoping it was just going to be little bit, so I can just go down with me truck or something later and just throw them in the back of the truck and then take them to the fire site. But, that last run, it was a big grab, so there's quite a lot and they're coming up coming off it.

[00:08:30]Well, it looks like I'm going to have to just change the bucket. The reason I didn't is because when we were getting the um grab on, the selector grab on the digger, it was just a bit hard pushing the hydraulics on. Um but I'm sure I'll manage.

[00:08:45]So, we'll swap this bucket over now.

[00:08:47]We'll quickly give it a scrape around up here and then we'll go down the lane, scraping all that up into one pile. Um and then when I've when we swap the bucket back on the telehandler, I'll just go down and throw it all in.

[00:10:52]Um and then we'll get on the fire pit by hand throwing it into the bucket. But, like I say, it's just a Cuz there's so many little bits and bats in this, for some reason. It's just like things drop out of it. But, it's really frustrating.

[00:11:07]Um but, it's a lot easier than doing it piece by piece, hand by hand.

[00:11:15]So, yeah, we'll jump in the loader again, try and get this up there.

[00:11:19]But, I am going to have to clear the lane again. But, I just wanted to get any of the wood off it that was going to give me punctures.

[00:11:32]And then try and get the last few bits up with the scoop with a bucket.

And every time I go down the lane, like I said before, bits are falling out. So, I've changed the bucket. And Andy's just arrived. Hey! So, he's just been up to uh the house where he destroyed the step.

[00:15:11]>> So, all nice new um treads putting on there. So, we'll get all them together and, like I said, one day next week we'll um we'll get up there, fly up, and get it laid.

[00:18:41]Um So, yeah, I'll just scrape that side off because with this last bit of stuff, like all this rubbish, I'm thinking I'd rather have the grab on that and literally load that into my bucket.

[00:18:59]And then that way I'm not not dropping it everywhere cuz it's I'm going to have to do quite a bit of a clear-up all on the path. So, won't be doing it today cuz time's already getting away from us.

[00:19:10]But, we're making a good impact now.

[00:19:14]Um Um >> [snorts] >> But, yeah. It's just It's just quite time-consuming, really. You'd think you'd with these big machines, oh, you'd do it in no time, but it's a lot more time-consuming than you'd think.

[00:19:32]So, I thought the lads might be doing a bit of Sunday sandage on the other side.

[00:21:12]So, we decided to come to Asda to get some potatoes to do jacket potatoes.
