[00:00:03]What's going on, guys? Uh, my camera was dead from yesterday, so I didn't record my first job, but I got a couple more service calls, so let's go ahead and take care of those.

[00:03:03]So, it froze up probably cuz I don't see this line filled with water.

[00:03:18]>> Yeah. Um, let me see. Yeah, this this this if not usually you would see this water backed up here.

[00:03:27]>> Sometimes these drain lines get clogged and that would cause the water to back up and cause water to be in there. Mhm.

[00:03:32]>> But I don't necessarily see it clogged up.

[00:03:38]How many days it's been like that?

[00:03:40]>> Um, >> okay. So, I bypassed the thermostat. I got the system on cool mode. This is not a heat pump. This is a straight cool system. So, I just uh put a jumper between R and Y on the control board.

[00:03:54]And the system is running. But at this point, I don't know what caused that water. So, we're going to try to check pressures in this rain. Um, so yeah, that's what we're going to do, guys.

[00:04:12]And I know I said I didn't think it was the drain line, but look at this.

[00:04:17]It's like underground somewhere.

[00:04:21]So, it could be the drain line, even though I didn't see any water.

[00:04:27]Okay. Okay. So, I don't see anything um concerning on the on the suction side.

[00:04:32]So, it might be something with the drain, guys. With me seeing it underground like that, it might be the drain. So, I'm just going to go ahead check superheated subcool.

[00:04:49]But with this being at 129, this is a good sign. This indicates that the system is not below freezing. And I will show you how. You look at 410 and you look at your saturation temperature is above 32. It's at 45. So that's a good thing. Our subcool is at 12. Honestly, this looks this looks good.

[00:05:18]I'm not going to worry too much about the super heat right now.

[00:05:25]It just came on. My main concern is that this is not below freezing.

[00:05:31]So, might have to see what we can do with this.

[00:05:44]I'm telling I don't even know where it where it drains at.

[00:14:17]Yeah, this thing looks like it could be low on refrigerant based off the 2° super subcool that I have right here. I have a 15° super heat. So, um, let me check the filter.

[00:16:39]It's not insulated the best.

[00:16:47]Okay. So, with me having a 14 degree split, that that led me to want to look at the insulation.

[00:16:55]Um, cuz today is not I'll show you guys.

[00:17:00]Today, it's a rainy day.

[00:17:05]I mean, we're still pretty hot out, but the sun isn't out. So really with that temp split, it should probably be keeping some type of some type of uh cool in there and it was 77.

[00:17:19]Um still probably going to add some refrigerant to it, but if that thing was insulated better, I think it'll work better.

[00:17:39]Okay, so with 13 oz, I got a sub cool of 12°. My super heat is 14. My sub cool did go up. Seems to be at a better range than two. That's what 13° of um I'm sorry, that's with 13 oz of 410A.

[00:18:01]Temperature splitter is about 15 to 16.

[00:18:06]Okay, I think the system's going to cool a little better, but something else might be going on.

[00:20:39]All right, so we have our power off. I'm going to go ahead get this plug out the way. That way I can deenergize the 24 volts going to this conttor so I won't blow a fuse, if that makes sense.

[00:20:53]As you can see, I plugged it in and the the contactctor's energized. That way you ain't got to go inside the house and turn off the thermostat.

[00:21:12]Oh. All right. So this is our low voltage.

[00:22:35]All right. You can see right there starting to get burnt at All right, we got the new contactctor in place. So, boom. There you go. Now, let me um I'm going to check this capacitor.

My dad's going to go ahead and um he's going to go ahead and clear that drain out with the vacuum just in case cuz he said it was kind of buried. So, he wants to make sure that it's that it's at least going to drain properly. And I'm going to go ahead upstairs and prime that trap.
