Day 78 : Pouring of the floor begins 🇵🇭

[00:00:09][music] [music] Morning guys. Welcome back. It's a little loud in here, so please bear with me.

[00:00:40]There's a lot of work going on right now here inside the house. They are compacting the um spare bedrooms and uh I think the office they are prepping to pour the bedroom.

[00:01:01]The master bedroom already have steel on the ground. And our plumber Marlon also is working on the the pipes for the the water line.

[00:01:21]So, they have steel in the closet, walk-in closet, and here in the master area, bedroom. So, these are the steel. It's not touching the actual ground. There's some rocks to have the steel a little up on the ground, so it's not going to be sitting on the bottom of the floor.

[00:01:50]Okay.

[00:01:54]And they're still doing the uh what do you call this?

[00:02:04]Skim coating here. [laughter] That's a lot of stuff going on right now.

[00:02:26]>> [laughter] >> I think this room is done and the hallway.

[00:02:47]So that is the latest. Right now we have a delivery of cement in preparation for the pour.

[00:02:59]We have 100 bags ordered.

[00:03:07]But that's the latest update right now.

[00:04:09]And uh we're pouring the floor in our bedroom.

[00:08:40][laughter] All right, guys. It's uh 10:17 and the guys are still on a little break. We're going to try and get a quick video before they get going again. So, [snorts] they've got uh the floor almost done in the uh walk-in closet and the um master bedroom.

[00:09:47]>> Um so, uh it's rough, but we don't we don't care. Um tiles are still going to go in on there after, you know, later on. So, doesn't matter if it looks rough right now. It's not supposed to be smooth.

[00:10:03]Um that's not going to be a permanent uh finish of the floor. Uh so the um gutter on this side for the the roof uh they said is done. I think they have one little piece they got to just slap in there real quick and then they can start laying the the panels out for this part of the roof and then the the house will be covered which is awesome. I'm really happy about that.

[00:10:36]>> Really happy about that. Guys are doing great on skim coat. I mean they're just cruising along. Tonan and Carlo are just moving on, you know. So they're doing really well. So, that is going to be our quick update for now. We'll be back later and and show you the progress a little bit later this afternoon.

[00:11:05]Um, so Boom Boom is still up in the roof and he's telling our other workers to just throw some snacks for him.

[00:11:29]There's some steel here on the floor on the ground. Here in the living room, it's not going to be on touching the ground. They will put some once they already lay it out, they are going to put some rocks to lift to have the steel um above the ground. So, it's not going to be like that.

[00:12:02][cough] And uh the the foreman [clears throat] is um getting ready prepping for the level of the [clears throat] the floor.

[00:12:17]They already poured in the master.

[00:12:22]So that's all poured this except for the bathroom. The master bathroom they already poured. Oh, they already poured both um bedroom.

[00:12:41]They are they poured the extra room and the office. These are all poured which is really nice.

[00:12:52]So, that's done. [panting] I'm the one doing the update because Mark's doing something else. So, please bear with me.

[00:13:03]I think they're working here in the back for the gutter or the whatever your patient. I don't know. I don't know. Like this.

[00:13:57]But they're still working on that side of the roof. They closed the gap [sighs] for here. Like in there, you can still see there's one light right there. So, but this side is already all closed.

[00:14:19]Oh yeah, that noise is the mixer. They're mix they're cleaning the mixer at this. But we'll go back to you later for another update.

[00:20:44]And there's some dogs out here and they haven't had their vaccines yet. So, they cannot really be around other dogs.

[00:22:47]Uh, we're going to let the dogos um out so they can run a little and then feed them after.

[00:23:06]So, it's already so swollen.

[00:23:21]Uh it's I think it's probably 5:00 now.

[00:23:25]So, that's the last before they stop. It's quiet time at 5 and they are still pouring there in the pantry. They're almost done. And I don't know what else are they going to to do.

[00:26:45]It's quiet time. That's why he's done with the he's done with the using the tools and the painting job can still continue because there's no loud machine or tools needed for that.

[00:27:15]and they're pouring the hallway right now.

[00:27:19]So once this uh part of the house gets the roof, it'll be dark in here.

[00:27:34]Oh, and the the pantry is done.

[00:27:49]So they can probably put um skin coat on here tomorrow.

[00:28:33]All right, guys. It's uh what? 5:30.

[00:28:37]Um, and it's quiet time, so the guys are not mixing or using any noisy tools.

[00:28:47]So, we'll uh show you guys what uh what they [clears throat] did today. Let's go around here first. We'll show them through the windows.

[00:28:57]So, lots of uh skim coat got completed today and a lot of pouring. A lot of floors got poured today. So, uh, the office floor is [snorts] done.

[00:29:12]Um, and again, this is this is a rough floor. It's not finished. Um, tile will go in there eventually. This is just a rough uh finish. So, same with the spare. And the hallway out there is poured as well.

[00:29:31]Uh the master closet is poured as well as the master [clears throat] bedroom portion is poured.

[00:29:42]Um the two bathrooms are not poured.

[00:29:49]So they will do that later.

[00:29:57]And then Axel and Larry are up doing the fascia.

[00:30:06]>> Um, so the pantry has been poured.

[00:30:23]>> [snorts] >> So, that's all finished and poured in there. It looks really good.

[00:30:29]Looks nice.

[00:30:32][snorts] Um, looks totally different with the floor and being uh skim coated.

[00:30:38]So, you can see the steel in here. And I know what somebody will say, "Oh, it's laying flat on the ground." We we get it up off the ground once they pour. So, they're going to put some stuff down underneath.

[00:30:52]So, you can see the um water line and it goes all the it goes in and it goes down to the other bathroom as well, hot and cold.

[00:31:04]Uh so, the hallway's been poured.

[00:31:07]So, probably tomorrow this will all be poured. This will be really nice uh to have this poured. And hopefully we can get this done out here.

[00:31:18]um and get this roof up there. They've kind of held off on this portion of the roof.

[00:31:27]Uh they're um >> finishing >> doing the flashings and and the fascia and that kind of thing over there trying to get it completed. And [snorts] there we even have a little thing of paint to go around and touch up all of the uh rivets so it'll all be green. any scratches or anything. And and you'll see you can see the rivets are already painted up here.

[00:31:52]>> So, uh just little details that uh our guys are doing. Um it's really coming along great. [snorts] Uh hopefully within [clears throat] I don't know by the end of this week hopefully we'll have our our windows that do not open ordered and we'll get those in next week hopefully.

[00:32:19]Um so nothing nothing happening over at the shed today. They were focusing on uh the pouring today.

[00:32:34]So, that is going to do it for today.

[00:32:39]They're cleaning up the mixer. That's looking good now. [snorts] Um so, we'll have to get some more back fill and stuff, but uh coming along really nice. Uh it's looking good and um I've been very happy with uh the progress the uh skim coating and stuff. We started on the outside. We did waterproofing skim coat and without even a blink of an eye, the guys that are doing that just transitioned and moved inside to start skim coating and doing stuff in there.

[00:33:17]uh cuz they have to allow this concrete out here, the plastering to to cure. So they went inside and just started skim coating in there. So Tonton and Carlo have done a great job [snorts] as all of them have.

[00:33:33]So um that's going to do it for today.
