[00:00:01]Tony here 456 Chevy trucks LLC Kansas City Kansas hey I'm doing my first uh first reveal on the new international headquarters for 456 Chevy trucks actually be uh 1318 West 9th Street [Applause] and the historic West Bottoms in Kansas City Missouri I'm going to be occupying this space right here we're a couple months out but give you a little sneak preview starting to do some of the uh framing we're gonna have a drive-through door right here it's going to be a sliding like old school barn door and then a man door right there so when we have a project finished or two uh we can put them on skates and roll them into this little showroom here obviously we're just doing framing right now so um not really much to look at but here's a nice size uh nice size office slash showroom to be a good good way to display some of the work that we do um along that wall right there'll be a little uh a little wet bar and then oh conference room table desk plan is I'd like to uh up to 42 inches around here put uh put a wainscot on and then uh from 42 up to the hard lid put white slat wall so we can display all of our Automobilia lots of wall space display all of our automobile yeah as well as a wall of fame for projects that we've completed that's the second floor it's a little window there or small little office that'll look out onto the shop floor that side over there is going to be a little apartment and then a uh kind of an open floor plan uh kitchenette living room dining room type deal um this will be the shop bathroom so the guys won't have to go through the office to use the restroom and speaking of office restroom there'll be an office uh unisex right here toilet toilet topper and a little vanity um so nice little bathroom for the office slash showroom so this building's full of stuff right now but uh we're evacuating it just a little bit of a process this will be the break room for the crew so a little mechanical room under the stairs there then we'll have an ice machine and then this whole wall right here will be an elevation of Base cabinets upper cabinets wet bar and then on the right side there'll be a eight lockers and then around this perimeter wall we'll put a drink rail with bar stools and then out here in the center I'll either have one six top table and chairs our two four top table and chairs the exterior walls here wanted to put Hardy on those because they'll get a little wear and tear so we'll leave that exposed upstairs and then this all this over here that's mezzanine storage is if you know anything about 456 Chevy trucks LLC we ship a lot of parts all around the country good used parts as well as uh some parts we uh we ship out of the country so I haven't quite decided what this uh this little cell will be might be our oh our area where we've got all of our sheet metal tools set up and our welders and all that kind of stuff kind of a little Nook back here for that and then this opening right here goes into the back room and I don't remember off the top of my head this is currently a weld shop but uh this will all be uh evacuated and cleaned out in short order as well so we'll have the booth in here and essentially this will be a clean room um we'll have space and that portion of the clean room over there for final assembly for two maybe three trucks depending on how we set up our uh our staging shelves and and Luna's doing our inspection now we set up our staging shelves for final assembly as well as uh I'd like to have at least one rack maybe two back here because during final assembly it seems like we always we're always up and down and underneath the trucks this wall in here Will three quarter inch tongue and groove plywood so we can easily mount power and shelves and so on to the wall and then this is the entry to the second floor which obviously we're rough in right now framing so as you come up here and you go to the right we'll have all of our wire shelving units up here and then this outside edge here on the mezzanine will have a steel railing and uh a little swing gate so we can torque stuff up on the mezzanine all this up here is uh two by tens 12 inches on Center so it's structurally sound per person pretty good density so this will serve for good use Parts storage which we sell a lot of these parts that's a spoke on our on our business model Revenue generator so we like the uh Barrel trashes and some of the structural and Architectural features of this building so we decided this is the entry into the apartment we decided to bolt this or keep it vaulted so that wall right there goes all the way up to the structure and then these Barrel trusses there at that Apex where the uh Barrel starts to run uphill again we're gonna put a flat deck in that and put some can lights in it we'll leave that brick exposed there on the back wall and then that structural beam would make a nice uh we can put artifacts and automobile you on that and then we'll also on this side so it's bookended we'll leave the uh Destructor will enclose it but we'll keep the structure the structural components Exposed on this side for um just for a little wow factor little kitchen that'll be on this uh back wall bases and uppers and then we'll have a peninsula that comes out so that'll kind of create the kitchen area and then this is basically living room and then we'll put the TV somewhere on that on that wall and then we're going to put another window in this framing right here so we can look out onto the shop floor would have without having to go down the stairs to see if anything's going on down there um or in case we get broken into or something so this here this is a Hollywood bathroom I wanted a door to access from the living area so you'll come in here this will be the stand up shower a little four foot stand up shower that's a little cubby note for uh Linens and such that'll be a built-in and then it's got a door into the master bedroom here but on that wall we'll have on the left hand side we'll have a toilet and on the right hand side we'll have a toilet and a toilet topper and then on the right hand side we'll have a vanity with a medicine cabinet above so this opens up into the uh master suite uh all these windows were put in new a few years ago by the building owner so that's looking back towards the the Hollywood bathroom this is going to be a walk-in closet with the custom bifold doors on it because we're we're kind of limited on swings uh swing space and wall space for doors so we uh we decided that uh a framed bifold door setup on a cased opening is a good a good solution for that so it'll be closed pole and shelf up high for hanging clothes and probably lower will be uh shelves and Cubbies and then we'll stock a couple of little Cubbies on either side of that um probably a TV on this wall um these windows open out on the south elevation of the building so that's looking south of the West Bottoms into the West Bottoms which is Big Time on First Fridays and they have all kinds of festivals and stuff down here so I think it'll be a really great really great opportunity for us this little area right here is kind of a oh it was kind of a funky little Nook here so I decided uh I want to put a stand up 42 inch tall desk here with a bar stool so I can you know have my have my business you know my computer and my my business stuff so this will create a little uh little uh upstairs office work area a little Nook space and then this little pocket right here we'll put a little uh put a little uh two top or maybe a four top high top with a couple of bar stools uh for like a little breakfast nook and this is the other side of the walk-in closet and this happens to be it'll be the framed uh framed opening with bifold doors and that'll be the washer and dryer so they'll be front loaders so it'll have a it'll have a top across the top of the washer and dryer and then it'll have an upper uh I don't know if we'll do an upper with cabinet doors or just a closed pole and shelf for folding and putting you know getting uh doing your clothes doing laundry so this is the little luxie sneak peek preview of the new 456 Chevy trucks LLC International headquarters got three big Overhead Doors there's going to be about oh I think we estimated 75 7 800 square feet here um obviously all this will be emptied out um my friends I own just buildings in the cabinet industry in construction and welding and all kinds of stuff so he has a lot of equipment this is kind of a staging area for him for the last couple years but uh he was gracious enough to forsake this space and rent it to me and uh so hopefully this is our new may not be our forever home but uh certainly uh where we hope to land for the next three years maybe five years and then I'll be getting close to 65 so who knows what happens from there but anyway uh that'll do it for this initial uh sneak preview and uh stay tuned for more updates and as
