[00:00:15]Today I'm back at uh one of these most asked stadium. [music] And this is the Mombasa City Stadium.

[00:00:22]Remember this stadium is also being uh as always as told for the longest time, but uh the county government of Mombasa alongside the [music] national government did seal a deal to help uh in renovating this particular facility.

[00:00:39]This stadium will definitely help in uh um nurturing of the grass grass root talent here in the in the county [music] of Mombasa.

[00:00:49]And uh you see this is actually the work has already started uh at this particular facility. And you can see those are some of the steel works that are have been installed there just to create a canopy. But then again, uh I think [music] from this angle you can see those particular blues blue stuff stuff look like uh they're seats, eh?

[00:01:13]But they are not they are not uh the official seats that will be used at this particular [music] stadium.

[00:01:20]And uh even that the that whole area will definitely be removed. Uh that's just a [music] a design of how things will look like at this particular place or at this particular stadium here.

[00:01:32]You can as well see that uh there are uh machineries [music] that already been uh placed here just waiting for the official work uh to begin. Remember uh the work is just work just commenced a few few moments ago, and right now you can see there's definitely nothing uh visible. But uh I can actually confirm that uh, the the work has officially begun. And this area you see here, this area you see here, this is, uh, the area that, uh, will definitely be having like the dressing rooms and as well as the changing rooms. And we're being told that, uh, this particular place here will like house like a three-story like a three-story, uh, dressing rooms.

[00:02:21]And, uh, the one you see here, this is just the slab that, uh, has been here.

[00:02:29]And, uh, I think this area here is going to be the it they will definitely demolish this whole area here when the official work, uh, begun.

[00:02:39]Uh, in the next few months, I think this place will totally be a different place.

[00:03:31]So, let me just walk around the playing surface, uh, the You can see there's plenty of grass, uh, I think, uh, I Immediately when the work, uh, will officially commence, uh, this whole playing surface here will will be removed, uh, Remember, this the renovation really, really caters across a >> [music] >> whole demolition of this particular facility just to place it with a new a new one and remember the Mombasa stadium will definitely be one of the stadiums one of the newest stadium in this region.

[00:04:07]>> [music] >> This is one [singing] of the regions that definitely hasn't have had like a a improved or like a FIFA standard stadiums.

[00:04:18]But then I think when this particular facility this this particular facility will begin it's definitely going to be a game changer especially in this particular in this particular region of Mombasa city county.

[00:04:35]Mombasa is also one of the biggest counties we have in the region or we have in the country. And I think the county government should also move with speed. I also just helping renovating some of these told stadiums or some of these told projects this particular area. And also the now that we are actually heading to the AFCON 2027 I think it's it's definitely going to to change how Kenya will definitely be positioned in hosting some of these international intercontinental international tournaments.

And also remember we're also going to to show you some of these infrastructures including the train station that is also being constructed from the Nairobi National Stadium to Talanta.

I'm also going to uh once I'm back in Nairobi I'm also going to do like a detailed [music] detailed tour inside this particular infrastructures that are very key for the AFCON 2027. And also as well as you can [music] see the Talanta City Stadium or the Raila Odinga Stadium is definitely right now is taking some nice nice nice shape. I think it's been quite a long it's been quite long since I was there.

[00:06:40]And I think once I'm back to the Nairobi to Nairobi I'm going to go go go there and just showcase to you what's definitely [music] going on there some of the latest developments as well as anything that I really really need to know about this particular facilities. So that [music] area that area you see there uh the steel work is all is already coming up.
